A great sushi place, including for someone whos vegetarian! I came here twice so far and always had a positive experience. The food was prepared with care and so tasty! Hands down to the chef. I especially recommend their poke bowl, so delicious. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

This is more of an indictment of this location than anything. The one in st henri was my first experience and it absolutely blew my mind.I was at work and decided to order from this location. NEVER AGAIN!!!Presentation was absolutely horrible. Taste was completely sub par. If i wasnt working i would have gone to get my money back as soon as i saw the food. It was absolutely the worst sushi that i ever had.To cap it off, they wither gave me someone elses order or messed up my order. What a waste.

It takes a bit of time for your order to be ready, but it’s beautifully and deliciously prepared. My favourite sushi place in The Village.

There was a LIVE larva/bug with antennas in our sushi! My friend had it in her mouth and took it out thinking it was a seed and the bug was moving on the plate! Its the most repulsing experience. I threw out $70 worth of sushi in the trash.

Sushi here is very fresh, good portion, and delicious at a very reasonable price. Employees are nice and provide good service. Highly recommend!

Id say slightly above average for sushi at this price point. Everything was good and service was fast. Nothing really stood out as especially delicious but there was no disappointment either. Not a fancy or unique place but good quality, fair prices and quick service.

The sushi is perfectly done, the ratio of fish to rice, the rice cooking, the freshness of ingredients, all on spot. The price extremely reasonable & much better than places w fancy named sushi that taste like rice with additions. Delivery system is efficient, packing is efficient. I just love the place. Im glad I discovered it since the pandemic started & ordered I think so far once monthly

Ordered for delivery 3 options:1- hosomaki sake maki (6 pieces - $4.75) - 6 small pieces with salmon, were pretty good.2- futomaki kamikaze (5 pieces - $7.25) - I had better kamikaze, but it was pretty good too.3- Plat assorti (12 pieces - $8.99) - pretty good price for 12 pieces, but it were 3 of cucumber, 3 of avocado, then omelete... in other others, only the cheaper stuff. I wish they could be more specific with details specifying that it was only the cheaper stuff, because when you read “assorti” you tend to imagine it’s was going to to be a little bit of everything. Would not order this number 3 again.All in all , I was gonna give 3 stars but decided to go with 4 because delivery was really fast!

Thank you for making my New Years celebration! I had no mood to cook that day, so decided to order a combo with them. Everything was amazing!

This is the second time we order and the quality is great, only thing is on the uber eat app Im unable to add a note to ask for extra ginger or soy sauce, I received my poke bowl with no soy sauce or ginger and I usually like to add this on top, it was delicious either way.

Sushi is really good, but its been almost a month Ive been chasing them to be reimbursed for an order I did not receive. I ordered sushi and a poke bowl for take out back in March, when I arrived at home I saw the poke bowl wasnt there. Called Sama as soon as I saw it to inform the case, was told they would going to reimburse me. 4 calls and almost a month later I am still not reimbursed. Every time I call the same story going to talk to my manager. Nothing, not even a call to give me an update. I am tired of this.Sushi is good, but check your orders before leaving the restaurant. If not you can wait forever for something to be reimbursed.

Delicious sushi. Fairly priced. Nice presentation both times I came. Great variety and interesting unique rolls. Im sad to see it isnt full very often. My new favorite place and Ill be coming back regularly.

Great food and staff, and on this second occasion I got bento box A with miso soup, the eel with rice was wonderful as was the rest of the meal.

I used to buy here.. and I reaaaally loved it until I went there, ordered and I found a hair in one of my sushi, I was about to die, first time that this happened to me with Sushi Sama, Im completely disappointed 😞

After being disappointed so many effing times in this city and greater area this one place succeeds. They actually make American style sushi with the rice on the outside. The flavors are so FRESH AND ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS MY GOD I WILL BE À FOREVER CUSTOMER BLESS YOUR SOULS.

Very good and affordable sushi. Plenty of vegetarian options. I highly recommend the tofu skin roll. We ordered it without really knowing what to expect and it ended up being our absolute favorite. We always search for a tofu skin roll at every sushi place we go to now but havent been able to find one that can compare.

Nice selection of fresh sushis and their Poké bowls are delicious. Only take out for now.

