A park dedicated to Father of our nation. Located at the heart of the city near LGs residence and other major power houses. The park is a delight to our eye and soul. Good for all types of people including kids and older persons. Theres a peddle boat facility., toy train and ample amount of playing option for kids to spend there valuable time. The metal Mahatma statue in the park gives immense inspiration. The statue is large and life like. A must visit place at Port Blair especially in the evening time.

Nice place to hangout with family and specially kids... Back part of the could be more beautiful if authority takes good care as in case of front park...But overall nice experience .. Japanese Bunker built during world war a must see

Lots of playing area for children specially all the Jhullas, rope climber, Fish mouth, sliding rides, peddle boat ridding and many more. Children enjoy a lot there. Just go and see there.

Gandhi Park, located at the centre of Port Blair, provides the kind of peace one seeks, away from the busy day to day life. Once the only source of drinking of the city. Built around the Diltaman tank and in only thirteen days. This beautiful park at Port Blair has facilities like amusement rides, safe water sports and nature trail around the lake, garden, restaurant and historic remains like Japanese temple as well as a bunker. One can spend quality time with friends, family and specially kids for playing in thia park. It is not well maintained otherwise everything is good. This garden is full of trees, flower graden and a Gandhi statue at the centre of this park which gives you peace from ones busy life.

A fun loving place, with great historical value💫❤️the kid within me comes out here🤪 Sometimes I wish to become a kid once again when I come here🥺💕I have an emotional connection to this place, since I used to spend a lot of time in my childhood days here🤭There are a lot of things here to watch like ponds, flowers, garden, statues etc. This place has a con too, last time I visited here I saw a really huge snake at the outskirts of the pond area,it was afternoon time,It was too scary infact.. so please be careful with your kids here✨

Its more like a nature park and also we can take a long walk in this park. Also it has children section for playing games and having fun. But many of the games didnt work as it used to work 4-5 years ago.

It is near anthropological museum and has big pond. It is good for evening walk. I didnt see many tourists compared to localites. Maintained cleanly.

No child from Andamans can forget this Park. All time famous, for kids n everybody. There was Bot Joker who used to laugh for 1 rupee coin in a glass box. Now its not available. Many missed him. But The train rides and other kids Rides , Boat rides, Painting museum are still the Gems.

Nice and quite place to seat, relax and enjoy the lake view. Very good place to bring the children. There is boat ride as well but it was closed when we visited the park.

Good place for making mind refresh.

The place is very nice. But the Andaman and Nicobar Administration is not taking any initiative for the maintaining and development of the park. The rides for the entertainment of the childrens are closed due to non repairable of the damaged parts. I personally contacted the technicians and they told that the rides are very old and the damaged parts are not available in the market. I remembered that when I was a kid I enjoyed a lot there, but when I see the current scenario, the situation is wrost but you can enjoy the pollution free air and by walking in the streets and enjoy the boat rides as some of the boats are still running. I have given 4 star as the park is good but due to non maintenance I cut 1 star.

Beautiful place for all. Enjoy paddle boating( starts after 4:00pm), different rides for child as well as for elders.

This park is located within the port blair city. We spent lots of time in this park and its really very beautiful park to hang around. There is a big statue of Mahatma Gandhi within the park which you can see from the main gate.

Park garden is well maintained, good time pass in evening most of the attractions for kids are broken and very old .

Situated on a busy T-junction, this statue is rather prominent. Passing by it often reminded me of this great man and what he contributed to not only in India but also my home country of South Africa.The park is well sculptured with nice greenery and flowers and also has a dedicated area for those practising Yoga. Even with passing by traffic, the area has a calmness and relaxed atmosphere. A good place just to come and recharge from a busy day.

The erstwhile Dilthaman tank, which was the only source of drinking water for Port Blair and the area .. It is open all days.

Nice calm park to spend your evenings. There was some kind of art exhibition going on. There were some small rides and activity for the kids. Parking is available out side and they charge you 20 rs.

Ok . Have Open air gymnasium and many activities for small children , silent place - can visit for time pass in evening. But a lot of mosquito in the garden and around.

This is one of the finest apps pace in port Blair. The sea side park is big and a good place to spend time with friends and family. The security system is very good and tourist friendly as well.

It was awesome and peaceful being there... It is a nice place where you can hang out with your Girlfriend...But the appealing to me was the natural beauty of that park and how cleanly it was being maintain but the management...

Good park to visit and roam around freely with friends or family. Beautiful atmosphere, nice ambiance and excellent scenario all along the park full of greenery and superb scenic beauty. The statue of Mahatma Gandhi is beautiful and amazing. But other than this statue and the greenery there is nothing to see or enjoy. The big park with a large area is not properly maintained. There are different rides for children and the elders also. But all is out of order. The most interesting is that the ticket counters for the rides are kept opened and even staffs are there. But surprisingly the rides are not running. In case of the boat riding the fact is same here. There are no amenities for the tourists inside the park complex. Even the toilet inside the park is also not good enough. In fact, other than the Gandhi statue, nothing to see or pass time there.

This is a beautiful garden with various types of trees and plants on the bank of beautiful wetlands. Various types of colourful fishes are playing in the water. Trees are also variety in colour and size. There are also some medicinal plants in the garden. There is a huge statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the centre of the garden.

Good place to spend a leisure afternoon or evening. Lots of swings & slides for the kids to have a great time. But the rides & boating needs serious upgrade & maintenance. The garden is picture perfect.

I visited the park in 1998 onwards but very sorry to say it not been upgraded till the date. Its have the old machinery, light, equipment etc. Only the things upgraded it is little more cleanness. As as Indian I cant say I hat the park but I must say I dislike it. & I gone for 2-star.

Calm and serene spot with a huge lake and shrubs . Ideal for families to spend an idyllic evening while the kids romp about enjoying slides, swings, and seesaws. Best part is that there is no crowd to spoil the relaxed atmosphere. Just nature, solitude and ...you. A few pedal boats are available for hire also. Kids may find the solitary merry go round entertaining.

Just for kids and couples, I must say. There are plenty of things in there for the kids to play. One can go for boating too. However, its not advisable to visit after the dark though. Its just like any other park. Nothing exceptional. For the foodies out there, there are plenty of stalls right outside the park.
