I had wonderful experience when I went for my C1/D visa interview. I was very much worried. Very smoothly by maintaining social distance I have entered inside. There were four counters for the interview. We moved place to place very smoothly. It was just 5 minutes interview and I was successful. I thank God for such beautiful day. August 27th 2021.

My experience was really good. Everything is well in order. If youre going there with someone, hand them your electronics, and they can wait for you in front of embassy. There is a waiting area. Also, In waiting area you can submit your phone, as well as bags. So even if youre alone, no need to worry. Basically a very well operated and all the facilities are provided keeping the needs and necessities of candidates.

Highly secured place, I was checked througly 2 times one by the security outside and then by the security inside. You can keep your mobile in the opposite counter they take around Rs. 50 for mobile. Take out your passport and move forward the gates and doors are quite heavy to open need to push them hard😅. I was bit nervous that day, but is was done. And dont try to take pictures infront of security guard they might take your mobile.

The saw me on an emergency matter for me and was very polite and helpful. Kelly and the lady (sorry do not remember her name) who helped very professional and supportive of Americans in a foreign country. Great work and again thanks from the bottom of my 💖

It was a nice experience, there is a locker available to keep mobile phones and they are charging 50 rupees for that. If your interview is at 11 AM also you can go to location by 8 30 to 9 they wont ask to wait outside they send you inside for interview process

It was quick, easy and well organized. There were two times security check; one time screening on the road side and second time inside the consulate. On the road, there was a private locker who took 50 rs per item to deposit like cellphone as it is not allowed inside. I did not see any rejection till the time I was there as mostly these are genuine cases during pandemic. Although few people were asked many questions than the others which is obvious.

Very nice & friendly staff I go for my daughter passport renewable they helping me to get her passport.

All staff is extremely professional and ready to help, which makes experience really straightforward.There is a small cubicle where you can deposit your phone/electronics/bags outside the embassy. Once youre inside, the ushers will guide you as to where to go, where to sit etc.Autos are easily available at the gate.

Scam alert 🚨 Scam alert 🚨I think USA embassy Indian staff( staff standing in front of Delhi embassy) are running some side business on visa applicants. Please be aware of passport size photographs scam. In general, passport photographs are not required to attend the visa interview. However, Delhi embassy staff told me that without photographs they won’t allow me for interview. They will refer you to nearby photo shops, where photo cost is 300rs. I think Delhi embassy Indian staff get commission from these photo shops nearby.

Wonderful experience at US General Consulate Mumbai.My interview was scheduled in June 2021. Visa Approved and I’m in United State now. Similarly my friend (girl) interview was scheduled in May 2021, Visa Approved. She’s in United State now.Therefore, people don’t be panic. Just check official website. Contact via Email if yours Medical or something else expiring soon, otherwise you have to start from zero.Keep checking website for latest date available!Good Luck Guys!!!

Absolute thorough professionals. This is everyone from the security staff to the consular officials.Not crowded at all. There is a small booth outside to deposit your phone. You are allowed to take your wallet inside the embassy. So do not fret. But leave all other luggage behind at home/ hotel.

Obviously its us embassy so they have a big set up and big building area. But one thing disappointed me that they dont have any shelter for the vis candidates in the rainy season. The security people will not let u to stay under their shelter. Such a big disappointment right???? And a small thing that they dont provide cup or glass to drink water. They want you to give your visa interview with thirsty throat. God bless them...

Good, you can keep your phones, laptop, flash drives and other electronic items in a locker just outside the embassy. No bags are allowed. This facility is run by an individual and is not related to embassy. After security screening near the locker outside the embassy, an employee will verify your passport details and let you inside. There will be another security screening inside the embassy once its done and you need to wait at designated waiting area. You will be called by staff to go further inside to visa section and you will be interviewed by the Embassy officials.

Arrangements inside embassy are good but for people accompanying the applicant there are no seating arrangements.

I had been to USA in 2007 on 10 yrs multiple visa and I spent there a month only , and returned back to my home town in India. High security protocols were applied in my last visit. We need to deposit our electronic articles at a counter outside the embassy. For each article you need to pay Rs 50. Be careful as if you carry more you need to spend more accordingly

There is no parking for visitors, no vendors around. Visa applicants can use small locker facilities just for mobiles, keys and wallets after paying nominal fee. Nearest parking at malcha Marg market which is 5-7 minutes of walking distance.

Good experience. I booked an early morning appointment and everything went very smoothly, they were taking good care about social distancing and speed of processing was also good. One thing though, the waiting area is outside in the sun so if you are coming with someone else who will wait for you, they might have to sit in the heat there, so prefer early morning appointments if possible.

