I love everything about LOV , the ambiance , the service and of course the tasty food. I am definitely a meat lover but honestly i am impressed by the Vegan burger - Chick’n Burger with sweet potato fries. The starter - beet tartare and a cup of Lavender latte go along with the meal.

The food and service were great. The atmosphere was trendy and those around us all seemed to be enjoying the vegan dining.

The first 3-4 times I went here the food was very tasteless. I just had a positive experience so I’d like to share what is good to order. The brussel sprouts, dumplings, VegEat burger are safe picks. VegEat is a Quebec company making plant based burgers similar but different from beyond meat. The lemonade and grapefruit mocktail are also pretty good!

Good service, great food.I even managed to bring a non-vegan friend and he had more satisfying options than he couldve wished for.The decor is refreshing yet chic. The ambiance is pretty calm and comfy and the service was amaizing.We both enjoyed all of what we ordered and were both very satisfied.

Im not vegan but I wanted it to try that place. The decor is fantastic, the bathroom super cute. I really loved the vibe. They waitress are super chill which goes with the whole vibe. As for food it was actually good! I didnt really miss not having meat even if I love my meat!!! But its good to have a day without meat everynow and them.... This spot is Legit!! Its a must try. Will most likely go again to try the Montreal succursales

Food is great but the portions are way too small for the price. The $13 dumplings appetizer is made up of 5 small dumplings, and my boyfriend finished his $17 plate of gnocchi in less than 10 minutes because the portion was so small.Otherwise great service and atmosphere

I heard lots of great things about this place but it certainly did not live up to expectation. The service was alright, they sat us and when we asked for the menu, the waitress said she will be back with the menu but never came back. Then another waitress came to give us water and then we were told that we were supposed to scan the QR code to look at the menu. We ordered the kimchi fries, the dish was unfortunately not edible. Fries were hard and stale and tasted bitter. Im giving it a 3 star cause the sushi was really good.

This restaurant has to be one of the most beautiful places in Montreal/Laval. The decor is absolutely stunning. The food, however, is nothing special.We were a group of 6 and we each had something different on the menu; trying to taste as much as we can.I personally feel that this restaurant does not do vegan food justice.The desserts were good and the coffee made me happy. The staff was very friendly.I would perhaps come again to enjoy the decor and have a cup of coffee.

I dont have the opportunity to try vegan and vegetarian restaurants all the time since my friends and family are all carnivores, but when I do, I like to go try new places and thats what happened when I tried LOV last March. Im a pescatarian and one of my friends is a vegetarian.The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, the walls are decorated with beautiful plants, they have gorgeous seating areas, the bar in the middle is very modern and the bathrooms are beautiful as well. The staff is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Our waitress was lovely and she knew exactly how to answer our questions.As soon as you walk in and get the menu youll get a little disappointed since its very small. I started with an iced latte with soy milk which was delicious but small (especially for 5$). Then, I tried the Avocado Toast which didnt mention on the menu that it had coriander which I HATE, and a lot of people too by the way, so I was surprised they didnt mention it on the menu. The toast was good but left me hungry. So I ordered a yogourt. It was delicious as well, and that filled me up. I was full but not in a gross i-couldnt-walk-after way. My friend tried their Shake-Shack casserole and said it left her a bit empty despite it being very good, she had to order the Beyond Meat sausages as an extra. My other friend had the breakfast potatoes and the salad and said everything was delicious, but again, it wasnt anything too fancy, especially for the price. Despite that, the quality of the food is astonishing, everything seems fresh and definitely organic/biological and nothing felt artificial.Overall, I can understand that vegan and vegetarian food is more expensive, especially for the quality of the ingredients theyre getting. I would like to try this place again for lunch or dinner because it didnt meet my expectations for brunch. I really hope they update the menu soon and make it bigger and fuller.

This was our 2nd visit to Lov (1st time in this one), it was a real step up from the last experience. This place is beautiful, gives a pleasant fresh dining experience. The food is delicious and big portions. The staff is refreshing and very helpful. Definitely, a spot we will return.

Even though I am not vegan, I very much enjoyed the food. Grilled vegetables and the tacos were especially delicious.

It was my first experience at a vegan style restaurant and it was fantastic delicious food and great staff.

I loved the place. The service is very good. We waited at the door because it was a Friday but once seated, we were able to order the food promptly. 10 min later we were eating 👍. Very friendly Staff.Things to work on ( IMHO):- I think it will be nice if you add to the menu a platers section were you can offer for example a burger served with a speciality salade or fries to help highlighting certain flavors and therefore increasing the clients experience.- I think it would be a big plus for a restaurant of your caliber to have their own homemade french fries. I believe that the french fries we were served are not home made and similar to those we can find at a grocery store.Overall, I had a pleasant experience and well definitely come again on future occasions.Thank you

Made a reservation for 9pm. Arrived at 9:05 to be greated by a super unfriendly manager saying” she was about to cancel my reservation since her kitchen was almost fully closed”. I’ve been to lov many times on McGill but the first impression here was a 0/10. Don’t accept reservations at 9pm if you don’t have the staff

I fell in love with this place!I am not vegan but that did not stop me from loving every little bit of this place! Lov is a place to discover with the beautiful decor and yummy food. They don’t only serve vegan food, they have options like eggs or cow milk for example.

