Currently open during Covid times. Not at all well maintained. The entrance has a small restaurant for snacks and also washroom facilities are available. The park is big enough and at an elevation, with a temple and a few residents strewn inside at the end. It goes beyond till a huge water tank. You can spot few Indian Koels, Fowl etc. Some trees have very old and overgrown entangled dangling roots which is the main attraction. Many anthills too are there, so watch your footstep. The park doesnt have enough benches to sit, also the lawn isnt well cut or well placed. Parking is not available inside the park, but right opposite the park there is some parking available for two and four wheelers.
Once a Botanical garden, during the years of service of an English officer ‘Mr. Rye’, has now been converted into a park frequented by picnickers. Lounging over 25 acres of manicured land, the park provides extensive green lawns, that are equipped with swings where the children can play and have fun. Hence it is an ideal visiting spot for the tourists as well as for the local people, to sit on the clean wooden benches, stroll around the tall trees and relax with the near and dear once. Apart from the varieties of trees and flowering plants, the park also has an old Shiva Temple within its premises. When I visited in the December month there was some reconstruction were in place. So didnt saw full garden but its very nice and pleasant 😊
Good response n best service
A small park in which there is a small portion which is cemented.. some wilderness.. a temple.. a water tank and enough greenery for spending an evening. We reached there on a rainy day and the whole feeling was amazing . It is just wonderful to walk around the park and it is on the way to the lake view point. This is at close proximity to both bus stand and railway station. Which is at a walkable distance..
Chilled out place even at the temperature of 35 Degrees plus .Feels like a fresh breath of oxygen reviving your body and mind.Huge trees every where but alas not looked after Ill maintained lots of trash strewn around .Kids playing area is really pathetic with broken slides and swingsWish they look after this place wellIts an oxygen chamber
Good place to sit and chill. Huge trees. If you are lucky and patient, you can spot quite some birds. There are temples in the premises. Theres also a facility for snacks and washroom. The greenery is good for photography. Parking space is across the road near the entrance of a dargah.
Service was good. Travel was Hassel free. Driver was driving very safely. Highly recommended
This park is an age old landmark of Lonavala. It was once a very nice garden park for kids but now its in a pathetic condition. People use it for spending some time for fitness and jogging. The municipality should come consider making it into a nice park again as theres nothing much left in Lonavala. The Gola wala outside is there since last 20 years and is the only attraction there
Nothing special. All city have thus like garden. This is only for to make large list of points to view of lonavala-khandala and get to benefits taxi because of if more points, visitors give more money to taxi.
Nice place for a morning walk and enjoying the greenery
It doesn’t qualify to get it called as a Park.So don’t add this place to your visiting list,Please.
Park is very good for morning walk but its very unsafe for children the rides in the park are broken it need to get repair . All basic facilities are available in the park like water and restroom
Don’t visit it ! There is nothing to see here ! Normal municipal garden with no facilities. Don’t count it for local site scene!! Your tour guide or Texi driver will try to sell it 😉
Car was very clean driver was good .one of the best taxi service in lonavala.
Serene and calm place to sit and relax. The canopy of the trees provide a cool share and relaxed environment!!
Ryewood Park, sprawling over 25 acres, is located close to the Lonavala market. This park was initially a botanical garden, during the years of service of Mr. Rye, who was an English officer. The park was later re-constructed with decade old trees and ornamental flowering plants.Abundant in floral variety, the park has tall trees with an ancient Mahadev (Shiva) Temple, located within the premises. Spacious open spaces to sit and relax, green grass, flowers and swings are amongst the highlights of the park.
One of the less popular places in lonavla, you wont find much crowd here. Lot of tall trees. Nice place to just enjoy the Peace and quiet, among nature. Theres a small temple beside the park for those interested. There is no entry fees. Also I found this place is nice for a photo session. Good photos with greenery and shadows can be taken. Best to visit during sunsets.
Nice ryewood park Lonavala
Beautiful park.
This place is really calm and peaceful. Its like a forest in the middle of a city.
This park needs lot of attention and timely maintenance by local authorities.
Because no one is their for care..
Its only for nature lover... Very beautiful views especially in rainy season..

Nice place.
Good place to chill out . Not much for site seeing
Nice place to fresh up and chill
Beautiful view .had fun
Its just a small park with trees n some toys for kids to play on. Nothing special, but it forms the part of a trip to the sunset points. We clicked some nice pictures here and enjoyed the trip. But nothing unique or exemplary.
Plus-point Near Lonavala Station so if your frustrated about your train deferring for another 1—2 hr... Then dont worry.... Visit this place in order to calm yourself down and then surround your body in this soothing park.... Which consists of lots of big branched tress.Im not going to add any over descriptive words here... Knowing that the park dont possess anything special for the visitors to always cherish however Keeping the chaos of the urban world and the way we have found ourself constantly trapped in it.. This place will indeed add that well deserved serenity that you always yearn to have!Do visit ones... Give nature the love it deserves.
Best cab service provider in Lonavala
Very plesant,lots of tress
Awesome service and autstanding fire flair❤️🔥
Not well maintained.