U.S embassy is highly protected with security personals. If you are going alone for a visa or anything please try not to carry any accessories like smart watch, phone, rings etc.And dont worry they will ask only basic questions until you are not apply for H1V visa 🤣

Pretty supportive staff. Plan atleast an hour extra, the traffic in Delhi is very unpredictable.If you are late, call them in advance, they may adjust you. If not, youll have to reschedule the fingerprint apportionment as well.

December 20201. Best security, best atmosphere...uffff..all okay, but where has the true morality gone ?2. They make money by playing with our visas (F1,B1 etc). They randomly choose to reject or accept based on funding they get from unknown parties.3. They are BAISED !4. maintenance of property 👌5. No sense of rationality and morals.6. Pathetic management ❌7. But, friends, I would request you to go here for getting VISA approval. Theyre not money minded people especially with the common public 😊. They also(sometimes) have good heart. So, for those who are applying for US VISA, dont hesitate to apply here(if youre from Delhi).

Done with the H1B visa stamping interview today. It. Went smooth . Reached there by 11:05 am and done by 11:15 am.There is a locker outside so you can leave your stuff there (mobile and all electronic gadgets like apple watch etc. charges 50 -100 INR).Only documents are allowed and no bags inside premises. Thermal scanning inside for COVID-19.Documents asked in interview :1. I-7972. Passport3. Client letter

US embassy is top.Needs some sitting arrangements outside for people traveling from far.

I am posting it only to let people know about the facilities available outside EMBASSY .Below are pictures of storage area where you can keep your phone , Electronic gadgets , laptop and bags safely . Charges depends upon item you want to keep in the locker . For a mobile phone , Its Rs.50 .Here you can also some tea , bhelpuri and some other snacks from street vendors that keep roaming here and also here you can sit and relax as its a waiting area as well.

Great service and supporting staff. My appointment was of 8:50 am, so they allowed me to enter in the 1st batch into the embassy. Their is a waiting area at the intersection of the Nyaya Marg and 2nd Cross Rd. They also started the locker facility in the waiting area for electronic devices with fees ( I am unaware of the fee amount).Staff practices COVID-19 rules and regulations and they also make sure that the interviewees also follow them.

But why dont they arrange for shelter or waiting area for visitors

Embassy area is quite clean, visa interviews are quick, might take you around 30mins in-n-out.Keep an eye on the way as you can enter only from the rear side and there are almost no u-turns allowed in embassy area. Follow google maps, it has the correct location and way.

US Embassy at Chanakyapuri is the diplomatic office of the Government of USA in India. Popularly people know an Embassy for getting a Visa, but beyond this they have various activities in India.

Arrive half hour early! During COVID times the embassy has some precautions in place so do arrive half an hour early irrespective of what your application form/appointment confirmation states.

Very professional staffs. Time management was neatly arranged. Every staff out their was doing their best. The officer who took my interview was very polite and had a very pleasant attitude. People who are going for the interview alone not to worry. Because the staff are very professional and ready to help you with your queries from gate to till the exit. The office is well organized. For the interview, questions will be asked as per the type of Visa you are applying for .Other than the required documents and the passports they wont let you to take anything else to the embassy. So its better to keep everything in the locker outside the embassy including your mobile phones. Strictly smart watches are prohibited.

Very well organised and fast processing. Please be honest, provide right details and you will get the visa. I saw a lot of people were saying things that were super funny and fake. Please be honest and give answer to the questions they ask. Don’t add anything extra on your own. It has to be to the point. Lastly, try to fill in your form yourself and don’t take help from agents. My experience was good. Due to high security area , no parking available here. You can deposit your mobile outside in a small cabin on the charge of ₹50.Thousands of people reach here for Visa interview everyday but all the process goes very smoothly. If you are on time all the process including interview will complete in one hour only.

If you are accompanying someone make sure you wear sweater /jacket. Bring water for yourself be ready to stand or wait outside.

Hell place. There is no facilities available for visitors. There is a long queue in hot summer in outsideThere is no parking space.Electronic accessories is deposited at very high prices.It will be better if you will by auto or taxi or someone you know. If he can wait outside

The autos are such a nuisance here, they keep pestering you even after a NO.The staff and security are at best behaviour though.

I visited during the pandemic and the safety arrangements were very good. Overall, a well managed building and great staff!

My wife and kids went for the interview in the first half and surprisingly they were out within 40minutes and that too with their visa approved. My guess, applicants are already vetted properly before they appear in front of the counter. There is a small shack outside which charges Rs50per item for safekeeping mobiles etc. Autos too are parked around the same place and are easy to hire. Inside the embassy all the processes were smooth and definitely regulated with lines constantly moving. A good experience and efficient service.
