Myself and son stopped at Town Square bar for bit of food and it didnt disappoint. Bar food menu was simple clean and all sounded very appealing. Staff was very courteous abd very helpful. The food came quickly and the food was very well presented and tasted great. Both our plates was empty. We def be back.

Good food and friendly staff but they were having an off day. We ordered 4 breakfast but 5 turned up, and we were charged for 5. Then our pregnant friend asked for scrambled eggs instead of poached but they couldnt do it. Never heard of a breakfast place not able to do scrambled eggs. She asked if that can be swapped for bacon, they said yes but then charged us £2 extra. For some reason eggs from all the dishes were removed even though only 1 of us was pregnant. Food in general tasted really good. They have some good outdoor seating as well.Note to owner: Ask staff to repeat the order to a customer and please get someone to make some scrambled eggs, its not that hard.

Good food and staff are super friendly helpful and attentive. Always busy which says alot. The outside eating/drinking area is managed so well and a great atmosphere. The big burger is something else! I would definitely recommend here

We went to Belfast for a quick getaway and were really impressed with this place. Tasty good quality food, yummy delicious cocktails and good prices. We ended up going back. All staff were lovely and professional. We would like to mention Shiv. He served us on our last day in Belfast and he was super nice and friendly. We will come back for sure. Gotta to try all the items on menu!

Nice bar allowing walk in customers at a time that so many bars in Belfast treat you like a criminal for daring to show up without a booking. Excellent staff as well, good service and cold beer.

Girls night out and we had the best time! Two staff members named Scott and Janice were the best, fun, friendly and excellent service with our table. Definitely we will be back!

Unfortunately my friends and I had quite a bad night here recently. We were out for our friends 25th birthday and the beginning of the night was actually quite fun. However, one particular security guard kept picking on our group. He kept telling us to keep the noise down even though it was hard to hear one another in the restaurant because it was busy. He also asked two of my friends (approximately two hours after we got there) to cover their arms as they had sleeve tattoos. We asked staff for his name so we could make a formal complaint but were told that they could not provide us with this information. I am very disappointed as I had been here a few years ago for dinner and I had such a good time, but unfortunately none of us will be back.

Tasty food but servers a little too interested in chatting at the front and not taking orders promptly. But still worth the wait and good cocktails, although ever so slightly overpriced for the area.

Delicious breakfast and yummy hot chocolate! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Love the character of the place and its decor! We’ll be back for sure on our next visit to Belfast. BYW: it is just opposite the Botanic train station. So if you want to grab a bite before getting on the train, this is the ideal place!

Their coffee is actually so nice! Highly recommended. I ordered an avacado and scrambled egg sandwich which was really yummy. The place has a nice vibe to it as well and the staff is also very good.

Food was ok, not fantastic. £2 extra to add bacon to an already expensive dish... One slice of bacon.Id say we were waiting about 40 minutes to try and order food, Everytime made rye contact even raised a hand at staff they just looked the other way, kept walking the other side of the restaurant too. Really just terrible service.Menu fairly limited but to be honest it was just the poor service. Wouldnt be pushed to return.

Restricted drinks list. Bar opens at 4pm... Advertises craft beer but none on the drinks list. Seems a bit mad.If you use an apple mac youll fit in well. More beards than university challenge.

I was absolutely disgusted at the attitude of a young girl with a large undercut who seemed to have a supervisor role and the way she spoke to someone who was serving us our drinks. She humiliated the young Asian girl in front of us by correcting something that she done that didnt even need to be corrected and made everyone at the table extremely uncomfortable. I really hope this young girl will be reprimanded as it was done in such a horrible, bullying tone.

Even I would say this is more a restaurant rather than a specialist coffee shop, they do have very good barista doing great coffee.The coffee is rich bodied, just the right thickness to go with their dark coloured industrial interior design, pretty well matched. The barista obviously knows what hes doing and very knowledgeable when talking about roasters in Ireland.The food is quite universal, very tasty. Good place for an early breakfast when its quiet, or getting yourself warmed up in a cold rainy day. However I can imagine it becomes busy for lunch or dinner.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the service at town centre. Our drink orders were incorrect and when asked for our correct drinks we received a really rude response and unwillingness from the staff to cooperate.Our server didnt follow up with us after serving our food and when we tried to order additional items we were ignored. Very disappointing and wouldnt reccomened to a friend.

