Guys, you must have the caramel baked cheesecake here. Its the best in the world...even compared to the US, Dubai, Cheesecake factory, etc. Perfectly sweet, very dense, and it fills you well. Worth it.Had the chicken pepper steak too. The portion is soo big here. Super ambience, polite staff. Great job.

Nice ambience. Good food. Good service. Rush hours are mostly on weekends afternoon time. So book your table prior to visiting the place. Otherwise they have an alfresco area for sitting as well.

As In m fan of their interior work , alot of prizes mark of excellence but my order went wrong, I ordered tiramisu as I ate it before too but this time m not happy with flavor, I know they prepare it fresh, still not good enough. Ah! Came across this gem of a place on my recent visit to Chandigarh. A place for travellers and wanderlust. From there food, to the ambience, everything pointed towards the traveller in you. From there shakes, to the simple black coffee and the sandwiches and the plates, everything was promising. We spent a lot of time here chatting and hogging on to the food. They even had Christmas special preparations. Everything was nice here. The waiting staff were quite fast paced and had served us well. The orders were taken quickly as this place holds the name backpackers. A really nice place to hangout with friends and loved ones and especially the ones who love to travel.

We tried the Chicken Lasagna and iced caffe latte . Chicken lasagna was great in all senses be it portion, taste or flavour. The quantity is good for two to three people and tastes amazing, a must try from my side. Iced caffe latte on the other hand is also good to have as a side beverage. The coffee tasted good and was also good in portion.

Earlier was confused between Starbucks and Backpackers, I’m not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee, but you know because being a ‘Brand’ Starbucks always outclass others. But honestly speaking I actually enjoyed my time at Backpackers!! Food and coffee was amazing, they serve Beer and Wine too, if you have some annoying friend who can’t tolerate coffee lol. Ambiance and crowd was great!!

Did they also charge you double???? First on credit card saying transaction has failed when in actual our money was deducted from the card then asking for cash for so called failed transaction. Claiming they have poor network and if the money is not returned they will pay us back. Guess what - The money never returned and now they arent cooperating either. They make false promises and this is their new way of robbing people of their hard earned money. Owner - I hope you are seeing this. Your manager is one rude old man with no etiquettes and you need to stop keeping faulty machines.

One of the classic cafes of Chandigarh, Backpackers cafe stands for quality food, cozy ambience and reliable service. We visited the branch in Elante Mall for a brunch. The food is always good in quality, quantity and taste even though it fails to have a wow effect. Its one of those places you can always fall back on when nothing else comes to mind. Their chocolate fondue is a must try!

One of my favourite place for filling my tummy with good food. But this time experience turned out to be pathetic. I returned bombay vada which was tasteless and received club sandwiches which were even more pathetic.Bad to see such big name has gone down in standards.

One of the best cafes in Chandigarh, Backpackers Cafe offers an all-encompassing variety of exquisite dishes. The burgers are a must try here. We had chicken tikka salad, the ultimate lamb and cheese burger and smoothies. They have named their smoothies after famous cities across the world which makes one curious. The food served is a bit expensive but the quantity justifies it. The taste and quality of the food served is excellent.The ambience of the cafe is good. One can come here to spend some time with friends and family. The staff is also good. Overall a very good cafe.

Back packers as the name suggest this is the best place if wanna explore your taste in food. So far, the best pancakes i have ever tasted are from their kitchen. Veg Lasagna is truly filled with vegetables and its mouth-watering. Even while typing this review i had an imprint of the taste. Overall experience was good slightly disappointed with their coffee, but its okay everybody have their own taste when it comes to coffee.

