Stayed at the ashram for a couple of days with family, and for all of us it has been a memorable experience. I express my gratitude and thanks for all the persons putting all there efforts for providing all of us with wonderful experience. Clean and spacious rooms, beautiful corridors, canteen with hygienic and delicious food, gangas flowing like a next door neighbor, old and big trees, evening aarti, havans, beautiful scriptures, and a lot of other factors makes the environment surreal. However, due to COVID restrictions I missed the evening aarti and satsang, and I wish to visit again to experience that as well. Please plan in advance and complete the booking formalities to avoid inconvenience.
A really beautiful and peaceful ashram in Rishikesh it is one of the biggest ashram in Rishikesh. They provide rooms for visitors at very reasonable price.Management of the ashram very good.Beautiful idols and parks are there. They have parking space for guests only.Book rooms in advance.Evening Ganga ji aarti really a rejuvenating experience here.
Excellent Place for Chilling and Praying . Ganges flowing with constant phase , light wind blowing throughout the ghat. The Ganga Arti at evening is extremely beautiful and soothing. The only flaw is about the people who are conning people by asking for Money for maintenance of the ghat and ganga Arti. and very peaceful Area. I want to visit again and again.
Very peaceful and yoga activites to find the inner peace . All kinds of rooms are available for family as well as individuals .Well maintained and view of Ganges from the puja point is just mesmerizing .Dont forget the evening aarti time .One can also enjoy the canteen which is available for anyone for breakfast lunch and dinner .Thali cost is just 80/- tasty and feels like home-cooked food .

Rishikesh – known as the “City of the Divine”- is a spiritual center to which sages, rishis, saints and pilgrims have flocked for millennia. The roads of the city are lined with bustling market places of ethnic arts and handicrafts, fresh produce markets, holy shrines and orange-robed sadhus. Then, the road narrows, the markets become more sparse and you come upon a foot bridge, suspended high over the sacred Ganga river. As you cross this bridge, the sun streaming through the sacred Himalayas to warm your being, you will feel as if you have truly come home.It is no surprise that pilgrims are drawn here from all over the world. The awe-inspiring beauty of the ashram, the clear flowing Ganga, the majestic mountains, and the lush green forests will embrace and rejuvenate your entire being. Parmarth Niketan offers comfort, inspiration and upliftment for your body, mind and spirit as well as a deeper connection with the Divine. As you stay in the ashram, you will feel your soul bathing in the peace of sacred energies, including those that emanate from nature and those that linger from the timeless healing powers of saints, sages and holy ones. Parmarth Niketan contains within it the voice and the spirit of divine communion. The daily activities at Parmarth Niketan include morning universal prayers, daily yoga and meditation classes, daily satsang and lecture programs, kirtan, the world-renowned Ganga Aarti at sunset, as well as Nature Cure and Ayurvedic treatment. There are frequently special cultural and spiritual programs given by visiting revered saints, acclaimed musicians, spiritual and social leaders and others.Additionally, there are frequent camps in which pilgrims come from across the world to partake in intensive courses on yoga, meditation, pranayama, stress management, acupressure, Reiki and other ancient Indian sciences.Parmarth Niketan is open to all, with no discrimination on the basis of race, gender, nationality, religion, caste or creed.Parmarth Niketan literally means “An Abode Dedicated to the Welfare of All.”Parmarth Niketan is a true spiritual haven, lying on the holy banks of Mother Ganga in the lap of the lush Himalayas. So beautiful and peaceful place but bit over crowded
Religious Vatican, spiritual and God believing premises on the river bank of Ganges coming from the Great Himalayas. Really we are very much proud to born in Great Nation.
This place is very peaceful, for stay rooms are also here.
Once upon a time it was a really good ashram. Now the ashram has more show off and its just had ashram name. Now its more commercial and you can feel it. So far just to have a relaxing feeling you can go but not for the real spiritual progress. To much showoff.
Amazing place for meditation and peace.. Must go if you visit Rishikesh
Must attend its ganga aarti
Must Join evening Ma Ganga aarti. Come before 6 pm
Paramarth Ashram is one of the famous Ashram in Rishikesh on the banks of River Ganga. You get to experience peace and beauty of nature & Maa ganga..when we visited it was a Covid center and couldnt stay here..
Nice canteen inside for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good ganga aarti organized by the students of Parmarth in the melodious voice at evening 6 pm daily.
Can’t get a room in here without book a month affront. It is very quiet inside as there is no monkeys, cows and dogs. Met a local friend who booked the room in here, 800rps for a standard room with a kitchen and bathroom. The room is ok, I prefer my room which is located in yoga village with half of the price. There are free classes every day except Sunday. The canteen in here is a highlight, they serve different kinda Indian food. The choices of breakfast are variety. Lunch and dinner is only Thali, and also desserts and drinks.Very good place for staying around in Rishikesh.
Peaceful.Ganga Aarti is beautiful and you should schedule visit as per the timing.Lord Shiva statue is so photogenic

