Had a take out today. Amazing food , garlic nan soft with plenty of garlic, Lamb Rogan Josh lamb just melts in your mouth, Saag just like mum use to make and Riata great with lots of garnish. Enjoyed the great meal and want to thank everyone at Flavours of India. Keep up the good work guys. Finally didnt hurt the wallet either Ranjit

We had meal two times here at time of our visit at Montreal, awesome food, very well cooked, no more oil, not too much spicy , same taste , I understand person who cook food is very good.

July 19 2021 I order 1 daal makhni 1mix veg and naan chana bhatura. i 50 out of 100 give to the daal makhni only everything garbage waste my money I am an Indian. If somebody ask me any Indian restaurant I cant suggest this one.

Uneven quality of dishes. Good ambience and service.

Last night I picked up butter chicken from six restaurants and compared their qualities. Flavours of India had my favorite butter chicken (Chand Palace and Bombay Mahal tied for second).The butter chicken was a little more tomato-y than its competitors, which brought an excellent acidity to the dish without tasting like pizza sauce (something Mahli Sweets and Maison India Curry failed to achieve).Most importantly, the chicken was grilled before being sauced. This particular touch added a unique smokiness, texture and moisture that the other butter chickens lacked.I cannot vouch for any other dishes as of yet, but the stellar dish I did have warrants 5 stars.

Food is good and the prices too. I suggest you to taste the different breads. 🙄

Had ordered yday via Ubereats Saag chicken and daal makhani..both items were really good with distinct taste and quality,quite better from so many typical Indian restaurant s in Montreal..hope I would get same satisfaction in next order

Nice food... I came from Quebec city to have the food here.

Saag paneer, chicken with ginger, and naan were all fantastic. Perfectly spiced and naan was fresh and crisp. Service was somewhat cold and brusque, especially since the staff seemed to be friendly to those at other tables, and I am very polite and patient.

Great south indian resto. they dont underseason for the average Québécois palate as well.

Have been a semi-regular client of this restaurant for 5+ years, and I had noticed that the quality of service had gone down considerably in my last few orders - including frequent missing items. Today I placed an order for dal tadka; when the food arrived, it was the wrong dish - something non-vegetarian that I could therefore not eat. I was annoyed but I still wanted the dal tadka so I placed another order and after an extra 45 minutes of waiting received the food. It was the wrong dish AGAIN. Luckily I had tagged on a backup dish to my second order so I ended up eating that instead, only to find that it was extremely over-salted. Not sure if I will ever return there.

Usually order their food for family functions and never had a complaint. Everyone loves the samosas.

This is one of my favourite Indian restaurants, they have yummy samosa chats, chicken kadai and garlic naan. It’s like authentic Indian food, you can tell the chef to make it more spicy if you like more spicy like me. I always tell the chef I’m every restaurant I go! Lol!But I love love this place

We dropped in at 3:30 in the afternoon, expecting the buffet to be pretty tired but hoping to find something edible.Actually, all the selections were fresh-looking - even the nan bread - and the several we tried were quite tasty. Only two samosas were left, so we took one. Minutes later, without any request from us, the waitress told us she has added freshly made ones.So, good food and equally good service, in a spotless, pleasantly decorated room. All this at a reasonable price.

Went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary with family. After reading many reviews, I chose this place and it was fantastic. The inside is quaint and there was a lively evening vibe. The food is very tasty and fresh. We ordered an assortment of dishes to taste test and each one was as flavorful as the other. The waitress was as accommodating as she could be given that the restaurant was very busy and she was the only one taking the orders. Ice water was immediately put on the table. The appetizers came out lightning fast. We had to wait a bit for the main dishes, but it was well worth it. I met an acquaintance there who lives in the area. She told me she’s tried all the other Indian restaurants within the close radius but always comes back to this one. it’s also BYOB, a definite plus. We will certainly be going back. Definitely worth a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Family run. I had an issue getting my phone call through, and but they gifted me a delicious coconut dessert (rasmalai) to apologize, which was very thoughtful. Their eggplant (baingen bhartha) rivals other restaurants in the area, totally bang for your buck. Thanks for staying open!

The best butter chicken I have ever had! I suggest eating here for lunch on a weekday since they offer an all you can eat buffet for under 10$ (tax not included) per person! I highly recommend this place for some classic northern Indian (Punjabi) cuisine!

