In recent times the staff here have changed and it has unfortunately been for the worse. The new staff are quite rude, not speaking to the customers except to tell them a price. Im glad to see that they all appear to get along well as its great to have nice coworkers, but its a real shame when they appear visibly irritated by you interrupting their conversation to ask if you can order a coffee after waiting at the counter. The coffee remains the same, decent, and the shop itself is a nice one.
Compared to other Caffè neros( which I generally love) I was not impressed. I couldnt find a table which was cleared. I had to ask for a new tea as the batista had put milk in mine without asking( I take mine black) She made me feel like an inconvenience for asking again as she was so busy chatting. Its a lovely cafe and Ive met some lovely staff there before but currently not up to par. Sept 21.
I always get great service in this shop. And for such a busy place its very clean. Staff work hard and are very warm and friendly. I highly recommend this shop for Caffè Nero/coffee addicts. Coffee, for a massive franchise is excellent.
My fave coffee shop, first time back since lockdown, Plenty of seats outside and in, great views in a busy area, great for people watching, chilling out or just sitting in a daze. Much needed therapy for those aching limbs and calmness in a busy city centre. Highly recommended, friendly professional staff with a sense of humour😊😊😊😊🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞❤️
Nice coffee shop with a great atmosphere. Perfect alternative to Starbucks
Quick service plenty of people in no queuing tables uncleared though
Was I this coffee shop yesterday. The girl who worked there. Needs to bush up on customer satisfaction . Rude or stupid. Hard to work out.
Staff were a bit grumpy. The inside could do with a good clean. The coffee wasnt very nice. This is usually a great place. ☹️
Great team. Cheery, good humoured & lovely to go into. Great choice of coffees & snacks 😋
Great place to relax watch the world go by and enjoy a really good coffee and the girls who work there just cant do enough for you
Best coffee shops in Belfast n place I meet with my friends n family x once a wk xx
Plenty of room inside tables well apart.
Love this coffee, I get a salted caramel latte and its a lovely treat!
Quite busy but the coffee is good
I stopped going for awhile because the person who made my drinks wasnt doing a great job(very watery). The red haired woman who works there now is excellent, specifically she serves customers very fast despite being on her own in the shop. My hot chocolate is always great.
Tasty cakes, spacious. Sometimes tables isnt cleaned instantly.
Had a nice tea and cake here. It was great . Also great service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will go back
Pleasant cafe, One thing I dont like about this place is the fact you have to walk through the smokers to enter the shop. Definitely a no no. As a non-smoker for this past 11 years, to me its not a great impression.
Chai latte with cinnamon, and very good. Sausage and bacon roll with brown sauce. Great server.
This place is inconsistent. You can go in and get fabulous service and amazing coffee, or the service can be brilliant and the coffee blegh. Or the sevice can be indifferent and the coffee heavenly. Or both service and coffee can be sub par. I approach with hope and most days am not disappointed. If you enjoy rolling the dice and taking a gamble go. Enjoy the lure of the unknown. And some coffee
Extremely tired looking cafe. Long overdue a new look. Its a throwback to a decade ago.
Very friendly and informative staff
Tasty for less money
Good coffee, friendly service and value for money. A great opportunity to take the weight off your feet and relax after some serious retail therapy.
Lovely and cosy place
Had lovely service, she was so polite and seemed to really enjoy her job and engaging with people. Lovely frappes too 😁
Good coffee but quite expensive
Friendly and helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere, good coffee. Only thing is that it could be open longer into the evening. To be fair though Belfast needs longer opening hours of coffee places as after a certain time its only bars.
Good coffee, lovely staff and great place to read a book!
A high priced coffee shop!
Relaxed atmosphere, good selection of drinks 🍸, great coffee and even with restrictions theres still a good selection of food.
Perfect as usual havent been since lockdown so pleased to see the most pleasant staff and hopefully we will be back thanks again ☺️ ☺️ Lily, Harry 👏👏 Cafe Nero
Great coffee shop 🤗👌🍵☕
I’ve been going here my whole life now, and I still have no serious complaints that aren’t just me being annoyed, great drinks, I always loved the chocolate coins and nice staff. Clean location, free chilled tap water available with cups which is always a nice touch!I do recommend this place to anyone.Total rating:5/5
Excellent experience
Lovely friendly staff, serving great drinks
Good quality coffee
What I dont like is people taking seats and not buying Coffee. Other wise I find it relaxing watching the world go by.
Lovely coffee served by polite friendly staff. Can get very busy but they are really efficient and always manage to keep things moving. Seating area outside which is great in good weather.
Staff are very helpful and very friendly. Great place to meet friends. Comfortable seats. Plenty of space for buggies. Great place to bring children to. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely food served here. Plenty of space in the coffee shop. Great place to have a coffee in. Affordable
Great coffee served here for coffee lovers. Staff very helpful and very friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Lots of space for buggies. Lovely food served. Theirs plenty of space in the coffee shop.
Coffees no the best! Prefer Tim hortans
Great coffee and very good service. Range of very nice food and buns. Staff are very friendly and helpful, nice atmosphere, great for catch up with friends. Personally highly recommended. Cheers.
Dirty tables and chairs outside, not great first impressions. But polite staff inside the coffee shop and helpful too.Very clean toilets due to access code on the door.Average coffee taste and quality.
