I loved a lot of things about Dr Z - however the clinic is NoT a confidential space. You can hear EVERYTHING being discussed on the other side of the wall while waiting in the exam room. I flagged this concern a number of times and felt the issue was not taken seriously or appropriately addressed.I also found wait times to be extreme and my care to not be as HAES as I would like.

Apparently they close whenever they feel like it. Called at 425 to book an appt.... automatic voicemail stating theyre closed.... Supposed to close at 5! after looking at the reviews it seems I have dodged a bullet anyway. Terrible.

Dr Zaidi was really nice, and for the most part her reception is friendly, but like most western doctors, appointments are rushed.I went to ask for a referral for a psychologist and to also see if she could help with my anxiety. I was basically told that because of my age group (20-25) I can’t get any anxiety/ panic attack medication which would benefit me, without putting me on drugs daily, which I really stressed to her I was looking for other options. I understand it. She never asked me any more questions, just shut me down immediately. Okay, I’ll settle with talking to someone. She then told me she would have a psychologist in the clinic call me to book an appt. Awesome, I thought that was great. Jk, no one phoned and when I asked three times and called, I was met with not very helpful answers, or that the psychologist was too busy.Thank you for making me feel like I am not worthy for depression/anxiety treatment. Thank you for assuming what I can and can’t handle. It turned me off from seeking help because I was treated like a kid. This non existent follow up may be the reason someone hurts themselves. Please take more care and direction on the follow ups of your patients with mental illness. I would hate for another person with their heart hurting like this to feel as disregarded as I did.Other than that, Zaidi seemed kind and not too judgmental.

Please dont go here unless you have a lot of time to waste! After waiting for over a month for an appointment at 1130 am we finally left at 1220pm This is so very unprofessional and inconsiderate. It would have taken one phone call to let us know the Dr was running late. Their administration needs better training🥴

Have been a patient here for my whole life as well as my family. Missed 2 appointments in a year because i didn’t remember to book them in my calendar ( 1-2 weeks just to get in) They called me and told me they would no longer see me at all and to go find another office. I can understand them treating me this way but i was NEVER given a warning. Doctor Mah just seems to want to rush his patients out and I’ve heard this from other patients as well. I recently called back and asked for another chance and repeatedly apologized. They won’t even return my call. STAY AWAY

I have been going to Grandview medical clinic for a long time. Dr. Theman was the doctor that I started out with as a teenager and she has been wonderful every time Ive seen her, though extremely popular and hard to book with! For the appointments Ive needed fast Ive seen Dr. Zaidi and she has also been lovely. The wait times are usually on the long side - I dont know if Ive ever been seen on time - but all the nurses and support staff have been polite and friendly.

I have been a patient here for 20 years and Dr Mah is an exceptionally talented doctor. In my many years of visits I have never had to wait more than 2 minutes EVER. Dr Mah is ALWAYS on time and always extremely professional. I have no incentive to give this excellent review, I’m not a paid mouthpiece, I just think the truth deserves to be told. It’s rare to find excellence in the health care system but DR Mah certainly does breathe excellence every day. Don’t believe these bad reviews I’m pretty sure some of these people missed a few hugs growing up and maybe they’re not all there.

Doctor Zaidi is a lovely doctor. She has always been very caring and attentive, and helped diagnose a health issue I had been battling for many years. She gave me a referral to the Capital Health Womens Centre to make sure I was in the best hands possible for my health issue. The receptionists and assistants are also very helpful and caring, they have always made me feel like my problems truly matter to them and that they will go to the end of the earth to help me out with any issues Ive had.Sometimes the clinic is running behind, but I feel like thats to be expected with most medical clinics you go to, because if a doctor is truly caring and attentive, then they will end up spending over the allotted time with each patient, consequently making them behind schedule. This is merely a minor inconvenience in my eyes. The only actually negative experience I had was with Doctor Nishiwaki, who was my first Doctor before I asked to be transferred over to Dr Zaidi. Dr Nishiwaki came off as very cold and disgusted with me. She did not follow up with any of my test work, and just gave off the overall vibe that she did not care about whether or not I returned as her patient. Luckily Dr Zaidis lovely demeanor made up for Dr Nishiwakis lack of one!

Well, having been a patient there for the last 10 years (for lack of being able to get in to a new doctor) this facility is sorely lacking. There front reception is terribly rude - I just called today to make an appointment only to be told that my doctor retired (was not sent out any information on this) and also be told that I cant see any other doctor there because they are to busy and havent hired a replacement, nor can I see the original doctor there because she may be retiring soon as well. Dont bother trying to go to this place, not worth your time or effort.

They are always running behind, Im lucky to get in half hour after my appointment time, usually Im waiting 45 minutes to an hour before I even get into a room. Their hours are only during the day so Im taking time off work just to sit and wait forever. When bringing up issues with Dr. Zaidi Im brushed off. I brought up nausea and explained the multiple things that cause it and she told me to drink ginger ale and take Gravol... She doesnt try to figure out whats wrong. This is the exact reason why I never see the doctor anymore.

Dr. Theman put my mother on birth control nearly 35-40 years ago. I’ve been going to her ever since I was born. She put my sister and I on the pill as well haha. She is a phenomenal doctor who listens and offers her shoulder to lean on. I’ve had struggles and Dr. Theman takes the time to listen to me and to offer other options. She’s not just a doctor who wants to see you for five minutes and get you on your way. I have a great deal of respect, admiration, and thanks for her. That being said. She’s a fantastic doctor and a lot of people love her. So ultimately, appointments are sometimes longer than expected. I know that if you don’t book with her in the morning.. your afternoon appointment will be delayed an or two.

Great place, been going their since I was born. The bad reviews are hilarious tho, its sad that people expect the world from drs and when one tiny thing doesnt go their way there the worst drs ever lol. Disregard the bad, drs can only have so many patience and it looks like that ladys to dumb to figure that out lmao
