Pathetic service.We stayed here for 2 nights , booked 2 rooms. Room was big and neat , apart from this there was nothing good.Staff is not good . On check in , no welcome drinks not even water. No one greets you properly, in fact the first thing they told me was pay your balance amount.The bathroom taps suddenly hot water comes as they have solar powered taps so anytime in middle extremely hot water starts pouring . Thank god there were no casualties due to this.The restaurant service s pathetic. We got late at ganga aarti because we had to wait 45 min for our high tea.The in room dining s very bad. Over spicy starters and nothing available to eat after 9 45 pm. We had to order a pizza since nothing was available to eat.There is no parking , spa non functional, no activities that the hotel offers.It was our anniversary, however the whole stay was spoiled. Very poor and bad stay.Definitely not 4 star experience.Would not recommend to anyone looking for a luxury stay.

It is a superb hotel on the bank of the river( there is a wonderful walking road just on the bank), with superb facilities and superb treatment by the staff

I strongly recommend this hotel, I stayed here for 3 nights in April 2021 visiting from the UK and had an excellent time. The staff were extremely warm and accommodating and went out of their way to service every request. The hotel is right across from the Ganges river, and has three amazing rooftop terraces providing great 360degree views over the Ganges and Rishikesh. The food was great, room very clean, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, bedroom had good views over the river, and very safe location (parked my motorcycle within the gate and there was a guard). Modern and fresh interior design of hotel. Thanks so much to the friendly staff for making my stay so special!

This hotel is built well, construction quality is good, and food is amazing, however, security lapses is a thing here and the way things are handled can cause you severe distress. We had an aweful experience staying here as the missing security checks had almost cost us a little life (our 1 year old nephew) and when the incident was reported to its management, they were so pathetic in handling that. Mr. Rajeev Kumar Chauhan was ruthless and didnt show an iota of emppathy. Wish no other person staying at this hotel has the similar experience

Hotel is clean, beautiful and magnetic. Staff and manager are so helpul and supporting. They show you the meaning of service with expertise.I would like to thank Manager here Miss Anita. She is very talented and experienced. You dont need to worry for anything after booking for your function.Every staff member is dedicated and hardworking.

It is a decent 3 star hotel.Has some great views of the ganga river, especially from the roof top restaurant called Sitting Elephant. The staff is promt and serves on time.However same cannot be said for the restaurant staff. They are unable to manage the diners and service is quite slow. Breakfast menu is quite limited. They can do better.Do note that the back rooms face garbage dump

It is the best hotel in Rishikesh for several reasonsService - The staff was extremely polite and very helpful since my partner got a bad stomach flu from a night before. They arranged medicine, tailored food to our health and were available 24*7 for assistance. They took extra efforts to make sure we were comfortable and were extremely attentive to every need.Room - our room was a river facing room and it was very cosy with both fan and aircon (most hotels only provide AC) which we hate.Food - Rishikesh is known to not have good food but we were amazed at our stay here since every meal we ordered when we were better was absolutely fabulous! I would highly recommend the dosa in the morning and the mix veg as it was one of the best we have eaten around. The two restaurants on the rooftop provide the most gorgeous view of the river and also a very panoramic view of the national park in-front. If you are lucky, then you may catch elephants on the riverbed on their morning stroll. We spent hours just sitting on the restaurant absorbing the views.Location - it is away from the crowded side of rishikesh and is located by the river. Spectacular views with a promenade on the riverside to walk on. Our morning walks by the river were one of our best experiences in Rishikesh. There is also a temple nearby where you can watch the aarti in the evenings. Since it is away from the crowd and gives you all that you want to experience in Rishikesh in one spot, it is perfect for those who want to be cover safe. They take full precautions and also provide their own car for going into town (on chargeable basis) and touring the attractions.I was highly impressed by their professionalism and their personal touch at the same time for taking great care of us and making sure we recover before we left. It made our Rishikesh very memorable.I highly recommend this for solo, couple and family trips.

Beautiful hotel next to Ganga. Great views of the river and you can hear the sound of the river flow. A bit expensive hotel but worth the Stay!! Went there in Dec 2014. They have their address wrong in Google Maps so I had to go into the City and come back. I had suggested an edit in Google Maps so hopefully its fixed now.

Very bad. There is no power back up. The manager says we have 2 DGs but both are not functional.In midnight, one is not left with an option but to accept and adjust.

View from fifth floor is awesome... Service is really fantastic...you can easily ignore the one-side view as you can view really some fantastic natural beauty from the top.

