We hadnt booked beforehand but a table was available.We came for lunch, we had steak/ale pie and our children had Sunday roast.Both were very tasty and beautifully presented.Customer service was excellent.We enjoyed our visit. 😊

Came for afternoon tea and we were blown away. The elegant Polish lady who greeted us was outstanding and was amazing.Food was very nice and we had champagne and Gin for drinks, all well presented.The setting of the place is warm and cosy. We also found the staff very amicable and well versed. We are for sure coming back

This was my first time at Browns in Bath and I wasnt disappointed. The food was excellent, cocktails were delicious and so was the rose champagne.We ordered the cheese and bread starter, it was plenty for 3 of us and was top notch.The mains were also very good and well presented, my partner and brother had filet steak and i have chicken schnitzel. The portions were good, food was cooked perfectly.The desserts were also very good, we had the brownie with ice cream and it was amazing. The best brownie I I ever had!The service was very good and the young girl was efficient and friendly.Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again in the future.

As always Browns in Bath was fantastic.The staff are a credit to the business and themselves, always so friendly and helpful.We had some delicious cocktails here followed by club sandwiches and a bottle of prosecco.The staff managed to get us a table outside in the afternoon sunshine even though it was busy.We will keep coming back here as they are consistently excellent.

Fantastic experience. Monika looked after us with fun and joy. Felt at home and it’s hard to believe it’s a chain. Sunday roast was such great value and super tasty, thanks to the kitchen. Don’t hesitate, book a table.

Went here for tea amazing food and service best steak I have had in a long time

Service ok but not great, dealt with questions regarding my allergies well. Lack of information from our server regarding options of side orders, only one check as to whether meals were ok just after they had been delivered to our table. Server hovered once bill had been brought to our table, obviously awaiting payment, almost as if we were about to run! Quite disappointed as we have had very good service elsewhere in Bath.

Excellent venue. We had a private area upstairs for a group of around 40ish people. Rhe food was great, the staff were all very friendly and the venue was lovely.

Lovely cocktails and didnt have to book to sit outside. Good choice of non - alcoholic cocktails as well. Heaters outside for when it gets chilly!

Arrived at Browns to celebrate our 5th anniversary having been turned down by every other place even though this was our original first choice.The young man at the door Tam was very accommodating and after a quick check with his manager we were seated. We were here a couple of weeks ago with my boyfriend and we had an early dinner. We hadnt booked but they still had of table available inside. Everything was delicious, but what I want to highlight is the service. Our waitress was Kate, who was extremely kind and she managed to make our dinner very special. I hope she will have the opportunity to visit her family in Poland soon.

My partner and I went to Browns on 11th August 2021 for a lunchtime drink and thought it looked so lovely we would go for an evening meal. The place is spotlessly clean, the staff are very pleasant and well presented and the food was delicious. I wish I could remember the girls name that served us as she was a delightful and friendly girl. We will definitely go there again.

Took a trip to Bath yesterday in the lovely sun shine. Great place anything and everything you need...Stopped at Browns for a morning coffee and the atmosphere is fantastic. Such a chilled and relaxed coffee and will go back the next time were in Bath

Only sat outside for cocktails but the staff were lovely and friendly. The salted caramel (I think) espresso martini was to die for! Someone pricy but worth it!Worth noting that you cant sit outside and smoke but still worth it

Spent a day in Bath coming from London, though it was raining, had a lovely meal here, worth a visit.Friendly staff.

The food was OK but could have been hotter. Service was slow considering I paid a service charge

Waitress pushed us to order expensive bottles of water by default. There were three vegetarian choices on the menu which is better than most places. Ravioli was nice but not a huge portion. Well spaced out tables and high ceilings made it feel covid safe. There are outside tables but it was raining on the day we visited. Cost for lunch 3 with 2 bottled water was around £20 per head. Tip added to bill automatically.

Monika our server was fantastic, she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Great food and drinks. Everything was perfect from start to finish.

