Very underrated steak house in Montréal. Really nice decor and ambiance and a great selection of drinks and scotch at the bar. Food is incredible and reasonably priced. They actually have some amazing sushi as well. Highly recommend you give it a try while in the downtown Montréal area! 🔥💯

It was just okay. We made a reservation online and we got a table immediately. The restaurant is nicely decorated. A QR code was given to view their menu. We ordered onion soup, prime rib, lamb shank, filet mignon and a sushi platter. Onion soup had a thick layer of cheese but onion taste was not strong. Prime rib is okay but the sauce was a bit salty. Lamb shank was not hot. Everything else was okay. Service was pretty good.

Would not return. Would not recommend. Service was poor, had to keep waiving the waiter down for drinks and table water. Food took about 2 hours to get to the table. We went on a mid-week night, seated at 7pm, food landed around 9:30pm. I nearly cancelled and left. Unfortunately the food was not worth the wait. Really underdelivered.

Nice restaurant, delicious food and great service. We visited on a Sunday evening and it was busy but not packed. We had the bone in rib-eye (22oz) definitely recommend it.They have a good selection of wines and the house made crème brûlée is delicious 😋

Visiting from out of town. This is a classic steak house. We had a great waiter who was professional and able to crack jokes. We ordered the bone marrow appetizer - DELICIOUS and what will make this steak house memorable. The bacon & jalapeno jam on the side topped it off perfectly. We ended up sharing a 10oz filet mignon with sides of grilled veggies (the eggplant was not enjoyed), mushrooms and delicious mashed potatoes with bacon. We left perfectly satisfied.

Absolutely the greatest meal around. The service was also top notch. If i could leave 6 stars I world. Hit this place up for a special occasion or any event. Greatness.

After a long day of site seeing, stopped in for a late night dinner and was not disappointed.Foie gras and bone marrow were rich and delcious appetizers. Beef ribs were cooked perfect with ample flavour and the meat just fell of the bones. Absolutely delicious.Staff were very friendly and accomodating especially since we dropped in 45 minutes before closing.

I honestly dont know why this restaurant isnt rated 5 stars. The food is absolutely AMAZING and DELICIOUS! Service was impeccable as well. I cannot stay one bad thing about this place. For all the ones who rated one star, well I think you should re-review your comment. This restaurant and the chef deserves all the credit and appreciation for the amazing food they serve and the execeptional service. Amazing meal!! Their steak was aged and onsite and cooked the way we requested. Garlic mashed potatoes were super delicious. Calamari was cooked to perfection. Please note that their steaks do not come with any sides. You must order the sides separately for an additional price. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing!! Visited last night for my wifes birthday, every single item was delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection.If you like sushi, the sushi sandwich is a must!! (Tastes 100X better than the name).They brought out a surprise dessert for my wife for her birthday and really made our night. Great ambiance, great food, great service..what more can you ask for.Highly recommend!

I’ve been to many different steakhouses but this was a first of having a waiter watch me cut open a steak to see if it was cooked properly on the 2nd try. Having a group of 6 with 2 steaks completely raw and having to eat while everyone else is finished is unacceptable won’t be returning or recommending to anyone. As well as the waiter arguing because he brought the wrong steak and not acknowledging he Put in the wrong order.

Went there last evening with an out-of-town friend. Couldnt have made a better choice. The sushi was top-notch and the medium-rare steak was delicious. Servers were attentive as we spent 3 hours at our table. Ambiance perfect. A repeat for sure.

Ordered my steak medium rare came out medium well. Complained to the server and he told us he would get the manager.. manager never came. Once we asked for the manager again the manager proceeded to act extremely unprofessional not apologetic at all. They tried to charge us for a steak we did not eat because it was so cooked it was grey inside (ordered medium rare). Service also sucked.. waited 2 hours for our food. Ordered a Cesar salad to start which took an entire hour and they ended up giving it to another table. Would not return after the service and the way we were treated.

Avoid! My boyfriend and I ordered a medium rare rib steak for Valentines Day and it was far from medium rare (see pictures). I had to discard most of the steak and was very disappointed with the quality. The stuffed potato was not warm (cheese was not melted either) and underwhelming. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place, especially for any type of celebration. For the price, you are better of going to the Keg or Gibbys.

Very nice restaurant I would like to come back with a smaller group (we were 40+) and taste some of the nice food that they offer on the menu. Food was very good but like I said was a event and were offer a group menu. Definitely would try again

After reading the negative comments I came in with a basic explanation… everything was excellent. Came here with my girlfriend and we were both very happy with our meals and had a great waiter.