Its a nice cool place in the heart of lonavla. Some of the play equipments are broken, but its still fun. Trees are tall with big shadows and are maintained nicely. There is an environment friendly compost pit also built. Overall is a good place to spend of you have some buffer time at your hand before check-in or after check out from hotel
Nothing much to do. Just a small garden in middle of Lonavla.Nothing to be found around seems to be like a normal park.Market located nearby. Lonavla station located near by.Nothing interesting about this place. If you like spending time in the woods only then visit.Rather preference would be roaming around.
Best place is good to relax in Lonavala. Feels damn quite and beautiful to go over there. Its not so big area but youll feel close to Nature.
A good place where a person can find silence and peace of mindGood to hangout with friendsNatures beauty at its best, there is one big swing naturally build by the nature and good to swingA big temple is there in the parkIf you all wanna have fun and relax try out this place really youll get a good experience and want to visit the place again!!!
Nice place
Amazing place to hang out with that one twisted beautiful tree with good food and even better and cleaner washroom ❣️♥️
Not developed well.. just ok place
Osm place family and freinds
Its nice place for picnic
Place was pretty good. I found there people burning stuffs which was a big turn off. No proper seating available. Overall ok place.
Its ok, you can have food in nature 🌿🍃
Park with very high trees ... Good place to have peace ... Very silent place .. but needs to be maintained and clean...✌️✌️
It’s just like any other park in your town but the trees here had grown older so it looks like a mini forest. This is a place where we may not be able to spend more than an hour as it has nothing to offer like play areas or garden or lawn kind of stuff. Very few cement benches were arranged and seems they are of more than 10 years old, so we couldn’t take much risk by sitting over there. I don’t consider it as a site seeing point in Lonavala.
Ok place not so exciting
A place to visit in Lonavala
Small garden in locals with a small childrens play area. Went on a weekday so no one was here. Play equipments need to be maintained else will rust and will be unusable.Entry to the Place is not very prominent. But lots of trees make the place atleast a couple of degrees cooler than surroundings.
Total waste just an open space, The photos posted by others are of other locations, misleading people
Cool and silent place to hangout...nothing for kids... Good for small old school family gathering
Quite place near the railway station. Instead of Waiting at railway platform for train its better wait at this place just 10 mins walk from railway station
To hang out with the rest and family at the evening time 👨👩👧
Please dont waste time visitng this place. Judging by the name, we thought this would be a well-maintained park but it is nowhere close to it.It lacks benches. No proper lawn. No boards to guide you to toilets, etc.Utter waste of time.
Great spot for sitting for a while - very calm and peaceful and green. Has a temple too
One time visit. Need more maintenance. .. fully natural . Overall good
Nice service of cab
This is a park in Lonavla. Good to visit in winter evening. Neither summer nor in the afternoons as it will be hot and empty
Nature friendly..
Its also called as Shivaji Park... The park was completely muddy..may be because of recent rain.. However the greenery is good.. Bt there could be better cleanliness. The playground for kids was spooky looking.. All the seating benches were crooked.. May be its better to go during summer season.. Including us three there were only a group of 4 people..
Its garbage, in summer time, rain might made that place good, photos are personal, one interesting theres a natural jhoola, we enjoyed it a lot, happy travelling
The place has nothing except trees. It seems The park is not even maintained well. You can sit here for some peaceful time for self. Silent and calm place. 👍
Very good place to visit
Peaceful silent garden.
You can spent your quality time here. very beautiful and peaceful place
Its better if you go pavana pure veg camping, no cruality on animal for your food very good veg food place for real animal lover also much joy...
Fresh Air.Picnic spot.Morning Walk.Neat n Clean place.Kids can enjoy elder can take a walk.
The one thing you will definitely like is very tall trees and full Oxygenated Fred Air and peace.Near to Lonavala Railway Station only 700 mts from lonavala Station. This place is Okay, Park is not well maintained and not too much of variety of plants and Trees.
Good place to have a family picnic. Beautiful place. Place even for playing cricket very good place love to visit again
Good for chidreen to visit... nothing special but can be a spot for nature lovers
Romantic and Greenery all over best place for walk and kids play area and picnic for kids and there is Religious Shiv Temple in This Park which is Crowded on the Day of Maha Shivratri Fair.
Nothing happening. But its still an attraction of the hill station. Just perfect for kids & aged. Has one major drawback that it closes early so we cant take our kids out in the evening after their studies to play in the garden other than other gardens.
Trees and trees and trees... Good park to spend sometime when you are around the place.
Nice place for hangout....
Place to hang out with friends and family.Picnic/Morning Walk/Night Walk anything that you want. There is a Lord Shiva Temple that is visited by 100s of devotees everyday. On Shivratri a huge fair takes place. Managed by local people.Rides, Foods, Fast foods, Toys, Rides, etc can be seen all around the same day.10 minute walking distance from Railway Station.15 minute walking distance from Bus station.Within 5~10 minutes walking distance, you can reach McDonalds, Pizzahut etc
Place is close to the station ......so you can spend some time
Huge Quiet Park with Temple of Lord Shiva. Nice Big Trees at Entrance with Swing Like Roots Entangled in each other.
Average park, not properly maintained.
Beautiful gardenThe natural swing from the hanging root is a real attraction for fun
