Usually takes 7 days prior notification.Staff are very cooperative and helpful.You will get proper assistance and help.Very calm and quiet place.

Very poor working system. No proper internet connectivity and most of the time it is either down or out of order. The staff has no accountability for the relatives of dead family members who have come from a far distance to collect the death certificate.

The place is open and vast but very disorganised. Death certificate is given out from a small window where everyone is crowding, flouting covid protocols. There is no proper space to sit and wait for your turn. Also the process is very slow and they are making frequent errors in death certificates. Recommend people to go in weekdays early mornings with time in hand.

I would like to know how many days after the death of a person COVID 19 death certificate is available?? Please help me.

2020 has drawn a line on human history..now the world will forever remember 2020 as the yr. between the Pre-Covid and the Post-Covid era. Many people have unfortunately lost their loved ones to this deadly disease BUT their pain doesnt ends there.From getting the last rites of their loved ones done, to collection of Death Certificate from Kolkata Municipal Corporation is a tough task.However kudos to government for streamlining the process a bit.. we collected the D.C. from Peace World Topsia Hindu Burial Ground.Situated on the main road in Topsia, its easy to locate.The process is lengthy and full of official redtape as is usually a norm in any government office and associated individuals. Carry all official original documents and be ready for long haul.

Very calm and quite with friendly staffs.

Refused to clean and dress a body (paid service) as the body would not be kept in the freezer overnight. Disgusting attitude.

Newly constructed building by Government just inside of Hindu Burial Ground Topsia. It is a mortuary inaugurated in the year of 2015.
