We recently stopped over for lunch at Dera and had their Biryani and Dahi bada. And we ended the meal with their Chai.The positives were that its halal and the dahi badas were great.Biryani was ok not the typical taste of Pakistani Biryani.Chai was too much doodh and less tea leaves. Not a good cup of tea sadly. 😕Overall their serving size was great.Strangely they never checked our vaxicode which is required of eating out at restaurants.

Amazing food! Perfect spice proportion in all meals that I have tested so far. Lamb quality is the highest I have tested in all Pakistani restaurants I have visited so far. Perfect for family events, dates or even a business meeting. Ill go back there certainly

Be careful people before eating dera restaurant I order chicken kabob when i eat. i got small piece of metal then I complained dera restaurant owner they told me will take care next time.I want to give zero start but there is no option

Great place to dine-in or take-out .Could improve seating arrangements as to 4 people per table. I am normally alone but have to take a seat of six or more. Food quality, specially naans are mmmmm !

I ordered 5 items on uber eats from here.1) Lahori Paya, I ordered two and only received one. The taste was ok2) Tandoori shrimp: You will get 6 small rubbery shrimps for 12 CAD also the shrimps were not very tasty.3) I ordered Fish fry and probably this is the only good item for this order. The fish was pretty good and it was value for money4) Ordered rasmalai and received a bowl of white creamy soup which I thought looked like rasmalai, so after finishing my meal when I thought it would be desert time, I was shocked to see that the white creamy thing was actually RAITA (sour yogurt)So my rasmalai was also missing. This was really careless how come you completely miss two items? Very much dissapointed. Attached the creamy raita picture

We have been to many desi restaurants. This was probably the worst one. They gave us naans with butter on it and we ordered paratas. The service there is horrible. They only have 1 person serving Atleast 10 tables at a time. It will take forever for them to serve you. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

I don’t know how they did it but recently the food is so good!! It’s fresh and super tasty. My fam and I went there twice this Month and I went once last month, no disappointment !!! It was really good!! ❤️❤️❤️ hope it says this way

Had a marvellous lunch with them. Almost 5 out of 6 times I come across this area, either I take out or dine in. Almost tried every other items there. Mouth watering flavours are to say the least. Nice people too!

I’ll start off with appetizers like we do in a restaurant:We ordered Reshmi tikka and Paneer tikka masala and both were terrible. Reshmi was uncooked and paneer was heated up.Main course was not bad both chicken and lamb items were fine but nothing exceptionalAnd for some reason, we got rotis and naan with our appetizer which I don’t understand why and even the dough wasn’t done properly.Lastly, i ordered masala tea and had to spit my first sip.Overall, horrible experience

This restaurant used to have delicious dishes. I went here many times. Many people used to ask me why do I eat here as they never had a good experience. Unfortunately, today I would say the same thing. I ordered chicken soup, fish pakoras. I ate these things before many times but today it was a disaster. None of the food tastes like food, tasted more like nothing. I rather have a granola bar than eat here ever again. Im not even a fan of granola bars so imagine how horrible the taste was. Please save your money from being wasted here.

I ordered chicken pulao for pick up. I went there, I paid and they said mecto wait for it. When they gave it to me I noticed that packing was different. I checked it right away and it was something else. I told her that I didnt ordered this. She started behaving rude and she said that we changed it for our customers. I said that sorry whatever meat it is, I dont want to eat it. Please change it. She refused to change it. Than I said her to refund the money and she again refused. So I left the food there and she didnt refunded me the money. please check your food always before paying.

Visiting Montreal for a month. Tried a couple of things alreadyand gonna give some insights.HALEEM - DONOT ORDER HALEEM. It wasnt HALEEM, it was something else. Got my stomach upset..Beef biryani- wasnt Biryani, colourd rice with some beef pieces.Seekh kabab was OK.Kabab masala was not as described in the menu. In their menu it appears the kabab masala is karahi style but it was Seekh kabab in butter chicken gravy.Nihari was OK with a lot of useless pieces, mostly bones. Got stomach upset after that as well.They really need to work on their menu and items. Not a good representation of pakistani food.

Extremely bad management, I called them around 9:20pm to reserve the table, the lady told me no need to reserve you can come, as closing time is 11pm, just try to come before 10pm. I drove all the way from Lasalle to the Restaurant and reached by 10:03pm but they refused to consider dine in. They should inform over the phone or prebook to avoid the hassle.

Tried biryani here as friend recommended. Biryani tasted bland the meat was old, could smell the rot. The size of the biryani serving was surprisingly small for its price. Dissatisfaction is an understatement. Never going back or letting anyone I know go again. Simply waste !

I was trying to eat in peace and there is this dude seems to be a responsible in the restaurent listening to his Indian radio very loud.. he was on the other side of the restaurent and it felt like he is sitting beside me, this is how loud it was.. there is always something weird happen everytime i come hereSlow service.. dirty dishes and spoons forks knifes. Quite simply, among the most disgusting and rotten food weve ever been served.From the exterior, it looks like a secluded, corporate law office. The interior is clean enough and has a banquet hall feel.Upon seating, which was easy because the place was empty, we noticed immediately that all of the cutlery and glassware was filthy. Photos attached, we were shocked and had them replaced.We ordered simple, standard dishes we were familiar with and it came fairly quickly. But the shock was instant...The chicken samosas were piping hot - and one bite revealed that they were VERY rancid. The odor (stench really) was so strong it almost made me gag and I had a mouth full it!We told the server, she took them away. Another dish she brought out (we dont know what it was, we didnt order it) was supposed to make up for the foul samosas. It didnt. We stirred it around in the bowl and it was just so unappealing that we didnt touch it. The butter chicken had clearly been from frozen and still was barely edible. We both had the distinct impression it came from a can.Overall one of the worst dining experiences weve had. Filthy tableware, rotten meat portions and canned dishes are shameful.We caught a peek inside the kitchen and almost threw up. We left and they insisted on charging us for food a dog wouldnt eat. Never, ever again.Dont let the grand ballroom styling fool you. Tbis dump needs to be shut down, immediately.We are big fans of Indian food but this experience almost killed it for us.For real Indian food and an incredible treat, go to Maharani just a few blocks away.

I had twice bad experience like i ordered kashmiri tea and it tasts really bad like the milk smell was so giving me feel to vomit 🤮The chicken roll sandwich was so dry and not easy to eat and the chicken samosa was worst the chicken was not cooked well so the smell on uncooked chicken was really bad!!!The only tasty food i received was onions kulcha A NAAN basicallySorry but SANA RESTAURANT just on the next door is much much better!!!

This place has great food and service,I just personally find the set up is a bit weird but can’t really complain! They have amazing naan’s Pakistani style and their fish pakoras and wow! Also order the Chciken corn soup not many south Asian Restos offer this dish or make it right but these guys just know exactly how to do it! If you haven’t given this place a shot yet, check it out it’s worth the drive and experience !
