One of the worst hospital and services in kolkata , I would never recommend any one to visit this hospital even in emergency situation. One of my relative was admitted to this hospital for one night for low oxygen level, we knew the reason for low oxygen levels since the patient had undergone similar low levels of oxygen conditions earlier as well, We just wanted a oxygen supply to be given to him and instructed the hospital to not do anything except for providing Oxygen , Next morning (Within 12 hours of him getting admitted ) , Hospital gave us a bill of 60 thousand , We were shocked and surprised. They didnt do any treatment, all they did was tests worth Rs 60 thousand and when we asked as to why they didnt took our consent before doing so many expensive tests, all they said was they never take any consent from patients relatives , they do whatever they want to do irrespective of the price of the test. We went to the hospital to get simply oxygen supply however after 12 hours , The hospital handed over a bill of 60 thousand even without doing any treatment . When we said that we cant pay such a huge amount of money since there was no treatment done(only tests were done) that too without our consent then they abused us and even threatened us .We have always heard the saying that doctors are other form of God however this hospital is simply proving this to be untrue, They are hiding themselves under doctor appron and then looting people. This hospital deserve negative rating . I appeal everyone to not go to this hospital otherwise you will be entrapped one day . After admitting the patients they do unnecessary tests, and later they say you have signed the consent paper for treatment, when the pateint attender told the issue, why to do the test, the blood group test is also been done , they could be have asked the patients family member. If we have signed the consent doesnt mean these guys will do test of any amount they want... its duty and responsibility of hospital authority to inform the patient attender that thesse are the case and these test are required to be done. I seriously dont recommend such hospitals to anyone. In the name to hospitals the place where life is given to people they r just taking off money from patient family like anything. Hospital management is worst. They keep patients admitted in the hospital for long time unnecessarily only to raise the amount of bill. And when you will ask for discharge hospital management give threats to patient party. Sanjib Saha threatened me when I asked him to discharge my patient. They also do unnecessary tests and scan. They keep my patient admitted in the hospital for 24 days just to treat minor chest infection. Doctors harras patient party and gives wrong information about the health of the patient to the patient party. They dont give proper medicines and food to the patient. Each and every staff of the hospital are trained to speak lies and give wrong information to the patient party. Worst hospital in the city. Never ever visit to this hospital even for OPD services. State government hospitals are much better than this.Money MongersIf you want to take revenge from your enemies (if you have), refer them to this hospital. Rest hospital will take the revenge from your enemy on your behalf.

I went there just for covid test needed for admission in hospital. Price is higher than other diagnostic centers but you get results in 24hrs. To test you have to reach there by 1400 hrs and get your self registered it better if you call and take appointment.

Worst Hospital service, I have seen ever. Management is very poor. There is no patients party waiting logy. Behavior of security is very rough. Doctor availability is poor. Dont give breakfast to Patient. Dont allow to meet patients, you can meet to patients trough Video Call only for two minutes once a week.

The worst to worst hospital , they dont have any treatment for COVID patients. My grand mother who was suffering from heart infections and Covid didnt get any treatment. Despite of having 99 saturation level she died .Doctors said that she had a heart attack, but I believe that she was not even treated as soon as her result came out positive. I request everyone that judge properly, before getting your patient admitted here.

