Its a budget hotel in very convenient and fine location of port blair. The staff posted there is very humble and submissive to their guests. Manager guided all the related information about the tour properly. I am fully satisfied with my stay at Hotel Light House Residency Port Blair.

When we reached at hotel, no manager was present there until evening and also was not clean at all however they cleaned later after said. Hotel is ok but not sound maintained, was dirty and smelling. Staffs were good in behave but not good enough to understand Hindi or English to communicate with which was problem for us and only one manager was seen by evening time till 11 PM. No manager was there by daytime. Water problem was seen on the day one and two also, later on they repaired. Manager was good in behave to us. We asked for a extra bed for one extra person, they provided but didnt charge extra money for that. Location was very good, sea facing rooms we have had there and near to Sea North Bay Jetty area and also near to main market bazaar. When we moved out from the hotel room, that time also no manager was seen there.

The location is the best if you choose sea facing rooms. It is very near to water sport museum, the sea acquarium and cellular jail (7 min walking). Cheap Auto service available any time. We went during Ramzan (probably is not the best time to stay here), the restaurant inside the hotel was not functioning, but there is a Bengali hotel next door which cooks good food (Rs60-100/- per meal, although the Biriyani is pathetic). There is a bar on the top floor in the hotel, you may expect little noise if you are just below the roof. The manager was extremely helpful.

This is a budgeted hotel. The property was good and room as comfortable. As such i didnt face any issues. I stayed with my family and good option for a economy stay.

It was really a wonderful stay with this hotel. it was a smooth check in and check out. location of this hotel is really exceptional very comfortable to reach..the only issue with this hotel is that food was not good at all.the taste was very weird, not up to par. Apart from this the stay was really good.

The few things which is surely needed to be changed .1) AC should be changed, the Ac is as old as the island is. There is no control in the ac and that is horrible.2) No room phone is available, if you need something you need to go to the reception.

Hotel is Located in center of the city with good view of city and sea from the room , Rooms are Average and budget Staff was good and helpful, the best part of the hotel its Restaurant the food was very good and delicious.

Enjoyed a lot.sea is visible from the balcony as well as windows of hotel.........

The only problem that I faced during my stay at the hotel was due to slow services from the hotel as well as goibibo. The stay experience at the hotel was average stay!

The service is very poor, the attendants except one were really not attending the guests on call, the staffs were neglecting those guests specially who booked the hotel******
