We wanted to visit the beach and eat some fish. Check on google we find this place and right away headed there.It’s seems to be the only upper level fish place in all the Beach area.We had some Tatar’s, soup and fish.It was good service and food was quite good.With 3.500 for 3 people it wasn’t cheap but fair for quality and service.We definitely recommend that place.

I enjoyed my spaghetti with seafood. I am sure they make all food as good as the one I’ve tried. If I come back to Odessa, I can say that it’s a place that I would like to visit again.

The bill was ridiculous and shamed on the waiter taking advantage by serving us a 4 person portion for two people. The food was average at most and the view was ok. However I still recommend avoiding Terrace. Sea View and visit some of the other fine establishments near by.

The place looks great and has some nice food as well. But you need to watch out, our waiter kept trying to sell us things which were off menu which were much more expensive... In addition the menu states the price for 100g but the minimum portion size can be 300g or higher sometimes which brings the price way higher and the waiter wouldnt warn you at all.

The staff was great. They spoke Excellent English and also had an English menu. The food was well prepared (probably the best steak I have ever had in Ukraine). The food not only looked amazing but it tasted great too. They also have amazing desserts. I can recommend the Kiev Cake!! The portions are large but the price is too. For a special occasion this place is great. Oh and if you are celebrating a special day....tell them for a pretty cool surprise from the staff. Great place overall...5 stars from me!!

Went there at night with friend while being VERY HUNGRY. Waiting for someone to take the order took 15 mins. Went for roll and salad, but regardless the hunger quinoa in salad felt very hard to chew, even that is was mentioned in the menu “ crispy “. We checked with the waiter, he told us that these are chia seeds and left without waiting for our reaction.After successful attempt to bring him back and showing the menu to him that states “ crispy quinoa “ he proclaimed that the menu WAS CHANGED. So, guys, if you want a decent food and waiters that doesn’t know the menu-go for it, because the menu is compact and easy to figure out by yourself and the place is beautiful :)

What a great place. Such a relaxing, romantic atmosphere, lovable decoration ideas. The quality of food and service is high. Admins and waiters are polite and helpful. Big selection of cakes that look and taste awesome. And tea! Finally the tea is loose big leaf not a teabag what gives it strong flavor and bitter taste (appreciated by strong tea lovers). Great job to all the Terrace team. You made our time out great.

First time I had sushi with undercooked hard rice, salmon tartar had no taste so I had to put a lemon juice over it, second time we came to have a desert, waiter suggested a cake, it tasted like last piece from a 2 weeks old cake that they couldnt sale, coffee wasnt good either 😑Not coming back

They have pretty nice and gorgeous views on the Black Sea. Kitchen is awesome with its interesting servings but not all the time they have all food. Dishes served on time. Prices are high enough.

For all the foreign travelers here, enjoy the seafood in Odessa in some other place because this one was lucky to get a great location with a view but not the quality service or dishes worth the price. You’re going to be amazed to find out that seafood places in US with lobsters on your plate will cost you cheaper than Terrace’s offerings. But, kudos to SMM team that create great branding around this place, and I hope the owners will match the international standards in the near future.

I picked this place as a new one in my list for my mom’s bday celebration. It was important for two of us to have a nice atmosphere, good cuisine and a sea view. The hostess said over phone that sea view tables are booked but she will try to help. In the end we got a lovely table with open windows right in-front of shore! All meals were super delicious, drinks, especially sangria - amazing too. And a bday tasty cake with candle to surprise my mom. Definitely recommend!

Went there today with my dad hoping to get some good food for lunch. Decor and the place inside look pretty, but the food was horrible. Repeating again, horrible. Paid 60-70 dollars for a couple of dishes, but borscht was poorly made, no flavor whatsoever. Portion was tiny. Exactly the same issue with tuna tartar, they used the cheapest kind of fish and was no flavor or spices at all. My last course was dorado. Once again, similar problem - no taste of the fish. Side dish, potatoe gratin was 3 out of 5. This place needs to seriously consider changing their kitchen, because it is just a rip off and the only way they can make money is because of their location. Very upset with my experience.

Ok. This place is fancy! I mean the decorations is over the top, food is tasty, service is outstanding! I am impressed! I see people give less stars because its pricy but you get what you pay for at end of day. Yes, we paid more but we enjoyed more due to atmosphere and decore!

Perfect place to meet sunrise or just the early morning, clean and good service, delicious and healthy breakfast, good coffee, of course Terrace isnt cheap, but you are in Odesa, moreover you are close to the sea, you can observe people are walking around or fellas playing chess, so just relax and enjoy the sea view ;-)

A good restaurant experience is made up of good food and good service. While the food was ok (ok, but not great), the service was not ok. The waiter for some reason decided that I, as a guest, must understand his language. While I spoke Ukrainian to him, he would speak Russian with me all the time. The restaurant management should educate its staff that ethnic discrimination towards guests is not acceptable. And it is also illegal in Ukraine. I will never come back to this place - there is plenty of restaurants in Odesa where I can dine for 4K UAH and they will not be discriminating their guests. Horrible experience...