I would like to thank Renaissance Hospital, Kolkata, for taking very good care of my elderly father Dr. Nand Lal Kejriwal. My father an 81 year old doctor, an MRCP, (U.K.), retired from a Government job was admitted at the hospital on 29th April 2021 with Covid 19 and subsequently discharged on 5th May 2021. He was treated by the team of doctors, Dr. Sanghabrata Sur, Dr. Mrinmoy Mitra and Dr. Ritam Chakrobarty. They were constantly in touch with me and updated me regularly about my father’s progress. As local relatives were in home quarantine they could not visit my father or the doctors. The doctors did a fantastic job and were able to discharge my father in a weekI would also like to thank the nursing staff who took care of my father. Their names as informed to me are S/N Rina Das, S/N Bulti Dey, S/N Saheli Ghosh, S/N Udita Adhikary, S/N Riya Bannerjee, S/ N Riya Sarkar and S/N Shilpa Bhandari. Whenever a family member called up on the mobile phone of the hospital, the sisters used to take the mobile to him and we could talk to him. The cooperation of the sisters is highly appreciated. I have been told that on a particular day my father was reluctant to eat hospital food. One of the sisters, fed him bread dipped in Horlicks with her own hands. I really have no words to describe the exemplary nursing care provided by the nursing staff.I am grateful Madam Bitta, the public relation officer at the hospital. Her contribution to facilitate communication between the patient’s relatives and the treating doctors is exceptional. The support staff in such a hospital must be very well behaved and trained. All this could not have happened without an efficient management. This is hospital with very low quality admin and management staffs with extremely bad behavior. Mainly Mrs. Sonali Chakraborty who claimed to be the hospital in-charge, is the most unethical person with inhuman in nature, encourages all sort unethical practices in the hospital, to make money and harass helpless people. If the top management of this hospital is of such nature, then just imagine how the ground level staffs and employees would be.They dont provide proper bills against the treatment they claim they have provided. They dont provide the medicines (e.g Remdesivir) that they are supposed to provide to the COVID patient according to the guideline of Gov. They neither provide any prescription to the patient party to enable them buy the medicine from outside in need. They dont disclose the reports and line of treatments being provided to the patient, which is a fundamental right of any patient party to know. I had to literally struggle each and every day just to get an update about my patient admitted to this hospital.I have already lost a loved one from my family in this hospital this month, hence sharing this experience here, so that one should be extremely careful before admitting their patient to this hospital.Take care and stay safe.

The worst ever nursing home as far as our experiences.......Let me convey it in a to the point manner.......1.staffs r not well behaved n they think they r having a sense of pity on the patient party......2.Regarding tests: the most unnecessary tests r done on a regular basis until n unless ur bill reach to more than 2 lakhs......3.Dr.(especially Dr.Ranjan Srivastab) the virtual dr. I have ever seen......sometimes he uses inflated words to mitigate our concern (a big deal to mint money from patient party obviously)....... 4.incongruity regarding reports, according to dr.Srivastav my fathers Na+( sodium) was 125.....accrdng to the most 3rd graded RMOs it was 117.....bt report shows 122.......5.no way of communication with the patient ( of course virtually)..... the worst staffs n reception......lastly we have given my father a new life by bringing him back forcefuly, although the concerned n worst respected dr. was tryng to convince us to stay him back there( only to increase the bill)........so urnest request not to consult n admit ur near n dear ones here ( the worst hell on earth)....... beware n keep my points always in ur mind if u dont want to suffer the pains of ur relatives after having such hellish experiences there......Thank God my father is alive till now........the living hell on earth n the real janitors there.....my given star(*) was gone by mistake......they should be given thorny n bushy burnt flowers instead of that.....

My father was Dr Ranjan Srivastavas patient from last 10 years. He did Angioplasty in 2010. but in 2020 when my father have a emergency situation, he denied to check physically. He said that he is only doing online treatment. I requested him many times. but we cant accept this type of behaviour from Dr. For our family, he was an amazing doctor.but due to this situation we lost all type of respect for Dr. Srivastava. When we cant get him in emergency for 10 year existing patient. Then what should we expect from an doctor?

Unprofessional employees,improper information, knowledge gap,or what else I could write.I was there around 7pm,my number was 11.After spending 1 hour 45 minutes I come to know there were some patient party who was having billing issue to discuss with the doctor.Then doctor prescribed my mom to have ECG on spot, another story came on.A lady was there to do ECG for women. The key person said she will do and he left.That time the lady keep on saying my shift is over,I am not able to do it anymore.He was the person who is responsible for ECG not I am.There was a huge drama was going on,the person came and do that job.So basically the service of this hospital is extremely poor.I have never been in such hospital in my life.

We had a harrowing experience in Renaissance hospital. Within the first few hours of admitting the patient, the hospital staff conducts all tests whether required or not just to confirm a big fat hospital bill. My mother was admitted with neuro problem but for 6 days they could not get a neurologist to examine her. Only Ranjan Srivastava cardiologist and one pulmonologist visited her. The hospital doctor kept on saying that he is unable to give a perfect and exact diagnosis, but still did not get any neurologist to examine her. When there was no improvement in her condition, we requested the doctor to discharge her. They did so but took their revenge by blocking our Mediclaim.For all these 6 days they charged us for special attendant, oxygen and nebulizer. We never saw any special attendant for my mother. Only two aayas looked after the needs of almost ten patients in the whole ward. At home my mother didnt require oxygen or nebulizer even for a single moment. We saved her by bringing her home.The test reports given in this hospital are also questionable. I am not a trained person but a practicing neurologist was really surprised when he saw normal graph written in the EEG report of my mother. The EEG was conducted in the hospital.Cleanliness is not maintained properly. The hospital staff is also not well trained. One patient was admitted with fever and within one day her bills crossed 80000/. Her parents came and got her discharged.I hope this message goes far and wide so that others dont get cheated and harrassed.My appeal to all is please dont ever take your near and dear ones to Renaissance Hospital for treatment. You will not get any proper treatment but you will surely become bankrupt.Doctors are respected like God and our money is hard-earned. So where will the public go if hospitals function in this manner??

