The citys favourite cozy corner! Delicious authentic food with flavours that I had never tried before. Mouth watering desserts and the perfect coffee. Would definitely make it my go-to place. Excellent service and amazing aesthetics! All in all I would give it an 11/10 (+1 for the sweet staff). A MUST VISIT for everyone in town.

I would have rather given a 1/2 star. The most expensive in the catagory, and the extremely bad. Unhygenic, not maintained, basics were not provided. Went by the name Fern, but was highly disappointed.

Worst place to stay ....The property has down graded and is not suitable for couple and family .The voice is audible from adjacent rooms . Also no courtesy and warm welcome by the staff . No valet available for parking your moped .I used to book this hotel for business trips and found it comfortable before covid times . Now the property has degraded itself and way below the standards .Tainted towels ,no toiletries kept in the bathroom where you have to call and wait for 10-15 minutes .Never ever booking in the fern property ever again in my life .

I visited this rooftop on The fern residency few day back and must say I was quite impressed by their hospitality and service 🎖The have a wide variety of refreshing drinks with unique presentation . Food is quite tasty and quantity is also good . Wonderful place and well planned quite clam and very place to make a home

I visited this hotel as part of my familys trip. We paid some additional charges for the plus one and stayed here for 01 days. Below listed are few highlights from our stay:Reception service is very poor not properly staff,staff like as a guest housebuffet dinner sweet dishes(gulabjamun) provide only once time per membersresturant manager and waiters behaviour are very rudely...Very basic rooms.Torn bedsheets did not create a bery good impression.Torn furniture certainly did not made us happy.. Leaking wash basin - we notified the staff about it within 5 minutes of occupying the room but it was not fixed (and not even looked at) inspite being promised.Old towelsStinking kettle - we could not even use it for hot water.Outside the rooms the ambience of hotel is good.Parking is available.Food is okay although I ordered chilly garlic noodles twice - but both times what i was given was different. Second time they gave me vegetable noodles passing it was chilly garlic. No idea how they managed this.Also, the breakfast was below average both it terms of variety and quality/taste.Room service staff is courteous.Front office staff is not professional and wont accept their mistakes. I called them for wi fi password and was promised a call back. After waiting for 10 minutes i called them back and he argued saying they were calling me (to give him credit i heard the phone ringing in the opposite room). I tried clarifying that they must have called some other room but he refused to accept which is rare for me since in hospitality business staff generally tried to avoid arguments.This hotel was priced higher than other hotels in the same category but could not justify the price. I dont think me or my husband are coming back here

This place has great food and ambience!! Also its a delight to all rooftop fans. The food was amazing, both the starters as well as main course. Also they serve a huge variety of drinks, be it Mocktails, cocktails, coolers or shakes...all very tempting and delectable. A must visit place in Chandigarh 👍👍

Very poor service.Abusive staff at reception counter specially at night. We booked our rooms via phone call and at the time of check in reception person straight away refused for our booking.At the same time he offered a room to someone who has some MP MLA reference and offered him more money. If you are with your family,I prefer to stay away from such hotels in Chandigarh.

First of all these guys take the covid so lightly nobudy in the staff hotel is not wearing mask no sensitiser in the whole property and centralised ac at the time of covid they dont hv fan in the room secondly the staff behaviour is too rufe and non coperative they shud improve the service quality

Only stayed one night during business trip. Experience is pathetic. Service is very poor. Checked in at night 10 PM and had to wait for 30 min due to room key is not properly operational. Room change request also denied by hotel even other rooms are empty. Have to wait again for more than 30 min for room sleepers and toiletries. Mattress was not comfortable. Even food was not good. Staff is saying NO / NOT POSSIBLE to every thing asked for. I do not recommend it to stay again

Tried alot of stuff here, the snacks were amazing, especially the. Drunken pineapple, spring rolls and chicken lollipops.The main course was equally good. Loved the chicken masala and mutton rogan josh.The desserts were amazing aswell. And the staff is very humble and courteous. The whole experience was great and super.Goodluck!

We had to book it due to its accessible location to all over the city, We reached at 1AM to the night & the front desk guy was so slow to process our rooms. He called me to room at 1:45 asking for my mobile number saying that he has to update his records. Rooms were mediocre (No value for money). As soon as i woke up in the morning, some hotel guy came asking for my check out time. They will charge you for water bottles in the room (50rs for a 500ml), Beware of their dirty scams. They are commercial to the core. Only plus is it’s location. Otherwise never opt for it.

It was a good hotel but lately it has dropped its standards. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of bedsheets , faulty bathroom fittings , moderate staff behaviour . But food is very good .

Visited Skylight a few days back. Its such a nice and cozy rooftop. I loved the hospitality here. Food was amazing quality and quantity wise both. So were the drinks. My favorite were cheese spring roll, grilled pineapple, mutton seekh kebab. In main course- patiala shahi chicken, a must try. All in all a must visit place.Goodluck 👍

What an ambiance, what a seating! A perfect place to book for big parties. A delicious taste of food with the best drinks. To my surprise some drinks unknown to me as well. Both Veg as well as Non - Veg items are available in a lot of variety. Some of the best items I had were all the drinks were awesome, chicken tangri, cheese spring roll, mutton rogan josh. The desserts I should say are the best, mouth watering and melting. the cheesecake was the best. And ofcourse cheers to the staff, good service and humble. So this is one of the best places Ive discovered in the Tricity area. A must visit.

