Its a small space which is an extension of a house masquerading as a restaurant. The owner is sweet and accommodating and will make alterations to the recipes for fussy diners. Dont expect authentic Chinese food and youll be fine. I guess its been tailored to the tastes of the locals. I really dig the retro/nostalgic vibe of the place.

They are chienese settlers from back in the day....dishes are not chienese replica you can say...been from a long time...still didnt made a name for itself

The best place for Authentic Chinese cuisine, the hotel is like a house , neat & clean.The familys origin is from China , moved to Andaman in 1948 who cooks the authentic Chinese style.The must place to visit if wanna have Chinese food 👍

Greetings. only chinese restaurant is Port Blair. Its owner Mr Pan, is the only Chinese in A & N Islands. Restaurant is upstairs, small and cozy. Mr Pan is very friendly guy. food is simple and tasty : wont burn a hole.

This is a hidden gem among the restaurants of Port Blair. Offers brilliant authentic Chinese cuisine at very reasonable rates. The flavors and spices are very different from Indian Chinese food. Its still a family run affair and that gives it a very intimate feel. Theres a no frills ambience that adds to the charm of the place.

Good food. Restaurant is run out of family home, so ambience maybe a bit lacking. Very friendly hosts.Few food items that take time to prepare need to be ordered in advance. So, plan accordingly.

The kind owner is a very humble person. Ancestry from China, he speaks very fluent hindi and local language. He cooks the best chinese food in town and as were lucky that day. He cooked a different dish off the menu.

Nice place for lunch or dinner. Authentic Chinese food and very friendly staff. Feels like home and its a must visit restaurant in Port Blair if you want to try the real Chinese food. Food is not too spicy and not too many sauces is added, like in main land where they add tomato sauce to everything to call it Chinese. Here the sauces are minimum or not used. Cost is higher than main land but not higher than Port Blair standards. Tried Chinese chicken chopsuey - will highly recommend it. The staff is the one who cooks the food, and owns the place, very friendly in nature. No card payment, so carry currency. Its in first floor, so climb the stairs and ring the bell and wait for a friendly smile to welcome you. Landmark - Goalghar junction near Suzuki showroom, ask for Rajasthani Dhaba and look above for Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant.

Awesome place to dine and a very authentic Chinese cuisine and would love to visit again and it was a wonderful experience visiting them and they made us feel special and was touched by the way they interacted with us.

A lovely couple owns and operates Golden Dragon. Eating here feels like an adventure because you walk into a home and meet a couple who are full of warm stories about life in Port Blair and their kids, then the food starts arriving and youre in heaven. Try the lily flower soup and everything else uncle recommends based on whats fresh that day. We had an egg fried rice, fungi prawns, and chilli pork in addition to that great soup, all delicious.