Food was bland in my opinion and very overpriced. Nonetheless, staff was extremely nice and the decor was very pleasant! (Very instagrammable😉)

I am no where near a vegan or vegetarian; however I would return.The decor is really nice, a little out there, but I mean I dont really go out to eat for the decor as much as I do for the food (I mean thats why its a restaurant)I had the Big LOV cheeseburger and was pleasantly surprised. I wouldnt go as far as to say it tasted just like a burger, youd know youre not eating meat if you blindly ate it, but it was very good.I had some appetizers too, I cant for the life of me remember what they were, I just remember they were great too.

Beautiful restaurant, beautiful and tasty food, can’t ask for much more especially if you love to take a great Instagram picture. The food service was quite fast, although the servers seemed to be quite confused and nervous, however since they only opened recently I passed it off as new job jitters. Overall great place to try at least once!

Love Lov! Regular customer, but please change up your menu or add more seasonal choices. The vegan community is fairly small so if most customers are loyal like me, it is easy to get tired of the same menu options after many visits. Surprise us with new selections!

Beautiful spot. Food is unique. I’m not a vegan, yet the food’s texture is very similar to it’s “meat” version. The only downfall is flavour: very bland in taste. I needed to add lots of pepper, salt, hot sauce...

The portions are small for the amount you pay, vegan food should never be this expensive. I love vegan food and its my third time in this restaurant but I havent gotten the wow factor yet.The waitress was not really receptive despite working in a very zen environment, probably from wearing the mask.Overall the experience here still remains so - so.

I am a vegetarian and I had never been here! It is so bright and resembles a cozy country kitchen. Tonnes of plants adds to the decor. It is quite lovely. The food is wonderful too. I has the avocado toast which was so light and then the chilli with tortilla chips. It was scrumptious. I enjoyed the chilli because I never get to taste it since it usually has beef in it.Our server Mark (who was there till five pm) was sweet, accommodating and helpful. Such a nice personality! And Sonia (who tookover after) introduced us to Hot Lemonade. She had us smiling the whole time. If you dont eat here fine (although you will be missing out on healthy options), you HAVE TO TRY the hot lemonade. It is all kinds of comfort and happy! Recommend this place for vegetarians and carnivores.

This was the worst salad Ive ever eaten

We ordered through Ubereats most recently. The food was a bit bland, missing a lot of flavour! However the food tasted fresh, it’s simply missing some oomph.

Food was tasty. Its my second times trying a vegan restaurant. I wasnt disappointed. Its a Charming place. The only downside (since Im a greedy person) is the portion was too small. So I went to Juliette et Chocolat right after. Overall, I liked the experience.

I thought of giving them a 4 star but couldnt think of one wrong thing that happened. The food was absolutely delicious, and were not vegan. Decor was wonderful, service was amazing. We went with a 1 year old and they didnt give any sort of attitude or looks when she cried.Im not sure why other people are saying it wasnt enough food? We are big eaters and felt like we overate when we left.

Awesome vegan place!!!! Inexpensive, delicious, great staff, great area! I recommend trying the pulled pork burger, its surprisingly good and meat free! But everything I ate there was very good. They also serve alcohol. I definitely recommend this place if you wanna try good vegan food!

Awesome to see a vegetarian restaurant in Laval, a city that lacks plant based options.The food was pretty good, but its nothing spectacular and the portions are a little cheap. The decor is beautiful and the resto itself is well located. I might go again to try the dinner, if Im on the north shore at some point.Its a fine option, but you probably wont be blown away by their dishes.

Went to this place a few times already. Food is good, but not enough choices. During the early period, there isnt a very large selection. I understand that this is to serve as many customers as possible with a lower selection of items. That being said, the food that I thought might be good this time around was the burger. Tasted like a traditional burger and was pretty good.Place itself is fairly good in terms of size. For me, the toilets are terrible. They are for both men and women... Which can be highly problematic for obvious reasons, especially for women.On top of that, I found it difficult to wrap my head around the place having hand dryers and no disposable hand towels. Being unable to open the doors, which are presumably dirty, without the use of hand paper makes no sense. I went to open the door, and had to use my knuckles instead of my palm, which you know, I use for eating.

Food is overpriced for what we received, i was left with a mostly dry coconut curry and a poutine that looked like it came frozen and was made in the reverse order. Vegan food should not have to compromise on quality.

Wow!wow!wow! The roasted red pepper soup was unreal delicious! The lasagna was fantastic! The salad I had was very small & ordinary...but believe me...everything else made up for it. Im happy there are more vegan restos now...but you dont have to be vegan to go there. The place was packed! Reservations only!

