It’s an OK place if you didn’t grew up eating Vietnamese food. There are some things that did not mark points. For example, they gave us a spicy mayo with the fried roll. Usually, it goes with fish sauce. Also, the pho was a bit disappointing. I asked for the original soup (Dac Biet) and it was missing some items like the beef and trips. On the bright side, the Vietnamese iced coffee was good.

When I lived in Ottawa, I had my go-to Pho places. This place is fantastic. The food is great and the store owners are lovely and kind in every way. Been there many times, not planning on stopping.Super de belle place. Bonne bouffe, cest sur, et le couple à qui appartient le resto sont tout à fais sympathique!

Went there only once and had the Pho soup with beef and meatballs. It was pretty good! Meat seemed fresh and the soup was tasty. The only so so element of it would be the noodles. They used thicker noodles and theyre harder to eat. Other than that the setting is good, better than other similar restaurants. The waiters seemed attentive with their customers.

After 4 attempts to get good asian food delivered in Laval finally one that is not a shame to Asian food. Absolutely great!! Got the meat combo, great char taste. Tom yum is awesome too. So are the deserts I had. You got to try this place

Waited for 40min for a bloody soup noodle which can be easily made in 10min. And the sarcastic part is there are only 5 customers in the restaurant. Also Ive seen as least 6 guys coming for pickups.

Ok restaurant, ok food. Owners are friendly but staff is absent minded. We were given a table that hadnt been before sitting down, noticed soya sauce spots on the table. Good thing we noticed and asked the waiter to clean, before our friends joined us, one of the had a long sleeved white blouse. Bathroom was gross, which is never a good omen.

I dont think we could ever get tired of this restaurant. A great place in Laval Quebec with reasonable pricing for shrimp tempura and other awesomely delicous Asian foods. My girls always said they had the best shrimp tempura ever. Youve gotta try it.

This place is closed for over a month (July 15 until August 22). i wish they would update their Google Page. i drove half hour to see they were closed for summer vacation.i will change my rating if i ever come back.

Beautiful restaurant, plenty of parking, really nice atmosphere to have dinner, delicious food and excellent service. We tried special PHỞ with one egg and steamed rice with General Tao Chicken. The Pho was excellent, very flavorful, tasty broth and meat. All the food was delicious and fresh. Would definitely recommend to any Vietnamese food lovers.

Both me and my wife got very sick after eating there. We had tonkinoise soup, which we have eaten in many Viet restaurants. As we were eating, we both found the meat tasted funny... Guess we know why now.

I was really looking forward to trying this place since i’ve been looking for a good new asian takeout spot and honestly I was disappointed. I ordered chicken general tao, steamed rice, wonton soup, spicy peanut butter chicken dumplings and an imperial roll. First of all, for the variety of food I received it was a very fair price (22$) - you receive a 10% discount for takeout. However the quality of the food was very questionable. The spicy chicken dumplings were mediocre, they weren’t spicy at all and they were crispy/fried instead of your usual steamed peanut butter dumplings. The wonton soup contained 3 wontons that tasted funky couldn’t tell what was in them (shrimp or chicken or tofu who knows) and the broth wasn’t the best. The imperial roll was the best tasting thing, very crispy and delicious but THE SAUCE FOR IT lord was it pathetic, it’s not like your classic sweet chili sauce, this sauce had 0 consistency it was all liquid and tasteless. The worst for last was the general tao chicken, to call the chicken general tao would be a lie. The sauce and chicken have nothing to do with general tao, the chicken was fried and dipped into pineapple soggy onions and peppers and some red tasteless sauce. The experience was unsatisfactory and the worst part is that they didn’t include any chopsticks or spoons or any kind of utensils and napkins. No effort or quality here I can’t understand why all the other amazing reviews, everyone’s let me down. Also they sell each fortune cookie for a dollar instead of including them with the meal like at other restaurants - ugh.

I did not like the vietnamese place. The Pho was incredibly small for the price and barely had any meat. The noodles were soggy and the broth wasnt that good. The Tom Yum soup was a lot better but I expect a lot better pho from a vietnamese restaurant.