Definitely the best Indian food on the block, if not the whole city. And the best prices. Staff are super great. I give it 5 stars. A bonus star would go to improving the little side salad with some yogurt stuff. Ill never eat anything else again. Ill gladly eat this once a day, so happy I live a stones throw away. (I only eat once a day)

We’ve tried quite a few restaurants in the neighborhood and this is one of the best. It is however quieter than the other popular ones which is a plus. Great flavors and BYOW or beer. Yummy!

I visit this place number of times in last 2-3 months. you people are too too good for the taste and quality of food and no doubt your price is also very genuine. The only thing which makes me to give you one one star is your buffet section, you guys need to work alot on this portion. Each and every time i have to wait ( very long waiting time on serious note) for food items refilling. this slow service make the whole dine worst. Either rise price or whatever but service should be good for atleast dine-in customers, thats what i think.

Since years visiting this restaurant run by a chef himself .Quality of food and taste is very good . Surprised many time people were in queue on just next door but dont try this place not sure why. Same thing happens to me and I tried this one few years back and now I am regular visitorOne must try. Nice restaurant to go

Good food, quite place, I always go there

This is a great restaurant, but unfortunately, its competing with 4 others in a radius of about 100 meters. It feels empty most of the time, but that also means no wait (most of the time). Its not my favourite place for butter chicken, but I recommend mango chicken, which some of their competitors dont have. Jalfreizi Lamb is also very good.

Went for my birthday lunch but was really disappointed with taste of the food.. if you like ketchup then this is the place for you but if you dont you know the answer! No flavour same taste, very spicy and just ketchup.I went there by looking at ratings online but highly disappointed😐

Very bad food , no tasty , not worth visiting this place..

All the items were okay.. not too good. Gulab jamun and naan were good. Overall the food taste was average. The reason I gave 2 stars is because of the cutlery being very dirty. It’s like they don’t clean them at all. We have to wash our spoons and clean them.

Worst indian cuisine i ever visited in montreal....Served preserved chicken which was not at all edible..and the crew were totally irresponsible to the customers and very arrogant in behaviour..Not at all suggested to anyone.

Well priced buffet with good variety!!

The food is okie okie and the waiter is so mean to the customers. She literally pulled menu card from our hands while we are looking into it. The restaurent has to change the waitress.

After trying all the different Indian restaurants on Jean Talon, I settled on this. Their buffet is excellent value as well! And their staff is nice & friendly.

Its my third time buying non veg thali from here and two times the rice was undecooked and one time the veg curry was burnt. They have to check before packing food as we aint ignorants paying and taking garbage. period.

I thought I didnt like Indian food until I came to this one. Came here during lunch hour with friends from work, the restaurant serves buffet at lunch hour at a very reasonable price. Its not a huge selection - there were 8 dishes, 2 salads/fruit, and homemade naan. But they were all so tasty, we stuffed as much as we could and I kept thinking about it hours after lunch, would definitely come back again.

Their chicken tikka masala is the reason I keep visiting. Prices are very affordable and you cant beat the quality of their biryani either. Very happy with this place, my main location for Indian food.

Amazing food and a BOYB. Not going to lie I keep going back. That being said I must be a sucker for punishment. The wait staff...tolerates us, thats until you have to pay. More often than not the debit machine doesnt work and we have to pay cash. The last 5 ish times my boyfriend and I had to empty our wallets to pay our bill. Not the best impression.

A good place with a different taste that of home cooked food

Very unassuming place. Passed by this place so many times but never thought of giving it a try. Recently was recommended by a friend. So I visited the place last weekend. I am quite surprised! The food is quite good. Prices are very reasonable. Service is a little slow, but its okay. I highly recommend the appetizers. The papri chat is really delicious. So is the aaloo tikki chat. Also try the mango shake. really delicious!

Massive fan of indian food and this one doesnt disappoint

I personally believe that this place serves one of the best vegetarian food in Montreal. I especially like their dal tadka and dal makhani. Even their chicken items are delicious. Lamb biryani is one of their tastiest dishes.

This is one of the best indian restaurants I have dined at! Their portions are very generous and meals are absolutely delicious! I usually get their Veggie Thali with Shahi Paneer. 👌

The worst service a customer could ever experience at a restaurant. The staff was very rude and the food was not edible at all..The chicken tasted stale.The reception lady was very very rude.
