Opp DLF Avenue- south block is the restaurant, The Mahabelly.South Indian cuisine at its best. Especially Kerala dishes.Had Malabar Parotta and Buff roast.Ordered Chicken Biriyani. Both was good and yummy in taste.Quantity was good.Had Tea( Nadan Chai)too which had great flavor and taste.Would recommend to reserve a table on weekends to avoid delays. If you are a Kerala food lover, u should try this.Try appam also.Thank me later 😂
One of the best Malabar food Ive eaten in Delhi. Recommended by a friend, I came here and boy I was definitely not disappointed by the mood or the service. So impressed that I got my family along the next time and not so surprising that they loved the food aswell. A definite reccomend. Prawn with Mango curry, Chicken chettinad dosa, Prawn Varathathu, Fish fry and their Mushroom Mappas along with Appam and Malabar porotta. Absolute delish.
Indeed the ultimate junction to stop your hungry soul... authentic food from Kerala ..this restaurant undoubtedly serves what it promises...must try Fried Pork,Chicken 65,Fish Cutlet,Green Peas Curry and Malabar Porotta and do not miss the filter Coffee and Payasam ... absolutely lip smacking and finger licking food ...I simply love the warm ambience and the staff is very polite and attentive.Keep growing your belly.Bunch of best wishes Thomas & Zach.
Large variation in the quality of food. In general, it is a good place offering Kerala cuisine. Wish they were consistent in quality.
Great experience! Had the pork and fishVeg stew is greatAppams could be betterFriendly staff
We can see Kerala cuisine board in front of many restaurants in Delhi but verify few serve the real authentic Kerala cuisine, and Mahabelly is one of such few restaurants. Great ambiance and provide an excellent service. Down to earth staff and management. A well known and suggestive place for Malabari-Chettinad cuisine in Delhi. Each and every dish you try here is so authentic. From my personal experience, the combination of fish shappu meen curry (fish curry) and appam was so great and really delicious. The gravy was rich and full of flavours. The management is strictly following all covid protocols with adequate social distancing. I visited two times with my north and south-east Indian friends, and they also gave excellent feedback about the restaurant and food which they serve. It was an excellent experience!.From my personal experience I came to know that, in Delhi, because of the area and hotel management, it is not advisable to go with family and friends (especially women). But Mahabelly is exceptional to this because the restaurant is located in a well-known place and the hotel management provides a great service, so it is advisable to have food with family and friends. The price is a little high but it is worth each and every rupee we spend on food.
Staffs are very polite and supportive. Specially the one bhaiya who served me today.. Also others like RECEIPTent bhaiya is of good behavior.. In terms of taste and price and hygiene the place should be appreciated.. Reccomeded..
Located behind Select City Walk Mall. Its a must visit for titillating your taste buds to some wonderful blend of masalas. Each dish stands out for the complexity of its spices..the balance achieved..the taste just overpowering. The taste of roast or Chettinad or Moily dishes is distinct and a pleasure..though be ready for the hit of chilly in roast variety.Mutton Chettinad is superb as is fish Moily.
Nice place and very nice ambience... Sumit ji was very decent
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Delhi. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal. Staff there are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. For me, being a Malayali, this is definitely home away from home.Keep up the good work guys !!
Absolutely fabulous food. Ambience, service and atmosphere is too notch. This was my first visit and I will definitely be a repeat customer.
This place is magical. From Appams to Chicken 65, and to mutton curry, I cant thank enough to the head chef and the menu curator whenever I visit there. The customer service is really welcoming and exceptional. Hand down the best coastal food in Delhi. Keep at it guys!
Great place to dinner and great food. Even the service was top notch. So we had kerala parota ,prawns, mutton curry, sulaimani. But the sulaimani was not what we expected.Being used to seeing the ustad hotel sulaimani we expected the same but the sulaimani was served in a stainless steel glass instead of tea glass due to which it was pretty hard to take sips of the tea.Well to sum it all up a great kerala restaurant with great food and ambiance. Hope this review helps and you also enjoy the food as much as I did :)
This is the second time Ive ordered Malayali food from these guys (through Zomato) and I have to say its the best Kerala food Ive had in Delhi...well done guys youve got at least one more permanent customer... I stay nearby so next time Ill be visiting this place myself to try some other dishes.
Classic dishes of Kerala. If ones looking for Sadhya the availability might be mostly during festival time - Vishu, Onam or so.