Truly hope resided here for my uncle...thanks to the RMOs and Dr. Ranjan Kumar Srivastava....believe me at the age of 80 we almost thought that he will not be able to make it...but I can share that he is now almost leading a normal life....it is prity hard to believe that such a small hospital has such a good panel of doctors....

I took a friend of mine there. My friend accidentally injured his right foot. He needed to get his foot bandaged. The doctor present in the outpatient department didnt have any clue whatever regarding what to do and how to go about dressing the injured limb. Neither did the nurse present there had any clue. She was just running around looking for basic tools like scissors, gauge, etc. The way the place is managed is utterly pathetic. The only thing they were very prompt at was at handing us the bill where we were conveniently charged for registration and bandaged whereas I had to rush my friend out of that place and take him to another hospital for proper checkup and treatment.

I dont see the option 0 or -1...so I have to give rating 1...totally frustrated for the administration...no proper service..only enlargement of bills...with various unnecessary overpriced charges...Documentation fee,attendent charges,and 15 percent service charges for most of the items I had to pay almost 4000 Rs as service charge... along with 700 Rs other charges...In Kolkata I havnt found service charges... currently all are in GST...if I have to pay...will pay to Govt ,not Hospital as they are taking so much charges already for different sections...Mediclaim depertment is pathetic...they often come and process final discharge after 12.30 or 1 pm...unpr unprofessi behavior and delay in processing...overall I had such an experience which I dont want to remember anymore...strongly recommend not to go in this hospital

My todays experience: They gave me a appointment at 12:30 pm (for opd). So, I was here around 12:15 pm. But when I finally visited doctor, it 4:30 pm. They simply waste my 4 hours.

Pathetic service. Admitted a patient will low Sodium. The “hospital” kept the patient for 12 days, ran up a bill of close to 2.5 lakhs and now the patient has severe infection which was not there when admitted.Ideal place if one wants to burn money and get the patient more ill than he already is.Also, they’ll conduct unnecessary tests (which of course they’ll justify under some pretext or the other). The tests itself will hike up your bill considerable. Say for eg, X-ray was done every alternate day when the only concern for the patient was low Sodium. Also other than Sodium/Potassium levels, couple of other blood tests were conducted every single day, all of course at your expense.Oh, and forgot to add, all the tests will be charged at double to triple the market rate compared to when done from an average diagnostic center.Also, when the patient is admitted, they try to get you to sign on multiple consent form like use of ventilators, catheters, restraints etc. Plz sign them at your own risk because they will use them whenever they face the slightest inconvenience from the patient. For eg, if the patient is unwilling to have food, instead of coercing him, they will simply insert a rice tube through the nose to make their job simpler (for which of course they will have taken consent the moment you admit the patient to the hospital).After spending a fortune on the patient, he was discharged with urinary tract infection possibly due to the use of catheter, which we were hesitant to put in the first place but had to consent upon repeated insistence from the Doctors.These are places which make people lose their faith in hospitals and doctors.My advice, avoid this hospital at all cost... They will drain your bank account and make your patient worse off than when he is admitted.A word of advice. Dont blindly trust the hospitals rating. It seems that the hospital rating is 3.5 which was surprisingly since I would personally rate it negative 5. On a closer look, found that most people whove rated the hospital 5 star have only one review to their credit. This speaks a lot about the credibility of such reviews and how these reviews came into existence.

Worst hospital in my experience..the staff r unprofessional and are there to loot the patients.one of my aunt was recently admitted...she went there in an emergency on pursuance of a staff who accidentally was her neighbour.they did all the tests possible and within 21hrs the bill was 42k and that too without any medication.Theres no proper waiting room...the corridor is too narrow to stand...not even much bed.A worst experience..

I have a very bad experience with the Administration of Hospital Management. Although caring & nursing are very good but without intimation they over bill for every services which are not required.