We had walked from Bristol to Bath and popped into Browns for a drink and some nibbles as a treat! We were given a warm welcome and the host found us a table after a short wait. We were served quickly and the sharing food we had was delicious! Can’t wait to go back for a meal!

Visited for midweek brunch, the food was really wonderful, and they catered very well for my friends gluten and dairy free diet. The service sadly let them down a bit, it was impersonal and slow and the bill took over 15 minutes to arrive. I would recommend visiting for the food and the lovely terrace.

We stopped at Browns Bath for one drink. It was a hot day so we sat outside. We were pleased with the ambiance and the service. Staff was jolly and pleasent. Most customers were eating there and looked quite happy. It seems to be a popular place right near the hear of Bath next to Pavilion Gardens.

(review based on takeaway experience only)Ordered a pork roast for myself and a burger and fries for my partner.The reason I have given 3 stars is that certain parts of my meal were clearly microwaved, the roast potatoes although looking like they were amazing when coming out of the oven, had been destroyed onced they entered the microwave and had become soggy on the inside and chewy on the outside , portions are very small and the gravy more of a tasty brown water than a decent gravy.The ingredients are high quality and well seasoned, but with a 90 minute waiting time for delivery, and at the asking price you wouldnt expect your local pubs roast dinner to be superior.(I feel 90 minutes is more than enough time to make everything fresh, no?)As for the burger and fries, obviously I havent tasted that myself, but my partner said it was ok... But not worth the money.I honestly do expect that these flaws are just because its a takeaway meal, I cant really expect it to be the same quality as when dining in, hence this review should not dissuade you from visiting browns in person where hopefully your experience will be better.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Browns on Saturday. I ordered the lamb rumb Shepherds pie which sounded very appetising on the menu. It didnt disappoint, I wasnt expecting a perfectly cooked rump of lamb as well as an individually prepared Shepherds pie too. Both were so tasty with the red wine jus served alongside. I followed this with lemon tart which again was fabulous.

Yee-Lin was our waitress and was lovely, kind and spread lots of joy during our dinner. Thank you for great food and service !

A fantastic experience as always. This is the place to come to superb customer service, tasty food and in an exquisite setting - the old bath police station. You really do feel special when waited upon which makes it a perfect breakfast place for a romantic getaway treat. Im not vegetarian but their vegetarian breakfast truly is to die for. Prices may be slightly higher than somewhere like the Boston Tea Party but its so worth it. Cant recommend enough and will be back.

Nice place , but the service was poor , food took ages to come , the fish pie was sizzling but the peas were cold the fish was rubbery and tasteless. My chicken was nice but the fried egg that came with it was overcooked and rubbery and to be honest tasteless. We complained and got money off our bill , but could not reccomend to eat there .

We went in because of the rain, and had a nice surprise. All staff was caring for our well-being, particular thanks for Monique who also provided some ideas for enjoying our first stay in Bath in addition to the nice meal.

Disappointed with some of the items being unavailable off the menu. When we found something we did want the wrong dish was brought out initially, would have received a lower score if we werent compensated with a free coffee.

Delicious food. Amazing service. Tasty cocktails.Recommend the albarino, and caramel profiteroles. Linguine was very very Herby and had a kick to it.

Service could be better. Was waiting for the simple drink over ten minutes, not happy with that.Food ok, but felt like its just been out from microwave.

Had to chase our drinks after 25 minutes from ordering, to then be given an incorrect order. Tried to get the waitresses attention to sort it out but sadly we couldnt.

The food is great! Nice selection on the menu and something for everyone. £20 bottle of fizz on a Friday is a great deal! Interior of the building is gorgeous and a really nice vibe.The staff were fabulous, knowledgeable and friendly. Especially Lee Yin, her positive attitude was the highlight of the evening. Super super friendly and took the time to chat to us about our visit. She is an absolute asset to the team.10/10 would recommend and definitely will be back
