Hotel is located about 4km from Airport. Rooms facing back are having good view. They serve decent breakfast at the top floor. At the ground floor there is a bar. Hotel manager and staffs were cooperative. Auto rickshaw normally takes about Rs.40 to Aberdeen bazar (early 2021). Choice of exploring of your own.

Room looks clean but floor and floor mats are sticky. Even the towels have visible stain. There is no drinking water in room. Bathroom is good. Ventilation is poor . Cant even open the window. Overall visit there when u have no other option.

I think this is the BEST hotel to stay in Port Blair. And I have my reasons..1. Perfect Location: Not too far from the Airport, this location is just in the right location. Hills and Ocean visible from rooms. Market in walkable distance. Activa for hire just opposite the hotel.2. Excellent Staff: Anirban, the manager at The Tamarind Tree, is one of the nicest people I have met. Soft spoken, courteous, polite, helpful and smart. Bikram, the staff boy, is super sweet. Always ready with a smile. All others are wonderful too.3. Great Facilities: Running hot water, toiletries, clean linens, great room service, pleasant stay.4. Wonderful food: Order anything on the menu and it is lip-smacking. All fresh and tasty, made with love. Good quality and generous quantity.Overall, 5 on 5 for everything. Highly Recommended.

Hotel is good but location is far from beaches n market. Hotel has AC rooms, bar available, staff very nice.. hotel rooms has sea face but sea is far... Overall hotel is good..

Nice rooms with beautiful rooftop restaurant but service is not that good. Staff not that friendly and is bit away from the main city area

Fighting happens all the time

This hotel was a real pleasure to choose! Really clean and spacious rooms, facility inside the hotel is superb! The staff is also extremely humble and courteous to deal with. We felt more like home by staying there, specially travelling with toddlers. Easy access to airport/jetty/hotels. In the inhouse restaurant of the hotel itself is really great! This choice is an absolute value for money! Thank you to the whole team of Tamarind Tree!

A must visit hotel and restaurant, a beautiful blend of serenity with amazing view. A place that feels home, like you could sit there for hours. A mandatory try for chicken biryani and chicken butter masala! A good place to stay with reasonable price. Service is good and people are very humble. Enjoy!!😊

An amazing experience at Tamarind Tree. Very ideally located, well maintained rooms , super food range and taste...and most importantly, very warm and courteous staff. Strongly recommend for your stay at Port blair. Was also happy with the full tour package provided for our family trip to spend 3N and 4 days at Andamans.

The hotel is quiet, very clean through out, rooms were spacious with everything we needed. Most impressive was the attendiveness of the staff makes this place a must return venue. Delicious variety food. We would highly recommend a stay in this hotel....

Our stay in the newly built hotel was awesome. The rooms are luxurious and the views from the room are very beautiful and mind blowing. We were lucky enough to view the full moon rising it seemed as if the moon is rising from the midst of sea. We had mouth watering sea food cuisines & delicious tandoor. Tha is toitems

Newly opened property and a good option for 1 night transit stay. airport is 10 minutes and jetty is 15 minutes which makes it ideal location to stay. courteous staff and are very helpful. WiFi as usual is a problem everywhere courtesy BSNL

The Tamarind Tree Hotel, in Shadipur Port Blair ..is a perfect location near to Airport with a sea view from the hotel.The service is very good and cozy rooms with comfort mattress..felt like living in our home.Amazing food and breakfast.Above all very pleasing staff and management. Highly recommend for comfortable stay in Port Blair.

Clean rooms and good service, we had a good stay in tamarind tree hotel, needs improvement on wifi facility... Aravind and two other staffs were really good in doing the room service... restaurant needs an improvement and lift facility as well