Vibe of the restaurant was amazing , food was delicious but reason for my 2 star is because when we got our food we got a little bowl of fries and the customer next to us ordered the same thing and got double the size. Plus , staff was not very accomodating

The decor is light and uplifting. A real feel good place. Service was good, staff looked busy and happy. My my pancakes were cold (but very good served with fresh fruit and cream of cashew, it worked cold) and the tempeh too salty BUT the LOV mimosa was yummy and the vibrant smoothies tastes like liquid cake 😍 Hubby had the omelet and loved it as well. They we’re giving out tulips for Mother’s Day 🌷

I cant praise this restaurant enough. The chef really has cool tattoos and cooked the best food I ever ordered in a restaurant. There was maybe 5 tables occupied in the whole restaurant yet it took over 40 minutes to get served + get our food... Food was fine but simply not worth the price + the time we had to wait

The food was very good and the plating was very nice. The decor was also very well done giving the place a very nice and fresh vibe, but the service was lacking. The manager which led us to our table was nice, but i couldnt say the same for our waiter. He was more or less polite, and he seemed like he wanted to get rid of us as soon as possible (I wasnt there for long and it wasnt busy either). He didnt seem to treat the other customers in the same way so I am not sure if it is an issue of race... i hope to see the service improve in the forseeable future.

This is definitely one of the best vegan restaurants around... You will enjoy it whether you are vegan or not! From the cocktails to the food and coffee, you cant go wrong! And, their chocolate mousse cake is out of this world!

It has a nice atmosphere. However, that being said, it is too expensive for receiving such a small amount of food. I felt ripped off.

I am vegan and dislike this place... very bland, tasteless, greasy and not to mention overpriced. If people think vegan food should be priced this much and taste like this then they need to explore more.

Nice place, decorations are nice, good ambience,prices are faire,only thing that bothered me we arrived at 4 and dinner menu is served at 5 so basically as we were obliged to order from the brunch menu ,others started ordering supper menu,which was disappointing for us,but other than this it was ok ,the food was good .

Beautiful restaurant, Ive been to other vegan restaurants and honestly theres no comparison. It was my first time here and I loved the vegan burger they had, would recommend this place to anyone.

First, the food is very overpriced, especially with the portion you will be served.Second, the meals are bland and they barely had taste. For instance, do not take the LOV tacos, Iguarantee you will be disappointed.Third, our waiter added to our bad experience. He was very awkward, came to look at us every 10 mins, stared and walked away. A waiter shouldn’t come and disturb that often. We clearly had enough water and we were trying to eat.The only reason I believe people go here is for the decor, which I have to admit, it is pretty beautiful.

We were told to sit at the bar since we only ordered drinks, which was totally fine considering there were many people. We ordered drinks, and my friends had a straw but mine didnt. I simply asked the waiter for a straw and he began lecturing me (with SASS) that they are an environmentally friendly café and are trying to reduce consumption of straws... FINE!! Just dont give attitude to your clients!!!

The place is nicely decorated. The drink (Moscow mule) was ok. The dumplings were good. The service was also. The one thing I really didnt understand was the parsnip and pear toast. Why they put and runny unseasoned and cold parsnip purée on the toast. WORST... Bread was soggy... I told the waitress and she told me noone ever sent it back before (not my concern). I barely ate it. Any other place would have taken it off my bill... My waitress just walked away. If your cooking vegan, seasoning and not doing too much are key. They are lacking in those areas.

We were certain the waitress had forgotten about us. I think we dealt with 3 different ones to finally get what we wanted. My risotto looked like soup and tasted like water.The decor is breathtaking tho ...

This isnt much a review as it is a comment, I had planned to go there with my bff for over a month, when the date came we realized through the website that there was a time slot allocation for your meal of two hours max., after looking at this we had to decide to go somewhere else. While some people come and go, we were actually looking to spend quality time and would have ordered more than a main course, we were looking forward to desserts and coffee too... Anyhow, big disappointment. Im sure it still is a great place but sadly that policy has killed it for me.

It was not to die for, as some people have mentioned. Too expensive for what tastes like frozen vegan meals, but at least theres a vegan place in Laval? My friend had the big mac burger, and she said it tasted exactly like McDs, so I guess theres that!

Lovely place, amazing food.

Great food and very reasonable prices for such a premium offering. The cocktail menu is also excellent.The waitressing staff (all women at the time of our visit) were excellent. Helpful, competent, but discreet, with well-timed visits.The main negative (hence 4/5 stars) was the Maître D. To this day I have no idea what his deal was, but he totally blanked my girlfriend during dinner (including, incredibly, topping up my water but not hers?!?). Maybe he assumed I was the one paying, but this serious lapse of professionalism still makes no sense. Back to hospitality school, buddy.Also, the restrooms were a bit rubbish, which clashes with how nice and classy the place is and presents itself.

The food was great. The prices are ok. Its nice to see more vegetarian and vegan options outside of Montreal. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Interesting food and drink menu. Portions surprisingly very small and therefore overpriced.

This location was far worse than the McGill location. Service was poor despite it being not busy. We ordered our food and waited 30 minutes to receive it. Additionally, we asked if it was possible to upgrade the fries with our burger to poutine. My friend ordered kimchi fries as an upgrade for $5. We expected the poutine upgrade to be similar, the server didnt tell us it would be $10 ... would have been fine had the cheese texture been good and the sauce not been overly salty, but it was absolutely awful. $10 for that? I dont recommend coming here.
