This society is only for people who are really interested in orchids. I had an annual membership, and for a year, I attended monthly meetings. Some members were well-informed about orchids and the orchids on display were impressive. Unfortunately, the membership rules were changed and they insisted on lifetime membership as mandatory, and scrapped annual memberships.After that, I stopped. I did not think it was worth paying for a lifetime membership. I may attend their annual orchid show, if the show happens this year, and if Covid restrictions so permit.

Attended the Orchid show recently at Lalbagh. There were some lovely orchids on display.However, there was this lady at the Membership Registration desk, who was extremely rude and arrogant. She had no decency to talk politely. Good luck with new memberships.
