Been here many times. Always good service in the evenings, but the other day we went during the day and I ordered my usual raspberry lemonade. It tasted and looked like water. I asked told them it didnt taste like the lemonade I usually order and they tried to explain me that my raspberry lemonade taste like this and if I wanted something sweeter I should have ordered something else. Not the best experience when you feel judged for asking for a quality product.

Cool and relaxed coffee shop with a good vibe. Good food, excellent drinks, quality coffee with very competent service. The staff speaks good English and are very helpful. Highly recommended!

I have been searching for good Mexican food in Bishkek. This place comes close. The nachos were the best in my opinion. The tacos were a bit bland. The ingredients were fresh and the salsa was a good pico de gallo. Patio is nice and calm. Waiters were nice.

Lovely coffee place near the big square in Bishkek. It has a pretty big terrace with quite some tables.We were not sure if there was table service, so after 5 minutes of waiting we decided to go inside to order.The coffee was really delicious and the cake as well.Prices are on the higher side compared to other places though.

Good place to have a breakfast or brunch. Full of young people who enjoys a cafe while reading or studying. This is much better than Starbucks. Price is reasonable and staff helps you a lot.

Nice café with all the good things including beer and vegetarian food. The salad is absolutely amazing. I think it was called balsamico rucola

A beer & a cesar salad for $5 is hard to beat. This is a super international cafe with all what you would expect from a high quality one in Europe. The service was great & food was super tasty.Be mindful if you are a big group it may be difficult to get a table as it gets very busy.The take card payments here.

Its the warm welcome that stands out at first. Smiling faces, happy voices and genuine helpful attitude. The cafe probably lacks some fresh pastry, but the hospitable atmosphere compensates all other cons.

My girlfriend and I went here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and standard of this restaurant / cafe! The menus are in English, some of the staff speaks English as well and there’s lots of vegetarian, and even some vegan options.I ordered a spring salad, and asked for ‘no cheese’ but still got some white cheese on top. So if you are lactose intolerant or prefer not to eat any animal products, try to find a member of staff with sufficient English to understand you. Unfortunately I did bite on a little piece of plastic in my salad (photo) and although it’s difficult to go about this sort of issue, I think they should pay a bit more attention during the preparation.The carrot cake was put in a lot of plastic, and after requesting for it to be on a plate, the plastic was thrown away. PLEASE pay attention to plastic waste, and I recommend for the staff to reduce it significantly, seeing that Kyrgyzstan doesn’t have any recycling facilities.Otherwise, delicious carrot cake and espresso (so far the best (and most expensive) espresso I’ve had in Kyrgyzstan, plus a good wifi connection and corner with couches for a comfy work atmosphere. Also, the bike racks outside to lock your bicycle seem safe, and it’s a very thoughtful addition to the cafe.Highly recommended cafe in Bishkek!

Good place for the ex-pat community in Bishkek. Always an English speaking staff member here and usually an native English patron inside. Staff is friendly, menus are in English and great food. The pancakes are just like what you would find back in America. Good choice.

Having heard about this company from business associates and with a few hours spare I walked up to take a look and have a light supper. Set back from the road there is plenty of outside shaded seating. The wifi worked as well outside as in. Inside was a variety of seating and the counter. There seemed to be a good variety of western burger style and local dishes all at a very reasonable price. My selection cost SOM416 (about $6) and was made fresh just for me after a bit of a wait (20 mins). Clientele? On sunday night it felt like 95% locals in their late teens or 20s, many of whom were chatting animatedly or using the wifi, so it was a good atmosphere. The staff seemed competent despite English not being commonly spoken around here. The loos were clean and had a baby change mat and shelf, but I doubt a wheelchair would get in. For that reason alone I could only grade this 9.5 out of 10, so yes next time I have time out here I would return and chill out!

Best coffee I’ve found in Kyrgyzstan. Good cakes as well. Medium prices and high quality makes for a good value. Clean and modern. Only downside (for some) is that there’s no table service, only ordering at the bar. I don’t mind. Several members of the staff speak English, which is rare.

Great coffee! They have great espresso drinks as well as bottomless coffee. They also have a lot of good breakfast and lunch options. Make sure if you stay for a while to get a card. Every 6 drinks you get one free.

An amazing place for internationals and locals. Great all-day breakfasts, delicious cakes, and really cozy atmosphere. Usually I would go there on a Saturday morning with my family to just hang out or with my friends to eat a cake or donut. The staff can speak multiple languages, and are very kind. Very good place to bring kids.

It is amazing place to visit. If you would like to just take a pleasure and taste good coffee you can go to Sierra. And it is also very good point for meeting friends or discussions of your ideas.

Sierra is in a prime location, right in the heart of the city. Great for coming anytime of the day, for a meal or coffee or for all sorts of work related or personal appointments. My favorite dishes in this place are the Cesar wrap and the big breakfast. I tell people that the big breakfast takes me through the day without a need for lunch or even dinner sometimes, that’s how filling and rich it is.

Clean,quiet and good place to have American food with good price. Best thing to order is smoothies and sandwiches. Plus the nice deserts they offer is perfect. Its the best place to enjoy alone, with friends and family.Remember to take a look if you had a chance to visit bishkek

This is where all the expats and students who want to practice their foreign languages hang out. More than a coffee shop, Sierra had become an known as the place to meet, to hang out, and to enjoy good coffee or soup and salad. Always packed but the staff is always cheerful and welcoming. Its also helpful that ordering can be done in English.

I was in Kyrgyzstan for about two weeks, and its no fluke I came to this same spot 10+ times. The breakfast is what they do best, and its super cheap to boot. A great hangout spot with fast wifi, great level of English, and my favorite joint in Bishkek!

I stopped going to Sierra for lunch a long time ago because of the crazy wait times. Colleagues convinced me to try it again and I ordered a simple soup and salad for lunch. After waiting 30 minutes for my food (and watching everyone else at the table eat their meals) I asked two different servers where my food was. They promised it was coming. After waiting for a total of 40 minutes, on the verge of being late for work, I went inside to ask them to pack my lunch to-go. They then told me that they didnt have the ingredients for my soup, but also didnt have time to come tell me. Not sure why the servers couldnt come tell me this. I got the salad packed up, but noticed that there was bacon in it, which I cant eat - be aware. Yet again Ive had a bad lunchtime experience at Sierra and I left hungry and late for work.

Great soups and salads for lunch. You can order half portions if you want. But coffee is really what makes this place to stand out among other coffee shops in town. Poor over is the best. You can buy fresh roasted beans as they roast their beans themselves.

One of my most favourite places in Bishkek for good coffee, good people and good atmosphere. Just recently they started working 24 hours per day. I like the workers here, they make you feel home. By the way, I myself worked here for about 6 months of my life.

In addition to the excellent coffee, Sierra offers the laid back ambience of a western cafe, and fast, free WiFi, and serves a variety of snacks and light meals. There are many vegetarian and vegan choices--a rarity in Bishkek. It is my favorite place to hang out in the capital.

A go to place for coffee, western style food, and just to relax and chill. Prices are high for the typical local, but overall quality and customer service is great and well worth it. Wifi and plenty of outlets

It was so nice to have a slice of America. Didnt try the food, of course the coffee was great (you know it wasnt instant, so), and WiFi was fast. I really enjoyed that this wasnt a mimic of an American coffee shop but actually legitimately felt like one.