My first visit to Town Square was during this strange pandemic so I wasnt quite sure what to expect. I had met up with friends for lunch and it was one of their recommendations, it certainly didnt disappoint. My only minor grip was the lunch menu selection isnt very big, but that can be forgiven in this strange times and I easily found a few things that looked tasty and wow, the Town Square Bap was awesome. Looking forward to Town Square reopening for Christmas.

The best place for gin cocktails. They have a fantastic selection! The music is also great. Good place to chill and have a nice drink. The only mad thing is the bar staff usually ignore the left side of the bar a lot. Half an hour wait for a drink one. And it wasn’t even that busy. On a night wen you get served fast it’s great!

Here for the Boundary Brewery evening and was top class. Great hosting by the guys from the brewery and then more specifically for here also by the marketing manager who was accommodating for the food, water and glasses 👍

If youre looking for a second drink in here expect to wait about an hour before you get it. Unless youve just arrived it takes a massive amount of time before you get drinks but, of course... they take payment as soon as you order.

Only went to the cafe part, very fancy nice atmosphere. We got the smores for two which was cool. The prices were a bit higher than a regular coffee shop though

We decided to call in at 8pm for a quick drink before heading out for dinner at 9pm. The decor is nice and clean. The door men are friendly and helpful. The drinks menu takes 5minutes to look at as it is more of a book which is a lovely feature. The down side is that after waiting for 10 minutes for the girl to make 1 gin and tonic for the customer in front of me, I was then told that she didnt know how to make cocktails and I would have to wait for the mixologist to take my order. By this time he had taken two other orders from people who had came after me. She said she would take my order and bring it down. 20 minutes later our drinks arrived. She did apologise to us for keeping us waiting but the place was quiet.Overall a nice place, okay if you are there for the night and dont mind waiting. However not the place to pop in for a pre dinner drink unless you want a pint or a glass of wine.

Was only in for about 2 hours. Great atmosphere and lovely bartenders and door staff. Only in for drinks no food, so no idea what that is like. The drinks though were great and such a variety. Also they were well priced. £6 for a cocktail, thats brilliant. Would definitely go back.

Lovely breakfast, thankfully open on Easter Monday! Very tasty and filling, decent price for amount of food. Oh, and they have WiFi if you don’t want to talk to your table mate, or you don’t have data and need to plan your drive.

Three friends and I went for breakfast during the week. The coffee was fantastic and reasonably priced for the quality.However, the food, while not mind blowing, was ok. The portions as can be seen were small and my Shakshuka costing £5.50 came with an overcooked egg and was a bit boring.Other friends had luck with the avocado toast. One of my friends had a little trouble with a fly in their tea and they had to ask for a fresh cup, not even a new pot of tea.TLDR: ok, bit overpriced. Solid coffee.

This place is magic. The atmosphere and decor had me from the start. We popped in for a coffee (served in Chemex) and pastries. Enjoyed our relaxing morning. Will definitely be back for brunch or late night snacks!

Food was good and service was good. I enjoyed the ambience but both my partner and I agreed that the toilets both male and female let the restaurant down. There was a very strong smell of urine which in any restaurant is a bad sign. If the toilets were cleaned up, then the restaurant would get a five star from us both.

Service a little slow. Asked for a Chemex coffee. No Chemex filters but still charged for Chemex.

Definitely a good place for a breakfast! Quite hearty, but very tasty classic breakfast, good tea and atmosphere there is really cool :)

Slowest service ever

Was there for lunch with friends couple of times. Lunch menu selection is not very big, but I found couple of things I like. My favourite - the seafood chowder is amazing.

Nice Cosy atmosphere! The potato hash I got was incredible! Orange hot chocolate was so good!

