Got a little bit lost because the name of the place is Cuppa Joes but still the food is so good and the staff are just awesome.

Love this place! Great fresh menu, something light or heavy depending on your mood, backed up by great drinks. Also a quiet and bright place, good for little kids too :-)

Great staff, great coffee, great food. Couldn’t recommend this neighborhood coffee shop more. The staff has been great, especially during this lockdown. Always friendly and welcoming. The coffee and food is always fresh and delicious. Just wanted to take the time to give them a five star review they deserve.

The coffee here is made pretty well. It’s my weekly go to.It’s currently being renovated (so it’s closed) but I’m looking forward to the end result.It would be great if they could get on board with Hey You app for pre- order but you can call in to order in advance.

Absolutely brilliant little cafe tucked away into Merewether. Was recommended this place by my partner who came here over a year ago, got the veggie tacos and thoroughly enjoyed them.Now, a cafe can change a lot over a year, but dudes my partner was still impressed a significant amount by this places food and service even now!!With great food, affordable prices and close access to the beach, youll definitely want to make Drift Food and Coffee your daily summer go!10/10 team! Nice open and sunny place to have a meeting. Went here before learning about loose fill asbestos insulation at the nearby club. Only issue was it was hard to find a clean table! Each one was filled with dirty plates which just werent cleared by the staff!

Best staff and coffee in Merewether.Easily.

I’ve visited here 6 times and every time I go I’m hopeful things have improved. To my dismay.The tables, chairs and floor are constantly covered in food crumbs. Front of house staff are lazy, slow and uninterested.I once ordered a soft drink and watched 3 people who ordered after me receive their coffee before I got my drink (waited 15 min and only 5 people in the store) When I asked the staff I was rudely spoken to.It’s a real shame because it’s location is great, the food is good and there’s no other choice in the street.Please pull the socks up!

If you like being hungry and waiting over 50mins for food when its not busy then this is the place for you. Poached eggs on toast can be complicated and take a long time to make so its great that when it came out that it was undercooked and hard to stomach.But I had great company as I had breakfast with my beautiful girlfriend :)

Nice friendly staff but that’s about it :(Coffee is average sometimes ok. After 4 visits I have given up on expecting good coffee. This time we decided to eat and it was not great. Table of 5 two meals came out 23min before the rest resulting in a 40min wait for breakfast for 3 of us. It was busy but not that busy and the wait staff could not deliver the right meal to any of the tables... time and time again we were asked if this was our meal and the same was happening to other tables. It’s a shame they could make a killing but everything is sloppy.

The young woman at the til greeted me with a smile then promptly walked away to polish a glass in the kitchen while I stood waiting to order a coffee. Polishing glasses is a great and noble thing to do but could possibly be postponed until after your paying customer is served. Roll on 10 mins and no coffee. I wander back inside to enquire as I thought I may have been overlooked as I was sitting out the front. No apology for the delay just a statement that it has been busy with take aways and that your coffee is on it way. Roll on another 5 mins and the coffee.. which was really good.. arrived.The thing is .. there were several staff working.. inefficiently. Get a better system guys!!

I ordered my food and coffee at about 8 03 am at 844am I got up to leave. It took 20 minutes for the coffee to come out and 40 minutes for a big breakfast which I had to get take away. Rediculois. I will not be going back.