Location is reachable and hassle-free. The breakfast was limited in menu specially there was no south indian in menu but good enough for starting morning with tasty chole bathure. The a-la-carte options were slightly expensive but sumptuous. The room(103) was spacious, have all morden amenities but the view from room was too bad, because I booked room for ganga view but unluckily no view. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Overall, would recommend for a pleasant stay. But please for food I would not recommend, go outside and have food.Thanks,Himanshu Tyagi

They were good overall just that they are misguiding customers while at booking or may be travel sites are misguiding. They show up in a resort category while they are a hotel.Few positives- easy to locate since on Highway- Location is best part- rooms are good , spacious ,well lit and good for soaking in sun or the view.- Restaurant is placed at a nice end to enjoy dinner with splendid viewsNegatives- Service is very slow in the restaurant with mis management. Should be labour issues but that is not acceptable at this tarrif.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights at INR ..only because of reviews and ratings, but from the room allocation to room service everything was very disappointing. 1. Room allocation issue : I booked a king bed river view room but at the time of check-in I got a twin bed room and when I complained they offered me a city view room with king bed, whose price is INR ...less than what I had paid for a river view. After arguing for 10-15 min, they told me that there is no other vacant room with river view and king bed and they gave me family suite on lower floor, from which I was barely able to see the river and even the windows were not sound proof and I can hear the lot of traffic noise throughout the day and night.2. No car parking : Parking is not available and you need to park your car on the road itself.3. Poor room service : After room cleaning, staff forgot to clean the bathroom and did not placed the new towels4. Bottled water is paid : They now have a policy according to which they will provide only one complimentary water bottle regardless of the number of days you stay and number of people in a room and if you ask them for more bottled water they will charge you.5. River view is only good if you stay on the 4th floor, otherwise you can opt for a city view which is relatively cheaper.6. Breakfast is good, but is not advised to book the hotel only because of breakfast.7. Do not expect a premium quality room and furniture even after paying INR .../night for a standard room and INR .../night for a family suite.So, if I summarize I wont suggest you to book this hotel otherwise instead of a relaxing holiday you will keep on arguing with the staff.They gave us a twin bed room instead of a king bed even after opting for a king bed.

Nice hotel for a stay at Rishikesh. Rooms are spacious but the beds are not too comfortable. Need to be replaced. The rooftop hotel is nice, food is reasonably good. Enjoyed the ginger lemon drink. Service is good but the reception can be more customer centric. Special mention of Mr. Negi who took lot of effort to make the guests comfortable. Enjoy walks along the Ganges which is on the opposite side of the road. But there are better places in Rishikesh to stay, probably consider Ganga Kinare (slightly more pricey but great place)

We stayed at Ellbee Ganga View for 2 days in October 2019. From the time we reached Reception till check out, we were treated very well. The room was as described, rooms were cleaned in time, food was very good & all staff was polite & ready to help. The price of the room was on higher side though.Overall a pleasant experience. Complete hotel team gave us warm feelings & were very cordial butThe travel mode of Aarti at Triveni Ghat required one to climb 72 (steep) steps, a difficult walking mode. Hotel can think of alternative travel plan.

Hotel EllBee Gangav View is located on Haridwar Road, Rishikesh near Indian Oil Corporation Limited Pump. The Hotel is very good. The Services and Staff are very good. Its an expensive hotel. Ive visited here twice. Rooms are big in size and View of Holy River Ganga is a great asset for the guests of this hotel. All payment modes like cash, card etc. are available here fir guests. Utility Store is also available here. Vehicles for siteseeing is also available here. Guest can contact at reception for all the services available here. Parking is available here but space is less as per requirements. Anyone will not be disappointed after visiting this place for sure.

Very friendly staff and constant feedback seeked to ensure everything is alright. Food is decent but not very great in taste. Bedsheets could be more cleaner given the price one is paying for. Very close to Triveni ghat. Some room face ganga but its across the road. Hotel is on close to the market and local rickshaws easily available. Was with my kids but nothing much for them to do. Hot water is not available throughout the day just early mornings and in the night. Overall a decent experience.

A 3star+ hotel with spa, swimming pool and other rejuvenation facilities. The interiors and lighting makes the hotel look very chic and modern. The lobby is spacious as are the rooms. The tarrifs are reasonable. The lifts are good and takes you to the rooftop for a grand view of the river Ganges. There is an excellent restaurant in the rooftop that serves contemporary cuisine. The staff at the reception needs special mention of their helpful and courteous behaviour.

