Great selection of stuff ,kind and considerate service

Visited this store in person after repeatedly enjoying the creative and innovative window display in passing previously. The business has a craft/hipster vibe and a wine range and display style that excites the eye and palate. As I was about to enjoy a rare treat of alcohol I chose this small business to buy some cold beers. The store interior following the two handcrafted Covid Safety Rules & community behaviour guidance posters on the door was welcoming. The staff member was elegant, clothed and styled to match his obvious enjoyment of fine wine and customer satisfaction. I observed and listened briefly to discussion of wine for an occasion with the only other customers (a young couple). Chose my simple purchase from small beer fridge & before it had touched the service counter he had already excused from his conversation. The gentleman appeared in front of me with a pleasant smile, a few words passed during pay & package option and a genuine thanks and enjoy safely upon my leaving.Environment & service as elegantly Top notch as I am certain every hand picked beverage in this smaller chain store is too!Recommend it strongly for the whole pleasant and uplifting experience from footpath to purchase.Cheers, my senses are thanking you Blackhearts & Sparrows.👈🖤👉

The Fitzroy team are awesome - always friendly, super knowledgeable and willing to help find exactly what Im looking for, even when I get my wine labels mixed up! I go on a weekly basis and still feel like Ive only just scratched the surface of their incredible range.

Walked in looking for wine with very limited wine knowledge (which I made very clear and was met with either do I which made me chuckle) but was met with super friendly and helpful staff, excellent suggestions were made and has been enjoyed immensely. Didnt catch the staff names but you guys were great. Thanks heaps!!

Obviously wonderful selection of delicious wine, but the actual best thing about this place is how knowledgeable and insightful all the staff are and how generous and thoughtfully they share this insight.

Great selection of booze! Was searching for a specific yuzu umeshu, and these guys had it. Very impressed with the global regional wines represented here. Came in for 1 bottle, walked out with 6.

Very good selection of Australian wines and very knowledgeable staff. I’m not familiar with the price points of Australian wine but the recommendations they gave me for $30 were very good. Very nice layout.
