Nice location, central but not too hectic. Friendly staff, well spaced out (not the staff). Service was quick and efficient. So happy to be able to sit in doors again.

Right on the corner of Royal Avenue close to Castlecourt and Belfast. There’s a snook Just round the corner from the check out area which is ideal for meetings. Also home to my favourite: high back chairs - one of which is covered in tartan. I have the caffe Nero app so get 1 free coffee gifted to me once I’ve scanned 10 purchases on the app. I also use my free o2 priority app - as a customer of o2 I get one free hot drink (while stocks last) nearly every Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon - you even get loyalty stamps for your free coffee which I find really overgenerous. My latest visit 7 May 2019 I was delighted to see luxury, award winning NI food: Clandeboye yogurt available to buy.

The member of the staff that was assisting me had the attitude of someone who thought they were above working in a cafe and the competence of someone who had never worked in one before. I’m sure it’s nothing wrong with the chain but I won’t be returning to this location again purely because I wouldn’t want to order from her again.Also my sandwich that was supposed to be toasted was hardly warm with the cheese still very much Un-melted.

It seems that all cafe Neros suffer with similar issues. Whole I cannot fault the coffee, the premises look a little dated and in need of a refurb. Just my thoughts.

Whether you are sitting in or grabbing a coffee to go, this is hands down the best coffee in town - strong, flavourism, not bitter like Starbucks and closest to a real Italian blend. This particular outlet has friendly, helpful staff but its not the fastest service in the world given Neros persistent understaffing (usually 2 staff serving, making coffee, hot food, clearing tables and washing dishes). Just as well their coffee is so good! Oh and look out for their amazing sausage rolls - absolutely delicious. 👍

Super nice guy serving us today, not sure of his name but hes at uni and was absolutely wonderful, very helpful and made the whole experience even better. The place was super clean and very cosy.

There are a lot of Caffe Neroes around Belfast, but this ones my favourite. The staff here are fantastic. I just wish it didnt close so early!

Incredibly poor service from the woman and man on shift this morning.I knew the woman was bad from previous experience. Patronising and fake attitude towards everyone she serves.Both extremely ignorant, surprising to see people with such attitudes employed to be the face of what is quite a decent coffee chain.I wont be back.

Very poor in general. Coffee was tiny for the price and not overly warm. Terrible selection of traybakes and cakes which looked like they had been sat there for several days. Opted for a slice in packaging and it was stale. 1st and last experience,Will def be trying somewhere else next time!

Quiet, out of the road coffee shop however the tables werent cleared, the floors where very dirly and although the staff where attentive, they where run off their feet. Place is under staffed

Went here with my partner today (18th October 2018). was enjoying the coffee when what I can only presume was an area manager of sorts decided to sit one of the young staff members down & discipline him in front of the entire shop. opening a laptop & chastising him about his performance as a worker while us customers watched & listened as the young fella got redder & redder with embarrassment. we just got up & left.is this how Café Nero treat their staff???absolutely disgusting, unprofessional behaviour. the least she could have done was bring the wee lad somewhere private to discipline him...Ill be taking my business elsewhere in future, & also will be lodging a formal complaint with the company.