We planned a family trip to Rishikesh and chose Ellbee Ganga View going by the reviews. However, the hotel seems to be a reflection of past glory only. The furnishings in the room were third class. The window didnt even have full curtains. The curtains could not be fixed even after repeated reminders. The upholstery was torn from some places like sofa handles and the round pillow. The bathroom fitting was leaking which could not be fixed even after notifying the manager.One can handle this, but the behavior of the staff (specially room-service staff) was a real turn off. There was complete miscommunication on the matter of check-out.

Nicely located near the bank of Ganga river. Courteous staff. The Dining Hall on the 5th floor has lovely outdoor area with super views...Old time senior staff at the Dining Hall, taking very good care of the patrons. The spacious rooms have 2 full size double beds...clean sheets, comfortable...Quick service, quite peaceful and clean. Easy to get public transport...

End of June this year we have visited Rishikesh and had a pleasant & delightful stay at Hotel Elbee Ganga View.It was a great experience staying in Elbee Ganga View, Rishikesh. I had visited the city for a family vacation and stayed in this hotel for three nights. The service was brilliant and the food served at their Roof Top Restaurant “The Sitting Elephant†was delicious. The Hotel is near from Triveni Ghat, and had many rooms with Ganga View. The restaurant had the majestic Ganga view and we have literally seen the Elephants drinking water from the river all the 3 days which suffice its name. Special mention to the amazing food served there & thanks to Chef Ved Prakash Semwal for his special dishes made specially tailored for my son’s palate, best was Paneer MethiMalai& Soya Matar Keema. The rooms were well maintained, well furnished, nice and clean spacious rooms. Bathrooms were very neat and clean. and the service quality is excellent. I enjoyed the breakfast too it had elaborate options in Indian mainly and few continental too. We have booked car for visiting Neelkanth Temple, but due to rains drivers were cancelled but the Hotel Management’s service is overwhelming, they had walked extra mile to arrange an excellent mountain driver from his internal staff members so that we do not have to cancel our trip to Neelkanth. And we really enjoyed the trip to the temple .

Situated on Haridwar Road, rooms are awesome and view is good for river view rooms. Washrooms are apt and clean. Food on the costly side but quality is very good. Complimentary breakfast is also good.nothing as such

I dont really do reviews and stuff but I kept getting these prompts from google, since I had some time to spare and had travelled out of station for a change and had a good time(I usually spend the weekend with a Netflix binge) so I am going to do this. So about the hotel- the rooms were amazing(like really amazing) I was really surprised to be honest, probably because the outside of the hotel doesnt stand out much. The rooms were big, the decor was pretty nice, the wifi connectivity was great(PUBG ping 120). It has sufficient place to park 5-6 cars and an Indian oil petrol pump next door(I dont drive but thought it would be helpful for people who do, I just booked an OLA outstation in case you are wondering). Since it is on the main road transportation is not a problem, you can find autos till around 11.00 pm, they also have pick and drop services from airport and stations. The roof top restaurant has an amazing array of food, I had done a bit of research prior to going there and found the pricing a little on the expensive side and wasnt sure if I wanted to spend as much but hell I was just tired of having cafe food for lunch and dinner, so I gave it a go and the food was great. Especially the Dal Makhani which was truly praiseworthy I ordered it every single time I had food there I would rate it at par if not better than the best, the sizzlers were also pretty good. The breakfast buffet was complementary and pretty lavish, south Indian snacks were especially noteworthy including Upma and Vadas which were freshly baked. The staff is helpful and really polite, even when I called them at odd hours when I locked myself out of the room a couple of times(kept putting the electronic keycards in the same pocket as my phone, 3/4 times it got wiped clean). There is no smoking allowed inside the rooms though and the smoke detectors actually work so dont try to sneak a couple of drags by standing near to the cieling exhaust in the washroom. I dont want to load pictures with me and my friends in them and so I cant load many.I had an amazing weekend staying there, maybe it was partly because of the company of my friends and that I havent travelled out of the city much, lately.P.S.: the hotel is wheelchair friendly, I know because I asked one of the staff why the lifts were wider than the usual.

Amazing hotel with huge rooms, very helpful staff who guided us on places to visit around Rishikesh, there’s a daily yoga session at 7am which is great. Food at the sitting elephant (vegetarian restaurant) was wonderful too. Would love to stay again, and don’t hesitate to stay here during your visit to Rishikesh!