If u r vegetarian or Non vegetarian it doesnt matter...For sure u r gonna enjoy every single bite of food u take...Even the smell of food is awesome...I have tried prawns, chicken, Malabar paratha, ghee rice, nadan paneer, dosa all of those are level apart...The only thought that comes in mind is why is this food ( whatever u order) is getting over... It should never end...Being a Non vegetarian I loved prawns, chettinad chicken...😋😋😋
My new favourite place in town. Cant wait to try their local food served on Fri/sat/sun 🥰
Very bad experience of first time vista. Absolutely disorganized...rude...Unprofessional approach...They have to be polite. We booked Onam Dinner well in advance at 19.00 abd paid online. We reached well in time at 18.50 and were told they are running late so if we can come back at 19.15 and assured that our table will be ready by that time.We thought its ok and went to DLF Mall to spend some time.We came back at 19.10. They were not yet ready and no signs of getting their readiness for another 45 minutes. They were busy in packing take away.We suggested that instead going back to Mall or standing and waiting on road if we can wait inside. We could see enough space inside to wait but they refused. On insistence that its not correct that we wait on road side with family. They did not listen. We objected if they knew that they will be late, they should have informed us in advance over phone as our number was taken online while booking or they should have accepted booking from 20.00 hours onwards. They were very rude and asked us to take our money back. After some heated exchange we decided to take our money back.Similar incident happened in past with one of my friend when they delivered lunch three and half hour late. This is kind of service they provide. Unfortunate and sad
Great food and great service. I tried some nice garlic flavored idli with fresh coconut water. A bit spicy for me however I relished
Love the food available here. Awesome taste. The staff is warm but fail to pronounce the items on the menu correctly.
Food is super delicious. Roasted chicken witn appam is mind blowing here. Must try.
It is one of the best Kerala eateries I have eaten at in my life. The food tastes amazing. Everytime I eat here my belly feels so happy. The service is so fast and food is so fresh and delectable. Love the ambience.
Very bad first time visit experience. Absolutely disorganized...Taking customer granted.. Annoying...They have to be polite. We went to Mahabelly for Onam Sadhya. They had managed the event very well and took adequate precautions to have a covid safe space. The meal itself was absolutely delicious and we ate to our hearts content. I ate so much that my belly turned into a maha belly. I dont know the names of each individual item that they put on the leaf but I know all of them were super tasty.Would definitely recommend.
Great place for Malayalee food! Everything tastes amazing.
Great experience. Especially the service. My service was made by one Mr. Sony ... Great hospitality and taste ....
Taste wise and portion wise this restaurant is the best in South Delhi I have tried. But I have a concern to share, for my very recent 3 orders of Ghee rice, no accompaniments were provided like Salad, Pickle n Papad. Today was my 3rd order, I had updated in cooking instruction about the addition of these accompaniments and it showed as accepted but not received, right after placing the order I tried to reach directly to restaurant number but no response.
Dont ever order from this restaurant online. Theyre looting like anything. I ordered a kallappam and sharjah shake through swiggy. Both were good for nothing. They charged very high and the quantity was very very less. Both had bitter taste too. Totally waste of money. Dear Mahabelly people, its better to go out and do pick-pocketing rather than looting people like this. Shame on you!!!!
My favourite place to eat and have liquor in delhi. Their espresso drink is to die for, as well as mutton ghee roast and chicken 65
Excellent, authentic kerala foodNice ambienceRelatively reasonable price for the dishesMust try if you are around saket
Located near the back gate of select city mall, this is a keralan restaurant serving malabari cuisines. The taste of their cuisines are actually reminiscent of authentic malabari dishes I had in kerala. Most dishes would have a hint of coconut, cinnamon, curry leaves and a spicy hot flavor unique to malabari dishes. There are less spicy dishes too. In this group, I would recommend Prawn Mango Curry, a must try if one is visiting this place. The curries are best had with either parotta or uppam. I loved the prawn mango curry! In appetizers Pork fry is a must try; the pork belly chunks have a generous layer of fat! The fishes may not be available on a busy day because of high demand.P. S. I loved the brass sink in the washroom (picture below👇🏼)
Great ideaTodi available hereAnd the food is good too
Great food quality and service.Value for money.