Very very nice place

I visited the Skylight Bar at The Fern for lunch a few days back and am very happy with both the quality and quantity of the food delivered. The starters were exceptional, and I loved the cheese and olive balls, and Shahi paneer tikka, and of course the mutton seekh.The main course was okay, it could have been a bit better compared to the amazing starters, but I liked the rara gosht. The cocktails were good, especially the LIIT!

Great experience staying at Fern. It’s around 20/25 mins away from airport and at a decent placed location easily accessible to prime places. The rooms are spacious and the restaurant services decent food. Breakfast is served from 7.30am onwards and has good delicacies. Worth spending and highly recommend this place

It is an affordable stay in the main Industrial area of chandigarh, surrounded by greens and at a few metres biggest mall in chandigarh which is Elante Mall. This residency other than its branches is not that much huge or luxurious. Rooms are little small in compare to other same price hotels, but they clean and hygienic.Room service and Hotel staffs are hospitable. Single night charges for single adult cost around 3500-4000 rupees.

Great rooms...Not as good dining..

Small, comfortable and I got a great deal on GoIbibo, which is what I look for when I travel on work. Itbwas close to my conference venue which is why I had chosen it. Plus: Poached eggs at breakfast in 5 mins, perfectly done, and good coffee. They customed my salad at dinner, which I appreciated. Minus: bath mat was missing but I hope that was an exception and not the rule. Pulled the curtains early morning to see the hills in the distance. Great. Looked downward and saw someones storage yard but the hills made up for it. The mini bar was frugal and can do with improvement but this was good in a way since I feel minibars only do damage from all points of view. Summary: its a yes for me.

Yes good hotel at affordable prices, ambience was good, not very big hotel in aspect of capacity so you will get faster service for every thing but that means the not much services are available and have limited services options, rest all things are fine such as feeod was good not at much expensive as in other hotels. Very near to Chandigarh railway station, location was very good as it was easy to call radio taxi, did not require to guide taxi driver too much about the lanes and turns to be taken to reach at my place. very good engineering done for lift and lift having entry and exit door on both sides front and rear due space constraints and it is running with the same logic as used in metro rail door openings

Really cozy hotel, with good looking interiors, they have three different restaurants serving different kinds of food. I had their breakfast buffet which was amazing. A lot of options and the chefs delicacies were just very well prepared.

Every thing was fine over there. I stayed over there and stay was very comfortable. Hotel is value for money. Service and all are completely fine. I had my food over there and the food was also nice. Hotel is located at a perfect location. There was a comfortable check in and check out. Nice accommodation and hospitality was there. Regarding cleanliness its a very neat and clean.

Very Poor Staff and No cooperation from a so-called 3 Star Hotel.The staff was not cooperative at all, for a simple request of mine. I requested to checkin early, due to my early arrival and extremely cold weather after a 9 hours long journey. But the Front Office guy was watching movies and charged me half a days charge as I was requesting early checkin at 9 am, but the hotel timings were from 2 pm.Very bad experience, would never opt this one.

The service and the the staff behaviour is excellent. The food is sumptuous and tastes the same, every time. The overall experience was great.

Best hotel and all staff

This hotel have very good location and had smooth check inn as well as check out. The room was of good quality and decent size with neat & clean. The service quality was very good and quick. I have taken soup and Chicken Tikka where the Soup was not of great taste but Tikka was good. The internet was bit slow in comparison of today fast speed

Recently had a family event there. Entire experience was superb. Whatever was promised was delivered and each one went beyond call of duty. Each food item was served hot and was quite delicious. Not even a single complaint I had during the event.

Buffet lunch is good and nice dining place... have lots of corporate meetings.. Good Co operating staff... Overall deserve 4 star because have stay once there not regular... However attends meeting every month

Brilliant! I am a frequent traveller and rate this hotel as best value for money hotel. We stayed at Lalit chandigarh for 5 days and then moved to manali. While returning we booked our room in fern and must admit that it was a best relaxing experince after one weeks leh trip.For what i payed... I rate this as superb experince. Everything cleanliness, staff and facilities were beyond expectation against what i payed. Breakfast was also justified to the costing. Would definitely rate this as best value for money hotel.

My husband and I made a stay for 2 nights in November 2019 and housekeeping was a big issue. The housekeeping did not clean the rooms on any of the days and we had to ask for basic toiletries on Day 1. We left the room n the afternoon for a local site visit to the town and upon return, there were wet smelling towels on the floor, dustbins not cleaned and unmade bed in the room. When we complained to the manager the next morning and room was checked, we realized that the area below the bed was not cleaned for almost a month with empty water bottles, tissues and dust below the bed. Concerning the food at the restaurant, there were only canned fruits instead of fresh ones and the live kitchen also has one or two options like dosa and eggs with no fresh juice. Overall, a very small buffet section. The hotel is not at all lively and would especially not recommend for couples or families who are looking at having a fun and lively time out of the home. The matter was reported to the management at checkout and all they could do is apologize. Please think twice if you are booking this accommodation for either professional or personal reasons.
