This is a place on the bank of the river Ganga. On the right side of the Ghat Tolly Nalla connect with the river Ganga. (Ghat means a place where permanent steps are constructed on the bank of the river such that people can comfortably go down to the river. ) Since Tolly Nalla is basically a drainage channel now its discharge is highly polluted. At the time of low tide flow is comming out from the Tolly Nalla which seems to be sceptic and stinky. This flow mixes with the river Ganga and flow adjacent to the Dai Ghat. Its advisable not to collect water from Dai Ghat at the time of low tide. Apparently there is a tranquillity in the area with less people and traffic. In the left hand side of the Ghat there is a pumping station operated by the Municipal Corporation. The surrounding is a industrial area. There is a small temple within the Ghat. The Ghat is well constructed and regularly maintained. The illumination at the night is adequate. Few number of Idols are immersed at the time of Puja. One can reach Dai Ghat either from Khidirpur or through esplaned.
