Small Guest House only for CPWD officers on duty. However nearby 13 rooms very good Holiday Home can be booked online by Central Government Employees serving or retired through Director of Estate Web site upto 60 days in advance. It is 2 km from Airport & 3 km from city.

Its near govt quarter area and moderately clean. View from balcony is good and refreshing.

The guest house is located in a beautiful location which is near to the airport. The food is very good which is prepared in homely like atmosphere with advance booking at reasonable rates. But the overall maintenance part is bad as the faulty water tap, electrical fittings, lift which is not working could seen as the proof of the maintenance lapses. If little more attention is given to the maintenance part, the comfort which the guest could get and enjoy during the stay would be extremely good.

There are a couple of negatives but all in all it is a great place to stay at such a low price. It is relatively new building inaugurated in 2012 with decent and helpful staff. Rooms are of decent size with attached balcony and bathrooms. Each room has a perfectly working air conditioner and a television. The dining hall is super clean with affordable menu such as Lunch and Dinner thali at Rs 75 only. Breakfast is also cheap. Guest house lobby is big enough having comfortable sofas and television for relaxing.The only negative point is that the attached bathrooms of the rooms are not well maintained and are not quite clean with cockroaches and small insects roaming around. Otherwise a great stay.

Recently I have visited Andaman & Nicobar island and I stayed in this guest house for 5 days on port blair... I found that this is one of the best place to stay, rooms are very very neat and clean, staff is very cooperative and friendly. I suggest you to stay here if you are visiting This beautiful island

Food and services are good but the furniture provided to me in VIP suite were very less and that made the room overall only fair.. Moreover one of the AC was not working and there was no STB remote in the room. Intra-Telephone was not working but overall for the price it charges it is worth it

The place is near the airport (1.5 km) but on the highland, it will be better to take auto or taxi to go to the place. There is a bus stop outside Kendriya Sadan (Guest House) from where you can get a bus to dairy farm. If you want to go to abardeen bazaar or other tourist places, you have to get down to main road and get the vehicle from there. The food here is average though a bit spicy. Facilities in room are similar to any hotel. Beware of the network here. Only BSNL, Airtel and Vodafone work here and you will not be able to use internet on vodafone or airtel. Wifi is not available in the complex, although you can get it in cyber cafe outside (PS: Its slow and costly, aroung Rs. 35 per hour). Mess timing for breakfast is 8am, for lunch 1pm and for dinner 8pm, so plan your trip accordingly. The staff here is very good. Overall, it is excellent if you see the price that you will be paying. There is one important thing, they dont provide any consumables so if you want something you better get it beforehand.Hope this helps! Have a nice trip!