Romantic, peaceful and cozy. One of the few places in Odessa where you can enjoy gourmet dishes after midnight. Try the mussels in cream sauce.The only issue we found is improper heating and air conditioning, resulting in drafts and cold spots.

My husband and I just had a lovely dinner at Terrace and couldnt be more happy with our meal and our service. Max was very helpful and we had no problems ordering in English. The meal was fantastic as well, I cant wait to go back. Thanks again, Max, for helping make our last night in Odessa so great!

Turned away because my 4 year old son wanted to keep his coat on because it was a chilly day. According to the arrogant staff they have a dress code! We used to go on a regular basis but now we have blacklisted this restaurant.

We really wanted to visit this place for the seafood, especially it having good reviews and such a nice view. But take it no more than a fancy place with overpriced dishes.First of all be aware of what you order, the waiter will try to fool you to order another expensive dish.Secondly, we ordered different kind of seafoods on the grill (served all on a plate), the server brought us twice less the no. of shrimps that we ordered. And when we asked him how many portions there are, he was arrogant enough to say that its the right number. We had to count them in front of him to prove him. And after this, he just said, ok, we will cook more for you now, without even apologizing.After this situation, we were not sure anymore of the other seafoods included in the plate (for which the portions were in grams). The taste was ok. Have eaten seafood in other places, which tasted better and didnt cost a fortune.And dont get me wrong, I do understand that you also pay for the lovely decorations and the sea view, but the food was not worth it and the waiter tries to scam you, it should be at least transparent for what food youre paying and if you got the right portions.

Nice views but ridiculously expensive. For 1 bottle of an average Sauvignon Blanc and an cheeseboard it was nearly $90. You cant trust the waiters here at all.

All good tables with sea view always reserved and you can have them ONLY if you will spend on food and drinks 3,000 UAH (£90 or €100) minimum ! if you try to book online - you will end up with NO table or expensive one! Avoid!

To be honest, I would have given this place more stars but there are way too many buts to do that... 1) before we were seated, we were told we need to put down a deposit for a table (Im sorry WHAT???) Thankfully, a friend who speaks Russian explained that we need to order for a certain amount... Well, okay but the hostess should have done the explaining preferably either in English or Ukrainian (since I dont speak Russian) 2) the waiter was more of a salesman than a serviceman. Dont get me wrong - I appreciate a recommendation but being constantly pushed to buy wine or order food that I am either allergic to or simply uninterested in can be bothersome. 3) once we ordered sushi and drinks (which were decent not out of this world amazing but ok) the waiter disappeared, eventually when we pushed the button to get the check about 4 times - he reappeared. Also, the fact that they do not speak to the client in their language really bothered me, he just assumed I spoke Russian, the same goes for the hostesses, that is a big minus in my book. The place has lovely decor, it is over priced but I can forgive that given the location right on the seashore, however annoying, pushy, sales-type of service doesnt really leave a good impression. I sincerely doubt we will be back.

They scammed us for 500 grivnia over nothingThey boldly slipped 700 UAH charge for 2 watermelon juice glasses we drank saying it was 2 kilo watermelon.After arguing they returned 200 grivnia saying the total cost is 500 grivnia and they cant refund the money.This fake cost isnt written in the menu or anywhere else nor they told us about it before.Beware to check the bill if you decide to take your chance with them

Nice place, good sea view. The food is great, I would recommend European section of menu though. Desserts and coffee are not bad either. The only thing I can really bring myself complain about is the size of some portions - my 300 UAH calimari risotto was so tiny I almost didnt notice it. Thank God the meat courses were bigger. And plus one to previous complains about booking the table - we booked a nice sea view table and when we timely arrived weve found someone sitting there and not going leave anytime soon! But overall the experience was worth it.

Definitely best place to visit in Odessa in summer if you want to eat by the sea. Brilliant atmosphere, live music, beautifful sea view and really delicious food.

Fish and seafood are excellent, but prices are high

Beware, foreigners! The place has questionable business practices! They show the prices for their entrees in 100g and then you end up paying 5 times more than you would expect. The waiter Artyom could see that we were foreigners and obviously not familiar with the local specifics, but he didnt bother to explain how things work in their menu. In our country you pay the price indicated in the menu,you dont buy your food in 100g. So, we paid 5 times more than we expected for our entrees and left with a bitter after taste of being cheated. We would have paid this money without problems if we were told upfront, not a nice way to treat customers. Needless to say that it was our last visit to the place, and we decided to spend our money somewhere else.