Ate their food twice already and it tastes fresh and light, not deep fried, oily and heavy. Perfect place for a guilt-free Vietnamese food experience. Service was friendly. Prices are fair, portions are good.

Vien Dong (Viens donc?) provides a variety of Asian-styled menu geared towards a non-Asian clientele. Youll find Vietnamese options, a bit of Thai as well as Schezwan. The one defining option I hoped to eat was taken off the menu as the locals dont order it enough which is a damn shame.I was talking about their Bahn Mi sandwich! Laval has a complete lack of Bahn Mi options! The hunt continues....I opted for their grilled beef and vermicelli instead and ended up being pretty decent. It was a big bowl and generously sized however I would have hoped for more meat and less vermicelli. The egg roll was decent and the side salad was refreshing.All in all, decent but not very notable... so I doubt Ill be back.Beautiful mural outside though, very well done.If the owner ever reads this and has started provided Bahn Mi again, please message me and Ill be back and be more than happy to change my review. :)

Was ok, their choice of Vietnamese food is quite limited, taste wise their soup and vermicelli were decent, however they are quite cheap on the noodles, was expecting more for that price... There are better Viet resto out there for sightly better price.

Not a very pleasant experience. I arrived for my order to bring as request 25 minutes after my call. When I arrived I was told I was too early and had to wait another 25 minutes. When I got home I thought they had ordered the wrong order because my general tao looked like soup .... too much liquid sauce. So we didnt eat at all. Real waste

Wow the worst food I have eaten in a while .. General Tao is soft and thick with dough that rolls in the mouth its disgusting .. the long shrimp sticks lift my heart with one bite .. I am very disappointed in addition to order high price for what it is !!!

Disappointed to have spent my Uber Eats gift card at this restaurant. The wonton soup was very good, despite the bits of chicken bones I caught in the soup. The rest was clearly lacking in taste. General tao was dry and the vegetables in the birds nest were average ...

By going there regularly, we got to know the owner family and are happy to encourage them in their daily dedication to discovering their culinary culture and to please the gourmet clientele open to new discoveries. Beautiful warm atmosphere and always interesting to be able to bring our wine! Always interesting for us to go there almost every week because we can take our time, chat and relax from our work week with a good bottle of wine. Simplicity and conviviality, a place to discover!

This place has its own special touch. The food is good there. The value for money is great. The first time I went there, I found the server a little cold. But as I liked the place I went back there. A complicity developed and respect settled. You will probably like this place as much as I do!

Excellent food. Not too fatty or too salty for a meal of this type. The employees are very nice and the service is impeccable. I was even offered free Chinese cookies since the wait for the ‘take out’ was a bit long due to the particularly heavy traffic there. The place is crowded, which is a good sign. Parking is a bit small for weekend evenings. Bring your own wine.

Personally, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and the service impeccable especially from the owner because she is always attentive to customers. For example, if an ingredient does not suit us in a dish; say, a sauce, you can easily ask for another ingredient or another sauce instead. Its the same with desserts.The service is quick and the staff are always courteous.The restaurant is clean and the hygiene and quality of the food is very good.Really to recommend!

I had chicken stir-fry combos with peanut sauce with fried spinach delivered 3 times and it was delicious every time. The complete meal for two includes Thai shrimp soup, imperial rolls and as only downside, the dessert of 4 fried bananas unfortunately mushy probably due to delivery. The Thai soup is generous and tasty. Special requests are respected. The stir-fry is perfect for both cooking and flavor. Attention to detail is felt throughout the order. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a good Vietnamese meal. And if you prefer delivery, you wont be disappointed either since it is very well packaged.

The most: beautiful decor, pleasant background music. Moderately fast service.Less: Restaurant says authentic, but not the case. It was the first time I had to put my coat back on while eating because it was so cold. Only ordinary dishes that we find at the restaurant around the corner. The meal was cold after 5 minutes. Waiter came once to fill our glasses in 1 hour, because I asked for it.
