Been going to Kam Shing(MTL and Laval) for almost 30 years. The quality has been consistent and good over that time period.Friendly staff and quick service make of it our choice for Chinese food.

Hard to review. Good place for a family to eat at low price and soft taste. For my part i preferred to have my plate with more taste. But in the same time i may not chose thr speciality. To retry one day.

Really great! I had their yang chow fried rice, general tao, salt and pepper squid. All were really good, portions are gigantic. Service was quick and courteous. This is my go to Chinese restaurant!

I will give 5 stars for their food, because it is delicious.However, only 3 stars for the way they do orders now during shutdown.Do not bother to order by phone, because everybody has to stand in the same line, and wait their turn regardless of whether you phoned in your order or placed it when you get there.I phoned in my order, and was there when they told me to be, but I had to wait behind 10 people ahead of me in line. My food was sitting on the counter the whole time getting cold until it was my turn.Someone ahead of me was freaking out and yelling because he could see his food, but had to wait while others ahead of him placed their orders.There were two customer service people at the cash so Im not sure why they cant serve the walk-ins with one person, and hand out the food as people come to pick it up with the other customer service person.They really need to reorganize the way they do business during the shutdown.

Although 25 yrs in business, it was our first time at this Cantonese/Szechuan restaurant. As we are still in Code Red virus level, no sit down seating in play but the takeout service was polite,, bilingual and friendly. Order process was quick and food was prepared with reasonable wait time.The won ton soup was filling and tasty, peanut butter dumplings and beef & snow peas were good. I love pineapple chicken and unfortunately did not hit the mark (dry, doughy,sauce not tasty like it should). Noodles with scallions and ginger were decent.Overall I would say the meal was satisfying but was not a homerun ⚾ . We took into account the transport time which can affect textures of food but will return to try other items on the menu to see if a better experience can be achieved.

Very tasty Asian food! They General Tao chicken and Wonton soup are especially delicious.Service is decent but like many Asian restaurants sometimes the language barrier causes issues. We were served calamaries that we never ordered😂Nonetheless, I still highly recommend this restaurant

One of the best Chinese takeout places in Laval. Everytime I ordered for takeout the packaging is perfect, the food in consistently good and the lady behind the counter is awesome. Tip her well and youll get a crazy amount of Fortune cookies. This place is my go-to for Chinese takeout because of their extensive menu. Doesnt matter if youre vegetarian or not, they have everything you could think of and the portions are large. Youll never leave this place not satisfied.

Great selection of Cantonese and Mandarin dishes. The portions they give you are very generous, not to mention delicious. When I mean generous, I mean youll most probably be taking food to go unless you come with friends or family.

Quantity, but definitely not quality.Food is below average. Dumplings were tasteless and not drained properly making the peanut sauce watery. Sesame beef tasted like it was marinated with bold steak sauce and fried rice was over cooked.We complained to waiter and manager, but no one cares. High production environment. Get them in and out as fast as possible. Horrible experience.

Great food 5/5! Quick service, but not overly friendly. Not rude or anything, just more interested in the job then the people. Poor ambiance. No music. No real decor to speak of. But honestly, the food makes up for all of it! Nice crispy tender general tao. The peanut butter dumplings are amazing. Kids love it. The hot tea on the table upon arrival is a great bonus as well. Well definitely be back. I do recommend for food with friends. The plates are all large plates the table shares. So the more people you are, the more diverse menu items you can try.

I went there for a quick lunch with my dad who calls himself the Asian food connoisseur!Seriously, we were surprised and thought it was quite good considering its location and lack of Chinese competitors!Their 10$ lunch menu with a soup and a roll! The food was ok, for a craving for chinese food during the week. Is it because i am asian that the service sucked? Because the waiter, old man, was very friendly with others nationality. Missing some music, i felt like everyone was listening to everyone conversations. Sorry, i am not sure if i will come back. Didnt feel welcoming.

Horrible service, Ordered take out.Sauce all over the containers because they decide to put it in a carton box. The lady at the cash, blames me because she claims I dropped the food.All this to say, learn to serve takeout food the right way and proper packaging. Don’t tell me that this is normal like you did since you knew your packaging has a problem for sauces.

Great restaurant with even greater food. I have had my fair share of bad experiences due to the staff though. A waiter once took away our dish of Cantonese style noodles that we had been waiting 50 minutes for, and all he said was wrong order even though we did order it. This was on my mothers birthday and we got no compensation for this rude gesture and ended up waiting another 30 minutes for food.

The food is great, we always get take out. Our first time eating at the restaurant was not great. The service was very slow, the waiter forgot our drinks, and one of our plates. I would definetly suggest take out only.

Nice (family owned) place to have authentic Chinese cuisine. Reasonably priced, simple relaxed ambiance, plenty of parking space. Enjoy!

Very tasty Chineese cuisine. We ate fried rise with vegetables, noodles with chicken and vegetables, and General Tao chicken. Portions are huge. I though ather people also was not able to finush and took home the dest. Staff is very friendly and polite. Prices are inexpensive, specially compare to the Brazilian restaraunt beside it where we should pay aroun $50 for each person before taxes and tips. In this restaurant we paid $52 for three of us an this includes all taxes and tips. It is looks like they work there as one family. They ate together after work on the one big table. This looks so nice. The owner with all staff eat together aftrr hard day. I totally recommend this restaurant for everyone who likes Chineese cuisine or just likes good tasty food.

My waiter was rude. I was eating alone and when i walked in I asked where I should sit and he sarcastically answered “wherever you want??”. The peanut butter shrimp dumplings were good. The general tao came in a huge plate but it was one of the worst i’ve ever had, too much fritter and sauce, not enough chicken. I had to ask for a cup of water, they assume they’re boiling green tea will compliment your meal. I saw them bring a bill to other tables, yet for me the waiter told me I had to pay at the cash? The service was quite bad and the food was mediocre only proper thing was the quantity. The lady at the cash was friendlier.

Should clean up the place and renovate. Dishes, cutlery and glasses are old, used and not cleanWouldnt want to see what kitchen looks like when the visible parts leave much to be desired. City food inspectors should pay a visit.

Went there over the weekend for a birthday party with a group of about 20 people. The food is OK not more than that. However the service..... The waiter was literally throwing the plate of food on the table! It was degrading Ive seen people caring for animals in a farm better than that!
