The ambience of the place is so great that it cant be mustered up in words. I was totally in awe of the place, for it was my first time at such a place..The food was as delicious as it looks in the pictures. No worries about adding on some extra calories. There is always room for more.

My absolute go to place with anyone and everyone. I myself visit this place quite frequently. Amit is a sincere owner who happens to be warm, sensitive, an amazing cook and a perfect host. The spread is quite innovative and novel. What more you want? Please do not delay your visit further..

A nice cozy place to relax. Thats how I wud describe, Cup eবংA place to take your kids, where they spend time bonding over a game of chess or ludo, and munching away the sandwiches and slurping away the last bits of pasta. Or just sit with the guitar and strum something for your beloved, when she is sipping her coffee and taking a bite from the succulent pork chop. Or take a cup of first Flush, with the fish and chips and keep enjoying your novel. This palce has something for everyone.Pork chops - 8/10. Pork chops are quite common nowadays. But whats different here, is how it is presented. With the regular sauted veggies and mashed potato, they serve a poched egg. So the bite of succulent pork with the equal proportions of meat and fat, when mixed with the egg yolk, makes a difference. But one thing I personally didnt like was the mashed potato. It felt rough. The smoothness of the mashed potato was missing & downgrading the flavour of the entire dish.Fish & chips - Here the fish is more into a batter fry, rather than conventional fish fry. Also the other thing that I liked was the potato wedges. But then again, the way potatoes were fried, was a bit over fried (personal opinion). And add a bit more of spices to the wedges. The cheese mayo dip, with parsley, was actually enhancing the flavour of the dish manifold. 7/10Sandwiches and pasta -- Pretty regular, but definitely taste wise, the absolute homemade taste, but more herbs. And the amount of chicken in sandwiches was whole and hearty. Very good for quick bites on the go. 7/10Mutton Dahivada - Ok, I had this dish for the first time. But after talking with the owner , came to know, its actually a very old recipe from the Bengali kitchen of Rajas n Maharajas. Two aromatic kebabs of minced mutton, absolutely melting inside the mouth, in a cold base of sweet n sour dahi and mint chutney. So now we have an absolutely meat based dessert as well. Savour this beauty. Its worth every dime. 10/10Egg devil - Once Kolkata was known by this dish, but slowly it is losing its true identity. Here they are maintaining the true identity. Crunchy envelope of minced mutton, a soft white egg inside. As you reach the heart of the egg, you are taken aback. The original recipe of double yolk is back with a bang. Now take a hearty bite of minced aromatic mutton, soft bland egg white and the smooth yolk, and let the taste settle. 10/10.Overall rating 9/10Dont miss egg devil, pork chops, mutton dahivada.

Its a half decent place. The food is nothing to die for but a nice enough place to spend an evening and not regret doing so. The price is marginally alright, but sitting arrangements along the wall feel slightly congested. The evening was well spent, but maybe I wont go back.

Located a couple of minute walk from Kalikapur main road, this place was on my list for a while. Its a beautiful cafe with decent interiors and beautiful serving platters.Ive recently visited this place to try them out.Coming to the things Ive tried,Darjeeling tea (pot for 2) : Came in a beautiful looking tea pot and a sand glass. The aroma was simply irresistible. Even if youre not a tea lover.Cutting chai : Well enough. The taste was as usual. You can give this a try.Chicken wings : Chicken wings tossed in some barbeque sauce and theyve sprinkled some sesame seeds over it. Amazing in one word.Chicken rice bowl : To be very honest I didnt like is much as it was really dry and pretty hard to eat. Ive told this matter to one of their staff and he gave some extra barbeque sauce which kinda helped.The staffs are really good. Id definitely give this 110 out of 100 when it comes to hospitality. Food was decent enough. Do give this a try. Ive heard a lot about their breakfast menus. Will give them a try as well.Bon appetite.

O my god. The pork platter here was the ultimate. Best pork platter that I ever tasted. The chicken steak was also very good . But their speciality is pork. I have never seen so much flavour in pork sausages. Try their maharaja pork platter and the poritosh wrap. Trust me you will love it. Will visit again. This is a must visit place.

There are a lot of cafés popping up now, but this one really has a different, a homely vibe to it. With this being set in an actual apartment and the way the ambiance is, it actually feels more like a home. A perfect place to have a chat and enjoy some music, and if anybody is into guitars, this place has them for you. The signature tea is great, as well as the food.A good experience overall. The only thing is that the staff needs to be a bit more responsive.

Darjeeling pork platter was very tasty, the cold cuts are of great quality, the momo was great also, I didnt expect such great momo here. I would prefer, if they have the option for sealed drinking water, although the water they gave are packaged water as per our server. Although, this is a mental thing but Darjeeling tea is incomplete without out a saucer! The place is very much recommended.

Always a pleasure to eat here. Very warm atmosphere, friendly service and food is really good. My favourite are the hand made chicken sausages. Menu is quite elaborate.

Tiny and cozy in size, but gigantic in quality and services. It more than a cafe if you plan for dining. Dishes are very very tasty. Must try the chili pork prepared by our beloved Amit da. It is so tasty that I cant explain it fully. The coffee is really one of the finest coffee available in different cafes in Kolkata.

A tiny homey place with warm and welcoming vibes. I liked their choice of platters. We ordered one Darjeeling platter which had bread, sausages, salami, dumplings, eggs etc. It was fulfilling for the two of us. I would love to visit again for more such deliciousness. They also encourage newly artists and music performers.

This place is a feel good factor for so many reasons. The entrepreneur himself is so courteous. He is an awsome chef too. The staff is polite and the place is soothing, lively and yet so homely. Specially, the way so many things which takes place in his place. People playing PubG, discussing work, spending evenings, having ludo fights or even reading. They specialise in pork based offerings and different types of Tea.

Its a small restaurant with great food. Rather than spending useless budget on interiors and other stuff, the owner has invested in gathering good recipe. Ingredients are fresh and Amit is akways a great person to have a chat with. Recommended dishes are meatloaf (best in Kolkata as per my experience), pork sausages, the unusual chilly pork and a good selection of coffee

Visiting cup eBong was all together a different experience. The main attraction is the French press coffee. I also had the darjeeling platter which is just too much for one person. The chicken sandwich is also very different from any other joints. It is just Awesome .Even the sauce are all homemade. I recommend every one to visit this place at least once.