All the food was good. I had the sushi taco, which I actually dont recommend. It was nice, but more novelty and not worth the price. The complimentary bread was delicious. The chicken breast was juicy and tender, with good flavor. My friend had the prime rib. He liked it, and said he would get it again. The riesling tasted like riesling. I wasnt amazed, but would pick it again.Service was friendly, though it did take time for our food. Maybe it takes a while to prepare fancy food. Id say this restaurant has a classy atmosphere, but is still more affordable than similar classy restaurants.

A rare combination of an excellent steak house and an equally good sushi bar. The steaks are some of the best in town, dry aged on the premises, and sushi is definitely not just an after thought. You can tell their third generation sushi chef takes pride in his work and makes some amazing 🍣. The menu is varried and everything I have tried has been superb.

Would not recommend ordering sushi at a steakhouse. Average food quality at above-average prices. Would recommend The Keg or Old Port Steakhouse instead.

This was the second time I was enjoying this excellent restaurant. I had lunch last year and finally enjoyed dinner . On both occasions it was top Notch. I tried the filet mignon. It was really good . A pleasant surprise. Excellent wine selection and the service was simply fantastic. You are two or four trust that you will be very pleased.

This is a really nice place with really good food. They have great steak and amazing sushi as well. It is definitely the best of both worlds. Their staff are really nice. Sometimes it is loud because they take large group reservations.

Absolutely amazing dinner. Came here with a group of 5 last minute when our other dinner plans fell through and so glad we did. The appetizers started off the meal perfectly. The menu has a great mix of seafood and meat. I got the lamb shank which was fantastic but would love to come back to try some of the seafood entrees like the ahi burger. Their Kung Fu fries are interesting and a nice twist for a side dish. The desserts were equally delicious and I would recommend the macaroons for sure. Cant wait to come back to Montreal and try more of the menu.

Our server was very friendly and attentive, even joked around with us. The food was ok. I ordered the lobster tails and its dry. It felt like its been sitting in the freezer for a long time waiting to be served. The Tuna tartare was also ok. The Metropolitan was good. Would I give it another try? Maybe.

Delivery. Very nice presentation overall.Their slow cooked prime rib was delicious, juicy, and sizeable. Very impressive.Salmon tartare was passable, tuna tartare was mediocre. The seasoned crackers were tasty but overpowered the tartares.Creation platter was tasteless and uninspired.I would order steak here again, and try their desserts next time I have the chance.

Great steakhouse and bar. Its perfect its you like steaks or sushi. Or both. There a lot of choices on the menu. The food are delicious. The place is upscale so the food is pricy. However its worth it to try. Please be adviced that sides are sold separately.

Oh my god! Place is amazing! I had the seared walleye with a glass of red wine and it was the best!!! I live in ontario, and we visited for the weekend. I would recommend this place to all that have taste!

Wow, what an experience. Had the tomahawk and lobster tails - amazing! Try the foie gras dipping sauce which is phenomenal. Staff is on point. Key lime cheese cake is out of this world.

The sushi was stellar. Experienced the apple of my eye maki roll. Also had a rare flank steak with the grilled vegetables. For dessert if you have a party of two or more, the chocolate cake with a cheesecake layer was decadent and rich. Great selection of beer as well.

Having read other comments on google and I still think it would be a nice restaurant. However, yesterday I ordered their food as New Year’s Eve dinner, sadly I got a super lean and overcooked ribeye.

We had a great time. Excellent service, outstanding kitchen, perfect environment. We were there with a smaller group and we loved every bit of it. The menu reminds not to order steak well done (which is a crime I would never commit anyway), but it is of course wise. What is recommended on the other hand is their steaks - delicious (medium rare for me)!

The food is so good! I have had sushi and steaks there and no matter what it is always so good! It has been around a long time and I know why! I find it also very reasonably priced for the type of restaurant. Great for work lunches as it is in the heart of downtown but also for a birthday or date! Super nice place and good ambiance!

I was so excited for my husbands birthday. I took him here because he could enjoy all the sushi he wanted, while pregnant me could eat some non seafood items. The hostess that greeted us was super friendly, but thats where the great experience ended. Our actual server (who was with us for 75% of our time there, then disappeared), seemed like he had a terrible day or just didnt want to be there. Super dismissive and rude. Kept forgetting basic things like water. We never got bread. I had to ask for everything. After our food came he never came back to check on us. We left without ever seeing him again. We had to ask a second waiter for the check. May I add, the place was completely empty. The food was average at best, and definitely not worth the price. If you have a big group, it may be worth coming here? Who knows. But for couples or smaller groups, stay away.

This restaurant offers fantastic service as well as delicious menu. My favourite spot in the city. The food served fast and the rates were affordable. Highly recommended.