Ordered a mixed box .Seems they do not make it fresh. Instead they pulled apart ready made refrigerated boxes and reassemled them into the special. The tempura in the rolls was not crisp . The nigiris was dry. Expected a bit better. Spend your money somewhere else .

It is very fresh and of great quality. I have ordered it several times at this restaurant. They have improved their appearance and they are getting better and better. The good sushi restaurant is in Montreal.

I just ordered from them. Horrible the worst franchise in Montreal. I eat sama sushi all the time it was really not good. The salmon tartar didnt have salmon just crispy look at the photo and the dragon eye was cold and not crispy. I do not recommend this place.

So far 5 stars! Having discovered pokebol last year, this place does the best IMHO inexperienced ... at least of all Ive tasted ... about 5 different establishments. The service is friendly, the staf is friendly to each other too, which is very appreciable for the atmosphere. Sushi, we come back to it: 2nd time we order and we cant wait to discover new ones. So far everything is going very well. I see nice comments about the hostess / waitress as they say and it is true that she is very charming and very professional.

I ordered the heirloom sushi and it was missing the tuna and strawberry. Besides, the sushi was placed in the wrapper very wrong, as if they had thrown the sushi into the dish. Very disappointing for the price especially when they forget half the ingredients for a sushi ...Branch on Sainte-Catherine. I havent tested the other one.

I was a loyal customer of the Beaubien branch (minimum 1x week) and I loved their service and quality. I have a few dietary restrictions and they followed them with every order.On the other hand, I cannot say the same for the ste-catherine branch, I moved nearby so I have to order there now.Unfortunately, after 5 times, I was really disappointed and stopped ordering. The sushi is not super fresh, is stuffed with tempura and hardly any fish, Or does not fulfill my order and still put the food I asked not to put.

A real disappointment, I usually order the one from Rosemont which is excellent but there, nothing to see, very disappointed. 2 hours of waiting for delivery, miso soup that tasted tasteless, water, a shame to sell that…. A salad ordered but no Asian vinaigrette and finally some poor quality sushi, really disappointed while I love the one in Rosemont (but they do not deliver to my new address), in short!

Hello, I order almost every day I am a big consumer of sushi sama especially those on the south shoreI have ordered this sushi sama several times but each time it is not fresh the parts openMy last order of spicy shrimp futomaki was really bad, almost no shrimp, filled with mushy tempura and mayonnaise, the avocados in the hosomaki were tough too bad, I threw everything awaythe south shore sushi sama are better

Being a fan of sushi sama on Beaubien, I tried this one, clearly not the same quality at all. My order was not fresh, the rice hard, extremely disappointing for a restaurant with the same name as the one I idolize.

Ordered tray 36 pieces. 80% of the tray had pollock / veg. Absolutely nothing original. Buffet quality. Not bad, but you might as well turn to fast sushi for a lower price and equal quality.

Great employer, we rectify an order error 10 minutes after closing and we deliver despite the lack of employee on late delivery. We even add a surprise to our order and in words. This Sushi Sama establishment was a discovery for me. I have been going regularly since it opened last year. All plates are well prepared. Food is always fresh. Sushi is appetizing, Poké bowls are succulent, soups are overflowing with flavor. The places breathe cleanly. The service is fast and courteous. The staff is attentive.

The Poke Bowls of this sushi restaurant are large and of high quality! It is worth the detour. The restaurant has a few tables for eating. There is a sushi counter ready to bring. some customers prefer to order and bring. The restaurant also does delivery. The staff are very cheerful and kind. Bottled water is free during a meal on site.

Its been two hours since we waited for our order, impossible to call or talk to someone. We finally never received our order and the restaurant indicates that it is open until 21:30! Really not a good service. Last time I order from you.

I am generally very satisfied with my orders at sushi sama on ste Catherine. However, tonight, after eating dragon eyes and miso soup, I immediately vomited. When I called them to inform them that something was not fresh in these products tonight, they told me that it took 24 hours to be digested so it was not their products ... Anyway, my body immediately rejected what I had just eaten, and only that ... I did not find them listening and anxious to check their products after my phone ... its a shame and I will not recommend more at their home
