The welcome and affection we received in morning order made us go there and say thank you to the owner in person. We were in Rishikesh for four days. I was looking for some good Salads option. My wife called the gentleman at this place. Despite of off menu request he arranged salads for us and made sure it gets delivered. In dine in we had 5 States special Tandoor Aloo - must try dish. Handi dal - must try and naan. I am not that foodie. I am eat to survive. My knows taste and understands food language. Its not often she ask me to tip ( you know if married). This time she asked me to tip. Service was good, people are nice. I deducted 1 star because the service man did not turn up with change. Although the entire amount was supposed to be kept with him. He actually made me feel bad.oney did come over above anything and I hate it. We paid the bill and in 10 seconds we left the place. That man saw us leaving, but intentionally did not turn up.Message to Owner : Please train them little more.

They had traditional local food from the garhwal hills of Uttarakhand. Hence I did not have to think twice about what I wanted! The waiter was very courteous and explained all the dishes in the meal with passion. Very tasty food... A wonderful place to eat at!

This place is quite good if you want your family to go to a nice quiet restaurant ..And the hotel staff here is also very family friendly and the arrangement here is very heartening.And it is also very cheap, so you can happily come here

The restaurant serves multicuisine. We optwd for south indian because we thought like eating some authentic sambar and other stuff. The food was average but the staff was courteous.

Good place with a very good menu. Only veg food is available. The quality of the food and the taste is awesome. You can surely go there to try something new and different like their 5 states combo special thali.

Food is good but not exceptional...

The food is not good.. I ordered two dosas one paneer and one masala for my friend. Masala dosa had stale stuffing and paneer dosa was not good. My stomach didnt felt good after eating their food. I am not sure about other food stuffs.But you cant serve a stale food atleast.

Everyone who comes to Rishikesh should make it here for at least one meal featuring authentic Indian food at its absolute best (some dishes are the owners family recipes!). The owners are dedicated, friendly and a superb at their hospitality and food alike. We walked here from the fire ceremony one night and were greeted with the kindest hospitality as the owners permitted us to dine-in even though they were closed for family birthday celebration in which we were invited to sing along and enjoy cake. We loved the food and service so much, we returned before our flight the next morning for breakfast. We are still dreaming about it to this day. Also a great place for Barfi! They can package them to go, which makes a nice gift.

Took gool gappa . Were normal Nothing special . Washrooms can be improved and staff was sitting on seats that could be better ... Good interiors and menu .

This is the best restaurant in Rishikesh, better and cheaper choice than Chotiwala.The restaurant is pure veg, their speciality is Gharwali Thali.....and we ordered the same, it was damn awesome.Next thing we ordered was Veg Chowmein and it pleasured our taste buds.Ambience is good....and the staff is too friendly.The restaurant is must visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner (anything).

From snacks to main course, sweets to drinks. everything with a beautiful sitting inside the resturant with good service from the staff.Must recommend if u looking for a family resturant with vegetarian food. Just GO FOR IT!!!And also for parties like birthday celebrations etc! U can prefer 5 states restaurant.

Worst food ever, had south indian food here around 2-3 days back, same night we had severe food poisoning and gastroenteritis had to be given IV medication. Please dont go there or you will get food poisoning for sure..

Great food , ambience and service. Food was up to mark. I was there for lunch and found it peaceful as there was no loud news you have to listen to even if you dont want to. Also, there was instrumental music playing which I did enjoy.The attitude of owner and the people working there was polite and they do respect their customers. Ill definitely visit again while my time in Rishikesh. Hope this helps.Have a good one. :)

Hotel guys used to discriminate too much. they will not serve timely. they will loot too much money from customers. They didnt maintain hygiene. if you see their cooking style no one will eat here and too costly...food also moderate. For that food cost is very high

This resturant provides good quality of food and ambience in spite of being conpact sized. The price of the items is moderate and the edibles are a speciality of South Indian taste.If you are willing to get good amount of food and the true taste of South Indian cuisine , then you must visit this restaurant.One drawback which I saw there was a problem of max allowed customers as 20.The size is small but the taste is good.You can visit alone or with a small group, but if you have a large company, I wont suggest this restaurant for you.

5States is an awesome fine dining restaurant situated at Rishikesh, bang on main highway towards Badrinath. There is ample space for parking vehicles. Food served here is lip smacking. This restaurant serves best north indian and south Indian cuisines. Its a must to have food at this restaurant if you are traveling to Rishikesh.

Worst experience with laccha, missing roti, mixed vegI never had this thick roti in my life they are pathetic, even my whole family was shouting on me, worst exp. With 5 states and swiggy,Dal tadka was sour which was very bad experience.5 states is ruining the taste of food in Rishikesh

When we visited, they were having their air conditioner cleaned and we were told it was being serviced, not being mended as it did not broke. So they shouldnt be doing such activities in the middle of peak hours. They have their ice cream fridge by the toilet. Food tasted good. Quantity can be improved

Heard a lot but wasnt worth dining in there. Too much spicy (red chilli powdered) despite of giving instruction while ordering. Couldnt believe that the trip will end with such a wired dining experience.

Nice to sit and enjoy south Indian food here but everytime the taste is different and service is also very slow.
