Collection are good but staffs are very non cooperative. Whenever you ask for anything they try to avoid it. Sometimes without looking for the items they say its not available. And do check your bill before leaving. It have happened to me many times that item price show something and bill amount show another. Last time it happened and after half an hour the staff told me that the price had increased and he didnt know that and the price tag was showing old price. Very unprofessional approach from such a company.

Prices are good. Stocks are brilliant. Spacious one stop shop. Only thing to be improved is that Metro needs to figure out how can the customers take back the goods purchased because they have stopped giving big plastic bags - the jute bags currently given are not big enough and also way too expensive!

Products are really cheap for buying detergents and plastic furnitures like chairs tool small table. Food grain products not cheaper you may get Rs.3-4 cheaper compare to local price. Edible oils are cheaper but it will not be that cheaper than Spencers or big bazar. Local rice grain will not be that cheaper.Biscuits cookies n all other these kinds of products are really very cheap. Beavrages are really cheap. Billing is quite fast.

Be careful all the customer of metro cash n carry from all the staff in cash counter , while giving your cards for payment in cash counter they share your your details to the scammers to do fraud with you so be alert with your cards . After they getting your details they called you over the phone & giving you offer and asking for feedback by sending link and asking to click on link by they can do froud with you. That happened with me today , yesterday I have been for shopping and I have seen the guy who is making my bill he suspiciously using his phone side by side . After the incident happened I had called there number which is given in website lots of but nobody is receiving my call. Guy be alert.

Morning hours till 8 am also have low crowd.Please bring your own carry bags.Liquor is sold at MRP.A metro railway station is coming up along this premises.

Visiting Metro Cash&Carry was truly a wonderful experience. Theres sale at almost every item available at the store. I would highly recommend it to everyone. But you need to have a card to enter and buy. Also you can get the card by taking your drivers license and trade license to the customer care service at the shop for visiting it for the first time.

The billing takes enormously long. People have to stand inline and there is only one 3 seater bench for senior citizens at the billing counter. There are no fans for the customers at the billing counter. AC is kept off for ages now to save electricity. This outlet of METRO C&C is the worst and most beglected of all the outlets in India.The billing counter exit area is used as a godown to store excess goods. Really atrocious - The management does not bother about customer comfort. Attached is a photo of exit of billing area.

The retail chain is a great place for shopping to the businessmen in and around the city. It do have an imagery of Walmart and it seems to have an intriguing effect in the minds of the wholesalers and the small retailers. The store is in a premier location as it stands along the prominent EM Bypass and attracts people to visit and shop there. The store holds a huge area and has various departments starting from apparels to food items and beverages. The store also has a section which seems to be one of the most attractive sections where Metro has its own bakery. The system followed from the check in of the customers to the check out for the customers has been well managed by the keepers of the store. I found it to be a great experience in visiting the giant retail chain in the secondary business district of Kolkata

Everything looks fine. All segments are easy to find. Prices are ok. Parking is nearby. No extra parking charges. Almost everything available. Fashion brands also available. Return policy is good.

I had an amazing experience shopping at metro cash n carry. Prices are lower than market but minimum billing amount is rs. 1000.mainly for the wholesalers. Transportation is also very nice from here to any part of kolkata.

Metro cash and carry was excellent when it started. Quality of goods and services were of highest level. It was really a foreign brand experience then.But now with time its overall quality is going down.Still a little better than similar establishment of that level in kolkata. Better than Spencers.

Nice place 👌🏻 for shopping 🛍 at low wholesale prices. Very much crowded after 3 pm. Billing counter staffs are not 👎upto the mark takes very long time for billing so if you are going there should at least take 3 hrs on hand. Should recommend 👌🏻 for everyone.

Great one stop solution for most of our needs. Mostly products are sold at wholesale prices but there are exceptions too as I saw few products was priced little bit higher than available in the market. Main issue is one need to have trade license to become a metro cash & carry customer which most of us dont have. Another big issue I faced while billing the products, shopping feels great but billing bores a lot. It may take more than couple of hours standing in the que on billing line. Most of the time billing line is too long.

Well.. this is huge store and everytime I go to this store I end up collecting lots of stuff which is not useful for me for next 3-4 months.Avg spend goes till good thousands. I havent seen wide discounts and feel Spenecers is cheap and my spend would be 1/3..No temptations to buy in quantity.Only positive side is, it has wise range, lots of private labels.This format is established for shopkeepers to buy, buy eventually this has become another super market for direct consumers.

I have been shopping at Metro Cash & Carry since 2015. Hands down its the best Market if you want branded goods. The staff is cooperative and responsive. The availability of range is great, however, the range of sizes available is lukewarm. You cant find stocks of XXL and XL often. In shoes, 8,9, and 10 are hotcakes. Chances are that you wont find your size. In food, I dont think any mall in Kolkata can deliver such range of food items. There are rare items too which you cannot find outside. For the years I have been there, it has continued to grow in size. In the 2015 and 16, they used to give gifts for purchase above certain price. Now its not so. Hoping that it will come back. But sometimes the discount are so great that you cannot not buy it. Its exclusive to cardholders only though. And minimum purchase is Rs.1000.

It was very much crowded yesterday. It seems corona has not received any membership there.Had a very bad experience in the queue .A so called gentleman in front of us had placed an trolley in the queue along with his accomplice and later saw him loading a Trolley full of goods in the earlier trolley. on my objecting to his cunning act the Store supervisor intervened and helped me to overtake him.Suggest such un ethical practice by customers should be stopped strictly.
