Poor poor condition of ground ,ground staff is very bad in behaviour surjaram is his name .Very unfriendly with ground conditions .No help will be provided by groundsmen regarding ground maintaince and they need only money that too in advance complete money with security for no reasonGrass is very very dense no proper maintainceAnd when we ask for anything he says do what ever u can do I will do whatever I think is right .U can complain to any officer regarding our complaints .These were words of Surjaram (the care taker of old railway ground)Harshly disappointed for complete 4 days of our booking.I would not recommend this ground for any sports loving personalty.

The stadium was established by Indian railway. there are very good cricket pitch of international standards. Zym is also established in this stadium. Indoor Playground also available here for indoor games like table tennis, basketball, billiards and many more games. a very good quality swimming pool also available here with well trained trainers. any one can play here with suitable fee.

This stadium is authorised by Indian railways and place for performing physical enduring test, stadium contain a ground racing track, Cricket stadium and warm-up site, this place can easily located by your whical and 10 minutes distance from railway station

Best place for sports specially for Table tennis coach Amit thanvi is best coach in whole Rajasthan..they create factory of national paddlers now days even a 12 year old girl Sunidhi played 21 youth category final and grab the silver medal losted same team mate of railway stadium Anshul Vyas..

Best stadium in Jodhpur, its pitch is awesome and good for batting. The out field is also good. Bus at boundary line the grass is missing so its request to Owers to please look at that issue otherwise it is best cricket ground in Jodhpur. There is basketball court also there.

Perhaps the oldest functional playground of Jodhpur is maintained by Railways and is allowed to use only someone from Railway. Around 50 years back, inter-school cricket tournaments used to take place in this ground. Still today, it has maintained Cricket Pitch. Once Ranjee Trophy matches used to take place here. Salim Durrani, Ashok Makand etc. once played here.
