It was a great place. The staff also were very friendly. Doesnt matter which room you take its always a great view for silhouette photography. Food was amazing, only wished they had more plant based food options. The views for the place was amazing 😊 would totally go again

We went there to celebrate my fiance birthday and liked the service and view from the resort. The management gave us a free complimentary room decoration with a cake which was unexpected, this gesture from the resort made our day.The food is a little expensive, but the taste is good. The resort is clean and serves hygienic food.Highly recommended 👍

One of the best resorts to stay in when traveling to Khandala. I stayed in executive room which was very comfortable and size of the room was good enough. The view from the window was breathtaking as well. Hotel services are pretty good but on the expensive side. Breakfast is good but could have added more variety. Lunch and dinner both are good and cost 999 plus taxes.Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Property is not very big bit the view from the property and room is tremendous. Especially panorama view rooms are superb. You will love the experience if visited in mansoon and winter. However food options are very limited and unnecessarily costly. Food rates match with any 5 star hotel but quality/quantity of the food is just local. If they improve on food side it will be best 3 star resort.

Amazing place to visit during rainy season. Avoid staying in room number 218 & 118, as the view is majorly blocked. Easily accessible from mumbai & pune. The food is good.

Hotel located on little remote area, so you enjoy peace. It is also located on little cliff so you enjoy view and cool weather. Service is little late as lack of staff. atmosphere of hotel building to plan your upcoming projects.

Summary - good property, below par maintenance, not value for money.The room was amazing. The front desk staff was very helpful and arranged a complimentary cake for my wife’s birthday.However, the housekeeping, restaurant, cleanliness are all below par. Food taste was good.ESP considering the cost they are charging, the luxury levels should have been much higher. The restaurant staff and service could have been much much better. Room service was fine.If you choose valley view room, avoid the ones with balcony. They are not maintained and the balcony is bad. Choose the ones without balcony.

Hotel is best in khandala. View towards Mumbai Pune highway is best. They offer good food as well. You can ask for complimentary such as cakes and room decorations. Staff is very polite and professional. All room has best view. You can negotiate about the room cost.

Breathtaking view. Monsoon & post monsoon months are best to visit. Modern & well maintained rooms. View is more or less same from every room. The ground floor rooms get extra small private garden space outside. Road outside the resort is always busy and with traffic jam. Ample parking and free space to roam within premises. Spa is nice but relatively expensive. Same goes with food. Buffet is 999+ tax in 2021. a la carte is equally costly. There are no eateries nearby at walking distance. Better book complete meal option in booking, to avoid driving through narrow lanes of Khandala just for food. Courteous staff and wallet parking.

It was great and very nice experience staying at Dukes Retreat Resort. It was my daughters birthday occasion and resorts has taken all care for celebration like cake arrangements, room decoration. It was surprised to have Trumpet songs for my daughter at dinner place.Overall food is awesome , staff is very friendly and we have excellent time at resort.

The location and vistas from the Resort are simply amazing. Extremely convenient location and I had a great time walking from Khandala Station to the Resort. Rooms are superb and very spacious, however I had a small issue of ants in the bathroom.Overall would recommend as an excellent getaway option!Cheers!

The location is easily accessible. The deluxe panorama room is just awesome! The food is good. The view is nice.There is no a la carte in the restaurant. The pool is closed for now. The proximity to the expressway makes certain areas noisy.

First we came from all the way from Mumbai to have lunch in this place, while we did reach a little late, the staff member out rightly denied lunch saying that its full and that we cannot accommodate 1 couple. We offered to take food and sit at the deck but it was denied.To the hotel, first of all the entire industry has been hit by covid and second when customer come you have the audacity to refuse it while ease creative solutions are available to get more business and keep everyone happy. By keep such rigid policy and no on the feet thinking, you not only deny customer but diminish brand value and overall view of the tourism industry. Seriously disappointed .1 star for the view.1 star for the fact they did let us enter the resort.

We have booked a panorama view room, room is quite spacious with a wonderful view but I felt the cooling of the room was not sufficient. we have to depend on table fan to get a comfortable sleep. when you charge good rate must confirm the satisfaction of the guests too.wonderful view. food is also very good

Very beautiful property. I was amazed to see it. Clean and nice executive room with balcony which gave such a beautiful view with waterfall. Food was very good though it was expensive but its worth it coz this property will make you fall in love with lonavala. I really enjoyed.

If you are visiting for the first time, I would recommend you go for the Deluxe Valley View room as it is worth every penny. The room is very spacious, has a nice sitting area and offers a great view of the valley as well. Make it a point to take a stroll in the evening as the overall ambience is quite good and the atmosphere is pleasant to have a good time with your friends/family. The food is good, but I think the Cheese Chilly Toast needs a lot of improvement as it smelled of ghee.

Except for the view, nothing else is good. Staff is courteous and helpful. Food & SPA services are too expensive and did not appeal to my common sense since there are plenty of other options available at better quality at half the prices (For example Meritas Crystal). Also I guess, the STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) is not working properly because of which there is strong odor which we experienced occasionally in the bathroom and in the balcony area.