One of the better Nero branches in Belfast city. A good seating arrangement with comfy seats and a relaxing environment. Neros prices have increased however which roughly coincided with the launch of other cheaper competitor coffee shops on the same street. It needs to reduce its prices in order compete.
Great coffee- very clean.staff seemed to actually like their job ,very pleasant lady served us . Nice thing about this location is the covered seating area outside
Always a pleasure to visit Nero! Everyday morning coffee place!
Great coffee. Friendly staff.
Enjoyed nice cup of Italian coffee here during my short visit to Belfast. Highly recommended place 👍🏻
Great coffee but feeling tired. Toilets very poor. Cleanliness of store poor. Seems to becoming more of the norm in Caffe Nero outlets in Belfast.
Friendly staff and good coffee. Great location in centre of Belfast. Plenty of comfy seats inside and out.
Best coffee around
Nice size Caffe Nero, friendly staff, and nice coffee. Cakes, rolls, and soft drinks also available to buy.
Love their coffee! Staff super friendly. If youre a regular costumer you can get a free coffee after buy 9.
Not great cappacinnos, not hot enough!!!
This place do not accept any cash except the English Sterling, be prepare with Sterling or a Visa
Food fantastic
Just what youd expect
Good place to have a coffee, tea or a small snack. Nice that they have tables outside, so you can enjoy drinking your treats in a good summer days. Sometimes this place is a bit crowded so you need to spend extra couple of minutes in a cue.
Best flat white anywhere! Staff very helpful & pleasant too. Just a pity the Fountain St branch is looking so scruffy.
Always like a Cafe Nero. Good coffee and nice sweet treats.
Great coffee Food not so hot but does for convenience
A very friendly outlet of this franchise. Relaxing to sit and drink coffee and watch the world go by.
One of my regular caffeine pitstops. Prices are reasonable, atmosphere is great and they make that delicious coffee the same way I like women... steaming hot and all over my lap.
Espresso ok...staff 👌...very friendly 😁...but the toliletes where horor 👎
Staff and internet fairly mediocre. Tables sit dirty for a long time. Handy location and the upstairs can be a nice quiet place to work. Not great for healthy food options like most Neros (mostly buns, sandwiches etc etc)
Any of the Cafe Neros are great wee restaurants. Lovely selection of sweets and sandwiches and they make a yummy cup of tea and coffee.
Love this place. Use it at least 3 times a week.Only comment would be when I asked for a coffee sitting in I got it in a paper cup !!!!! I Hate paper cups. The woman that serviced me didnt seem to interested in my order.
Most staff are helpful but some like to sit around and chat leaving the other staff members under pressure. The toilets are absolutely filthy and the windowsills are covered in dust. I also bought cake in here and only realised it had expired 3 days before, after I had eaten it!I actually complained to head office about this branch. It needs work!
A great coffee and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
Best Italian roast in the town
Love Caffe Nero. The staff are always lovely and welcoming. I loved theyre babyccinos. They always make an effort for us and remember our usual drinks.
Great coffee, nice engaging staff
A wonderful place to go
Dead on.Nice coffee.Warm.Convenient.It is what it is.I would return.
Very nice and friendly as usual but the Earl Grey tea wasnt the freshest. This location on Fountain Street is one of my favourite places when it comes to to Café Nero but please keep your teas also fresh
Great chain café, friendly staff with excellent service
I would love to give this café full stars but their bathroom is so disgusting that one would rather not use it. Price wise its on the expensive side and the food/lunch options are not good at all, especially not considering what they charge for a pathetic sub with one piece of cheap cheese and ham in it. The service is fantastic, the staff are really nice. The atmosphere inside is calming and lovely.
Nice example of a Nero. Has seats outside.
Its no tim Hortons but it was okay
Excellent place to sit down and relax, read even find some peace.
Bit disappointed in this Caffe Nero, Belfast, near Fountain Street. Felt I was standing for ages in being served that I was going to be missed being served dispite three on the counter!
Great wee spot .Two Beautiful looking Blondes working there.
Best coffee ☕
Good coffee. Quiet place.
Nice coffee
I go here for a wee cup of hot chocolate now and again but it is not as nice as some of the other places I go to.
Called in yesterday a lovely girl Claire served me ..Great service and very friendly will be back ☕☕
Love this coffee shop but was in two different ones in Belfast Mon two different prices for the same order the morning one was 9. 70 and the afternoon one at the station was 13.70 for the same order go figure
Enjoyable stop for a tea and a gingerbread man. Staff is attentive and prices decent.
Always a good cuppa and staff are always polite.
Great staff
Staff are genuinely nice, helpful and friendly people
Superb coffee and friendly service.
I have been to café Nero beside the Europa hotel in Belfast its quick service and helpful staff and clean establishment are a good place to sit down and relax before or after a shopping experience, coming just off the bus ramp and steps to the café Nero two entrances and exits watch the world go by as the view looks out to Great Victoria Street facing the crown bar.
It was open before anyone else
The queue moves slowly and they forgot my croissant on the grill, but its comfortable and spacious.
The most friendliest staff and the manager is called Gloria and shes from Catalan and she is the most friendliest girl alive....I always call in here to chill out and have a bit of craic with the lovely staff
Nice and quiet, both to enjoy a coffee with friends, read a book or do some writing.