Was here for a “quick on the go” kind of late lunch and ordered a club sandwich and baked mushroom cake along with a pineapple juice (fresh) and a cold coffee.. loved the ambience of the place. My first visit and came with high recommendations. However the club sandwich was just about ok. Fell in love with the mushroom caps. Will definitely come back here to try more food sometime. Settled a bill of about 1250+ for this meal.. do try this happy place :)

On dec 20th at Elante, i order coffee and while paying via credit card, these guys claimed that the transaction did not go through as they are facing some issues with their machine and asked me to try agin. After 2 failed attempts, they asked me to pay via cash, and i did. Meanwhile i got a message that my payment went through and when I showed the message to these guys, he said they won’t claim it and did not return cash.Now, i see charge on my credit card. What is going on??? There is no contact number to reach these guys.. totally disappointed and annoyed. Recently had a official visit and Back Packers never disappoints you. Go there enjoy the ambience and food and relax and chill.

Today after a month, was looking forward to a sumptuous meal at Back Packers cafe, elante . Unfortunately, unlike their reputation, the Pene pasta ( Non Veg) take away which I ordered was pathetic, least to say.There was hardly any Pesto sauce, Chicken tasted stale and so dry.. May be it was a take away, took me for guaranteed.. Wake up call...

Ive usually been to the cafe in sector 9 which was always good. Unfortunately, all three smoothies we ordered were awful even Tokyo that was my favorite. Everything we ordered was below average, however the service was good. The chicken steak was dry, the cottage cheese steak was doused in a ghastly tomato sauce, the bolognaise was a fright. Im saddened since I always look forward to this restaurant.

Went to Chandigarh after a long time, expecting the old wine( read nomad cafe) in new bottle - but I guess the ambience felt too mall type. Anyways things change - sureway more accessible now

Good place but it is small and always crowded. We tried mix sauce pasta which was okaish, nothing special, Crapese sandwich which was more of a veg hot dog, not worth it at all. The drinks stood out, mix berry shake and chocolate shake were highlights of the day. So better places to go in Chandigarh!

It is a nice cafe with variety of dishes I loved the soup it was the soup of the day and actually it was too yummmm and I had pizza so that was actually very nice thin crispy crust with delicious topping and a proper blend of everything which is require in italian cuisine😊😊

I found a cockroach in their fully loaded salad and the staff was unapologetic about this disgusting mistake. Big NO NO!! for this restaurant. Everybody please do check your food before taking a bite.Worst experience!!!!

Always loved the masala omelette and quiches here. The decor is very pleasant and the staffs always so nice. One of the places I look forward to visiting every year.

Such a pathetic and disgusting experience , such a disheartening behaviour by Back Packers Cafe at Elate mall.I have already visited this cafe at elante mall several time before but have never seen such a pathetic behaviour by the staff as well as the manager before.I visited this cafe this Sunday evening and settled and it was almost 8-9 minutes after that a waiter arrived that too on calling him and i just asked him that please serve water in the meanwhile I decide the order for myself and the family i was with my niece and the waiter replied sir we only serve the water after u place the order which was really a pathetic reply n a disheartening reply from that guy.If someone has visited ur cafe and he/ she is thirsty so you will not serve the water until and unless the person orders something?? Whereas whenever a person enters any restaurant any cafe any dine in area water is the very first thing wich has to be served to the customer but this kind of behaviour was unexpected from Back Packers cafe.I asked him to call the manager n i asked him is it like you don’t serve the water until the person first orders and he said yes sir we don’t. I explained him that as per the Law no hotel no restaurant no cafe can refuse the customer for water n use of washroom he said yes sir I know but m sorry our cafe rule is that we don’t serve water until you order something this is really unexpected as I myself m a Hotelier and running a Hotel in Shimla from decades. But never seen such a behaviour from a hospitality industry despite of telling him that I come from the same industry and he cannot refuse for water and use of washroom to anyone and though i went there to obviously eat something but now in future I won’t ever enter such kind of pathetic cafe of the tricity.I recommend everyone not to visit such pathetic cafe’s who are earning high but Don’t have basic courtesy how to treat the customer n on top of that such a rude behaviour.Disgusting disgusting disgusting!!!!

Backpacker’s is on the ground floor of the Upscale Elante Mall. It is mostly thronged by foreigners and their all-day breakfast menu is extremely popular but over priced . The omelettes here are delicious and they come with a variety of fillings. Attractive Ambiance but dont like their outdated tiny tables.