Hotel is located one of the best spot in Khandala Lonavala Highway. Hotel is old but very well maintained. Food is awesome and delicious..Restaurant Service is very poor especially during morning breakfast time.

Stayed there for 2 nights. We booked a valley facing deluxe room. The view is phenomenal & our room also had a sit out.Staff is exceptional and amongst their strengths. Breakfast and dinner buffet spread were good and taste was good. In room dining too is very good.We tried their spa too. Is very good and worth the price.Special shout out to Mr. Jayant Joglekar who helped us a lot with the bookings and answered all the queries patiently.

It was awesome. View is too good. Breakfast is best. Lunch taste was ok and little costly as per the quantity. But overall, a great place to be with family. Indoor activity space should be little more as playing become difficult when more people are there.

Only sore point is you mostly will have to go for buffet as a la carte will be more expensive with limited options and you cant have it in restaurants.Value for money: 3 star. Everything (room rate, food) was quite expensive but the property didnt appear to be maintained to demand such high rate.Staff: 4 star. Polite and courteous.Overall: 3.5 stars. Safe stay with covid protocols. But outside seating with beverages and drinks was not allowed, which was a mood killer. The basic room has practically no view at all.

The Dukes Retreat is an ideal getaway after an exhausting week. The view from the place is, without a doubt, absolutely world class. The ideal time of the year to visit is monsoon, where the grey clouds kiss the hills and one feels right in the lap of nature. The service is one of the best in the business and does not fail at any given time. The stay overall is very refreshing. However, the only possible drawback, and that too if one is being rather picky, is the slow Wi-Fi speed and limited number of devices it can connect to, given in the rooms. However, the view absolutely and completely makes up for it. Overall, the view alone makes it a Dukes Retreat.

Okay service. Food is on the expensive side and taste doesnt justify the price. Washbasin had a big crack in the middle and water was dripping on the bathroom floor. We werent shifted to different room despite of them assuring us thrice. Also bathroom switchboard was broken (They got it fixed somehow).

The place, location, rooms were awesome but few flaws overpriced Ala carte menu due to which all the guests that stay over order food from other restaurants thanks to zomato, there was a coupon available on the internet without any expiry date which ideally means it was a valid one 1000 Rs food coupon per night if ur stay is 3 days or more but the staff denied to give it as they insisted it was an year old offer, thats definately not my problem. Not many families stay for over 2 nights in that case to accommodate this offer was their duty but after speaking to the reception at 3 different occasions yet they said they will get back but didnt... The evening hi tea is priced at 400 rs which consists of tea/coffee and 1 portion of snack... Its not worth at all... But on the other side the breakfast that we opted for was a wide spread and fresh too... The location is definately a plus point but its far from the main hustle bustle...

It was the worst experience ever we had.1.The water bottles given by the room service was open ….the seal was broken so as we enquired they say we refill the water bottles which is Highly unexpected especially during the Covid time.2.The food served during the breakfast was not even heated properly ….when was asked to reheat it they were not even responding… the food served in monsoon was not hot enough.3.When we ordered for Tea …it was told to us that it is mandatory to buy snacks from them which was around to Rs.400 plus taxes ….we wanted to have just a Tea which was not given to us. Saying that you can go to the room and asked for the room service.It was a horrible experience…. I am giving one star just for the scenic beauty we could see from the rooftop

The view from the hotel or its rooms is breathtaking during monsoons but the breakfast buffet and the lunch buffet good is very sad and definitely not the moneys worth.

This was my 2nd stay here after the all covid lockdowns and unlocks . My Last visit was in Feb and I still had the same experience here this time too. They follow all safety protocols and hygiene guidelines. Best experience at this Beautiful resort with amazing nature views and scenery around. The food is delicious!! All buffet meals breakfast, lunch , dinner are super tasty and are piping hot. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with plenty natural light. Very clean and hygienic bathroom. Room service is very prompt. And staff is very friendly and courteous.The resort is a perfect blend of open and covered spaces with gardens and open kids play area. Theyve closed the pool right now but the spa is open. Its Perfect for a weekend getaway.

It was great coming to dukes agn post pandemic as I am regular guest over here.i like the ambiance over here. the staff very courteous and polite.it just that they have set up limited time period for food I personally think they should extend time period for breakfast lunch and dinner as well there were limited options for ala carte. lets understand guests come for leisure and enjoyment. as well I was not able to use the gym as one of the staff told me its closed for renovation other told me it will open by 9.00 am so no proper information .nevertheless overall it was great coming to dukes agn most probably I will be there in monsoon.nothing as such i have been with friends to many places but being a solo traveler u are independent to enjoy ur day as you like.

I had a wonderful stay. This place has kids play, garden, wheelchair facility, swimming pool, restaurant, mini bar cafe, spa, gym(currently closed), a deck with panoramic view and extremely good rooms.Service & Food are also very good. Enjoyed my stay.