Mahabelly brings length and breadth of Kerala in Delhi ‘s Saket. Went their for the first time but totally enjoyed the meal. Kothu Parotta was quite unique. Really cherished chicken varratiyathu along with crisp and heavenly malabari parotta. Really wanted to try the payassam but my stomach didn’t allow. Really worth the experience 👏🏻👏🏻
Tried shaap meen curry and steam rice ...matta rice was not available..hmm..was good..but for this price u should give a bit side stuffs like thoran, pickle and all.
Ate the best south indian cousine not dosa but non vegetarian. Tasted prawns, chicken everything was superb
Best parota pothu I ever had !!!Simply said a mind blowing experience
I went there with my Tamilian friend for suggestions with a condition that I wont eat anything Ive already had in my life from south-Indian cuisine. I wanted to try everything new and I knew there were a lot of options. We ordered iddiapam, Kuttu parotta, appam and a vegetable dish made of coconut milk. While I was waiting for my food, I noticed that the interior had quirky decorations with authenticity of South-Indian tradition. The restaurant has good seating capacity and comfortable environment. The staff was courteous and the service was quick. The food was delicious and belly filling too.I enjoyed my time there. It was all good.Food, seats, people, price and the interiors too.
Nice place for authentic south indian non-veg
Authentic Kerala cuisine
Chicken biryani was too too good! I also had malabar paratha and chicken chettinad which were equally awesome. Loved the experience! Highly recommend this place.
Great place to taste Kerala, Central Travancore Region food stuffs
Love it, whenever I crave for appam, molees, mango prawn curry and erachi fry
Finger lickin food... Tried dosa.. 😋
A nice kerala food experience in delhi. Awsome taste, presentation, environment and all to take a family or friendly fooding time. The Malayalam songs played in the hotel is soo cool and awesome.. i feel a very good and pleasent experience at Mahabelly. The hospitality of the employees are also good.. in over all the highlight is the awesome taste of food. we can feel the real taste of kerala..
Good authentic finger licking Kerala food..worth repeating
First visit here. Have heard a lot about this place from friends and colleagues. Good food. Authentic south Indian , good comfort food. Will definitely visit again for more.
Amazing experience. The food was extremely extremely tasty. I had prawn mango curry with appam and rice. And also surmai fish roasted with masala in a banana leaf. The staff were really cordial especially Vishal and govind.
Bringing authentic veg and nonveg Kerala cuisine to Delhi. One of the best places to try out for people good, spicy non veg kerala delicacies.. Their best fish dish is karimeen pollichathu and Pepper Prawns.. Their red meat dishes are good too.. If you can handle spicy dishes. Parrotas are a must have with these spicy dishes and even their idiammaps are good..
Was good.. kerala style cooking..
Loved it!! The parota could have been better. The prawn roast was good and so was the Chicken 65. Even their Appam was good. Do try out their Sulaimani Chai.
I came to know of Mahabelly, through one Fb Post, claiming its the only restaurant in NCR, providing authentic Malayali Food. Being a vegetarian, we ordered Vegetable Korma, Parota, Appam and Steamed Rice. The food was good, aroma in the restaurant as well as the restaurant itself was good, but it wasnt anywhere closer to authentic Malayali. May be its for non-veg; my opinion is solely based on vegetarian food.
It was a nice experience and the food was also fine. However the restaurant might do even better if they spruce up the ambience and maybe work on the presentation of food a little bit more.Otherwise definitely a good option if you want to try a different cuisine.
Loved the food, for a change its not your typical Southern restaurant serving dosa idli sambar. This is delicious kerala cuisine, if you eat non vegetarian food they have some amazing dishes. I really enjoyed the food and service here. It gets super busy on weekends specially on Sunday lunchtime so plan accordingly and get there early or get reservations.Nice ambience and they have some interesting & funny artwork on the walls. Its little pricey compared to other southern restaurants but their food is well worth it.
Great food and great placeMind it ..you dont get dosa served on Saturdays ..other than that nice ambience and very nice malyali food
I belong to Kerala ..and there is no place else I can get authentic kerala food ..this delicious..

Authentic kerala cuisine. Good ambience. Wallpics depicting kerala cuisine culture is attractive. A bit overpriced. The staffs should improve. Overall good
Excellent Kerala Food and ambience. Authentic Malayali food. Great for family and friends. Yes Alcohol is served here. Friendly staff and the decor makes it a memorable experience. Loved the food and their hospitality. Will visit soon 😘
