Recently, they have started cleaning the drains and keeping the trash in front of the entrance !!! And my neighbors have also started dumping trash in the same place. Pathetic situation. The municipality website mentions about a Samadhan App, but the provided link does not work !!!I edit this review to mention that I visited the Drainage department in the municipality office and after informing the office about the situation, they have responded promptly and have cleaned the premises. I appreciate their effort and approach towards the residents for this job.

Located right near the Madhyamgram Chowrasta in a very high traffic and dense zone. Almost no place to park your 4 wheeler and limited pla e to park your 2 wheeler (that too at your own risk). The staff, however, are more friendly that general government officials.

Madhyamgram Municipality has stooped to a new low after the recent flooding events at LIC Township.Just after a little bit of rainfall the houses in LIC Township are flooded as the municipality has narrowed down (a once very broad ) the canal at 9 no gate.Peoples houses are being flooded, ample of things destroyed, lots of snakes and insects entering the house , all while the incompetent municipality sits with their hands folded.

Very poor service, employees are most worthless and lier people are available in every department,they dont do their work properly,even they are every time ready for gossips and nobody will get help from them,even no work happens on proper time.I given for new tax and received a slip from there will do this work within 7working days but 30working days already gone,my file is in pending status... whats going on I dont understand.Very very very much poor service.

Madhyamgram was one of the twelve feudal provinces of Bengal.
