Shosha cafe and bar is based on retro theme and made in a unique way giving a fresh and ambient vibe. Really liked the concept, art work, music dj & Creative Interior everything is perfect. This is the best place for selfie lovers. Overall its a nice place to spend some quality time. Although they can do better with their menu and food.

No good. For food , the value is way more than it deserves , the ambiance is alryt. But Chandigarh have much better places than this. Check around youll get better places to be at.

The city was fully sold out in terms of hotels because of the Ophthalmology conference held at Nakshatra- Brilliant Convention Center.We had a few friends visiting home and also attending the same conference. We wanted to take them out to some place nice for dinner , somehow we had all decided to visit this new place ShoSha which no one had been to before.Location: The venue is not very posh or upscale or very safe either but because of the newly opened hotel “WOW” nearby ,ShoSha is getting attention and is attracting some crowd. On our visit unfortunately the place was crowded because of the valentines day celebration and we had to book a table by paying a cover of 25k. We were a larger group of people (13 total - some couples and 2-3 stags) of which some reached earlier than us. We reached the venue at approx. 11:15pm. In between food service, the waiter serving our table demanded for additional advance to continue serving for which I paid 5k in cash. Suddenly the place was shut down before midnight and we were informed that the police has forced them to do so. Surprisingly they had no permits to run post midnight or play any music, of the 30k we had already paid we could barely enjoy and it seemed too early to shut the place without any prior information from ShoSha’s management. Instead of refunding us they over-charged us with a bill of 35k which had a lot of irregularities and asked us to pay an additional 15k. On informing about the advance payments that we had already made , the waiter denied receipt of the 5k given in between service.They had more than 15-20 bouncers on their staff who were not courteous at all and kept bossing over people to push them out of the restaurant asap.We had paid all the dues and insisted for a copy of the bill which was not provided for long even after multiple requests. It took a very long time for them to provide the bill and in this entire process all the bouncers were standing over our heads. The staff also shut the lights of the whole place to push us out and the whole experience was horrifying since we had females along.Waiting family members and friends outside the restaurant were all getting agitated of this whole ruckus and chaos created by the staff. When my brother insisted on coming indoor to understand the delay, he was hit by one of the bouncer staff who chased him all the way inside. When I disapproved of the restaurant’s staff and management about their unruly behaviour , the same bouncer who hit my brother , stabbed me multiple times on my hand with a wine glass which caused heavy blood loss, and I had to be rushed to an emergency.I had a major surgery for foreign object removal from my hand. The assault was so grievous that the tendons of my hand were torn apart and had to be repaired via surgery.No restaurants give their security staff this liberty to hit their guests in any manner or even hires any staff who have such criminal/psychotic behaviour.Even after the incident the restaurant did not help a bit, rather they pushed us all out and closed their doors behind us. No action has been taken against the bouncer by their management- highly unsafe place and would not recommend it to anyone.

Its an OK place. went to see cricket match there with my friends. There is a half roof which displays TV on projector on large screen. however food needs improvement