Excellent Ribeye, excellent service. Seating was far apart. Old school Ceasar salad was fantastic. Highly recommended the Maple Bacon mash potatoes. Wow!

Meat was overcooked. Not at the degree of doneness. At at high-quality specialized stakehouse this shouldnt be an isssue, specially, considering the price you pay. Very disappointed.

Everyone at the table agreed that the food was okay. We got their famous prime rib - it was alright, but nothing to write home about. I was there twice tonight - the first time and the last time.The service was insanely bad. I get it - sometimes youre busy and cant take a drink order... But to not have water in my glass until 40 minutes after sitting down? Thats just not right.

Great steak done with a jack daniels and maple syrup reduction. Perfectly cooked medium rare. For the price at least 1 side should be included. The salmon was excellent and included a large portion of rice. Nice ambiance and comfortable seating. Great for xmas eve!

Service was outstanding. Food was delicious. I had the petite selection. It was delicious but mostly vegetarian sushi. I was hoping for more fish selection on the plate. I would order something different if I go again but it is a great option for anyone who prefers less fishy sushi.My companions had the cedar planked salmon and steak and were very pleased with their meal.

Nice place, good desserts, but if you are not a salt person, like me, some dishes may taste too salty.visited this restaurant few more times this year. Fish is good. But stay away from ravioli: the dish doesnt look appetizing, the taste is plain, the only impression I got is that I was served a reused, reheated leftover. The desserts are still good though.

Quiet and Elegant. I had dinner with a friend while in Montreal for business and this restaurant was just what we needed after work meetings all day. It was quiet and you could easily converse and I was able to combine two appetizers into my meal as I wasnt that hungry. Great service. Recommend.

Dry aged meats now. Great roast beef. And as always, while there had a little sushi and as usual, so damn good!! Great place in all aspects. Had mistakenly put 4 stars but corrected this with 5 stars. Very enjoyable food .

Incredible menu options!

16 people. Few were pleased. And over priced. And it was empty so youd expect food to be faster than 50+ minutes, especially after youve told the waiter multiple times that were on the clock. Walk another 30 seconds to the keg. Was there last evening. Better food and atmosphere to fit what youre in the mood for: bar, lounge, restaurant.

Went there for burger week. Ambiance is fancy and amazingly clean. The burger meat was incredible. However the service was definitely too slow, bread was cold. We had butter on the table but no bread at all for the whole time we were there. Waiters seem to rush all the time but lack of efficiency as it took more than 1h20 in/out just for 1 plate each. Also, as it was too long we paid for a table dhote but nothing was done to accommodate us and bring our tea/coffee away.

I always have great service here and great steak. The prime rip is so tender you dont even need a knife to cut through it. The fries are delicious and the rib eye is a must try as well. Very welcoming environment.I always come here whenever Im in Montreal.

Amazing food fabulous service attention to detail second to none

Restaurant initially presents with ambiance; however, did not deliver at all. Server never asked how meal was, and we had to “find” him to ask for sauce and extras. Server never asked if we’d like another drink yet restaurant was only 20% full at best. Filet mignon was not cooked to a medium rare; medium at best. Based on price we expected better food and service. Save your money and go elsewhere.....

The moment i walked in i was greeted. That a plus. The food was amazing. I had the rib eye steak. It was done perfect as i asked. They also have a large selection of wine so you wont short if finding a good wine. I will definitely go back.

The sliders were dry and the sushi rice was so hard. The calamari tasted decent but it was quite tough. Our server was polite and friendly. Went on a Wednesday night and it was not very busy.

I get to eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I like how the service is always fantastic and they keep the place well organized regularly. Prices are fair and they serve generous portions.

Steak came out blue rare when I ordered medium rare. Despite having cut through the centre of the steak, they just reheated the same piece as before. Was not expecting it to be comped, but there was no discount on it whatsoever. Next time will go to the Keg instead.

This place looks elegant but the food is awful. The calamari was fishy and not very flavorful. The salmon was rubbery and equally as tasteless. My husband had the braised lamb shank which he said was disappointing and the accompanying mashed potatoes were over cooked. The waiter was attentive and service was quick, but the food was quite expensive and absolutely not worth the money. We were very disappointed given the rave reviews. I do not recommend this restaurant.

This was by far the worst dining experience I have had in a long time. The only positive was how nice the waitress was. The food was at best mediocre. I ordered a medium rare filet mignon and it arrived medium to medium well... The waitress tried to take it back but the manager came back to argue that the steak was done perfectly and if we wanted it redone it would take some time.Needless to say, we will not be going back.