Best Ashram in rishikesh is Parmarth Niketan Ashram.I went just before the lockdown due to covid there were very few people. It is so huge .Normally have to do booking almost a month before. It is so beautiful and also it has a private Ganga ji ghat. Its like if you just step outside the back gate there is one lane which is one small market where you can find everything you want and across this lane there is Ghat. It is so clean, beautiful and so peaceful. You can literally spend entire day sitting over there. Generally all can attend Aarti over there but due to covid there were restrictions. We were not able to attend the famous Aarti. The canteen is also really clean , food is so tasty . If you dont want to eat canteen food there was a small stall of street food just outside the gate which was really tasty. Car parking is also available there. All should visit here atleast once!
It was such an amazing experience having aarti in evening... It bow my heart ❤️
Every one who wants to come rishikesh knows about paramarth. It is famous for its Ganga Arti, a good waiting room is available here for those who wait to see the Aarti and offer prayer to maa ganga.(You can attend online session of yoga by joining its facebook page and its youtube chennal from 7 am morning.)Not only spiritual aspects, This divine institute is doing a admirable job in the field of social services. For spreading awareness of cleaning ganga, planting trees to save the nature, and many other dimensions.
Parmarth Niketan is a religious and spritual centre having its great iportance among devotees. Situated at the bank of Holy River Ganga, near Ram Jhula in Rishikesh. Ganga Aarti at plays here every evening which is so peace giving that takes a person to differnet level. This type of destinations show the right direction of life, to the human being, in todays materialistic physical enviroment. This type of places arte not bound to any specific religion, those are all above of narrow mind status of human being.
Awesome location, well managed ashram great for hindu rituals. Rooms provided were clean, the ghat area was awesome with magnificent statue of Lord Shiva. The evening Aarti was awesome again.
Must visit place, particularly in evening for their daily evening chants and aartis. Its divine experience. Well maintained and managed aashram. Their daily discourse (q&a sessions) can be equally enlightening. Beautifully crafted murals, larger than life sculptures/idols and carved scriptures add to the aura of the place.Just one suggestion... If they can replace those loud speakers with some modern speakers, the chants will becomes much more soothing and divine.🙏😇
Went here when the evening aarti was going on. Was a peaceful place. Had a spiritual feeling when you are there. Read on the notice board there are lots of things you could do by staying in the ashram. Yoga courses is just one of them. Good place to be for people who are looking for some spiritual time.
Easy to reach near by ram jhulla need to take a right turn after crossing ram jhulla. This place is full of natural beauty with excellent implementation of creative thoughts.A peaceful place to stay.

Nice place, well maintained, nice food. Spritual wives. Hare Krishna Prabhu
Its very peaceful place..its known for spritual life..Day visitors of Rishikesh must visit its canteen...they serve satvik food at very cheap price
I respect and appreciate the aarti they organize but i only am upset because of their greedy behaviour of the trusty persons and the organizer, i went for ganga aarti and saw their aarti really such a awkward moment i saw all the rich and elite members are sitting around and close to yagya arpan sthal and the same i saw the some poor old lady are all allowed to sit outside the barricades this makes me to think that yes might be god also searching for rich person to sit near by it . This is shame if you forget humanity against the funding provided by the elite members. Please atleast seek for that poor lady who come from far by walk specially for this aarti every evening...respect her make her sit near the yagya sthal please .she will feel happy . Jai sanatan sharma.Posting during live aarti and feeling her pain .
Parmarth Niketan is an ashram in the Swarg Ashram area. It is a very peaceful place where you can sit for hours doing nothing or watching people. I attended their evening aarti which is an event in itself, and then sat at the ashram for about 2 hours just soaking in the calmness around me. I again visited it early the next day, the students were collecting flowers and many devotees were taking dips at the Ganga Ghat. It was very green, a feast to the eyes. Lovely place, recommend a visit.
Its the most beautiful ashram...well maintained...satvik food...Guruji with positive energy...Ganja ghat and ashram once leave you to think that money is Maya...you will once think to leave everything and become jogi....I will love to visit it again and again