Really poor experience here tonight. We were told to sit on the picnic bench in the middle because no other tables were free ... which is totally fine because we hadn’t booked, however several tables were free around us for the entire time we were there (almost 2 hours). Also, had to wait almost an hour for dessert before asking a waitress where it was ... the waiter we ordered it with told us he had forgot to put in the order. But the worst thing about this (and any restaurant) is the staff standing idle chatting or on their phones ... they would have noticed our long wait if they were more attentive. In my opinion the waiters really make a restaurant however I think the service here is quite poor. Very disappointed with this tonight.

Stopped in for breakfast last week. It was tasty and fresh. My husband and I both loved what we ordered. I had the Smashed Avocado on Sourdough. It had a poached egg with garlic, feta (or some kind of soft cheese), sunflower seeds, and pea sprouts. Perfect!

Great place to grab coffee (and a bite to eat!) and just chill in the midst of a buzzing Belfast. Its well located up near Queens university, and although there is a lot of competition for places to eat and drink in the area this place stands out. Very nice menu and is a pleasant place to sit and enjoy your surroundings. Top marks all round for coffee, the food and the atmosphere!

The food is great here. Love the breakfasts especially the sourdough with eggs and bacon. Great lunch menu of a little bit pricey but always good for a treat on payday.

Waited too long for our food, and could barely get the attention of the waiters. Considering my starter was just soup, it could have arrived earlier than 30 minutes. I understand it was busy, but restaurants are always busy and its not an excuse for an inefficient kitchen, and inattentive staff. The soup was good, the burger sub par. Interior decor is very tasteful, and cozy to be in however. The only positive.

Really love coming here for food. The food is 7/10 but the chilled atmosphere makes it worthwhile to visit. A good food selection at a reasonable price and an extensive drinks selection. Their adjoining gin bar looks lovely too.

I’m sure this place is great, the atmosphere is lovely, but when you go in and order 4 things off of their menu and then them come back to you 4 different times to tell you they don’t have that in. It doesn’t make you enjoy your visit very much. If you don’t have it, don’t have it on the menu. But if you don’t have this problem I’m sure you’ll have lovely time!

This is more a review of their Nachos than anything else, theyre so close to perfect 👌 that I can taste it.Im a big fan of Nachos in general and am looking for something to rival Hard Rock Cafes. Having been all over America trying to find, little did I know the biggest rival would be found so close to home.They make a couple of unusual choices that somehow work.Instead of salsa they put on some kind of ranch dressing and compliment that with a garnish. Im not sure what is but it works so well.If they would just consider a bit more melted cheese and some guacamole it would take the Nachos to 10/10.

Great bar, great prices and student discount. Very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere, my one compaint is overly loud music at the weekends. Weeknights are perfectly fine. The bar has no dance floor and doesnt seem intended to be a club of any sort, so I cant understand the loud music, it adds nothing and just prevents you from having any kind of civilised conversations without shouting. I drink here very regularly but more often than not we leave now after one drink due to the music being overly loud.

Couldnt tell the difference between the latte and cappicino and both were luke warm. Waited an half hour on our food and when it did arrive it resembled a microwave dinner. Couldnt eat it as the vegetables were all cut up as if for children and the carrots where uncut didnt know potatoes from parsnip. Gravy had split and was disgusting. Would not recommend to anyone and will never be back waste of money.

Very bad service. We had to wait for more than 15 minutes to even get the coffees. We ordered a filter coffee and what they brought seemed like rotten coke instead. Overpriced for the quality of the food, quite tasteless. Not even water to the table. We were starving and had to wait for the food for like 25 minites. Waitress did apologized and mentioned oven was broken. Run out of croissants and scones at 1pm on a Sunday - well... Go get more? Quite disappointing.

Friendly staff and a great environment!

My favourite place for coffee in Belfast. They are extremely consistant with their house filter and their service is always great. Food selection isnt great and their fry seems very expensive for what you get. Bun selection could also be better. Overall its an excellent spot.

Reasonable price vegan option that I had was very tasty. The restaurant itself is cosy and comfortable, the music playing is not too intrusive and the staff are pleasant and efficient. My compliments to the chef.
