Madhusudan Mancha near Dakshinapan Shopping complex is a great theatre. You can enjoy a show very comfortably and the indoors is very clean and well-maintained.

Well connected with the Shealdah and southern Kolkata. Sitting capacity is not as much as Nazrul Mancha but organizing a semi-large scale programme is very much happening here. Sanitation system is also very much updated.

A nice auditorium. Theater shows and other cultural programs are staged regularly. Outside atmosphere is also attractive, worth spending time here.

The first time I visited the place was on 5th May 2019 . It is located in Dhakuria, Dakshinapan Shopping complex. It is a stage for theatres, cultural performances etc. The best thing about the place was the cleanliness.

Is an auditorium located in Dhakuria beside Dakshinapan Shopping complex, it is an open plaza specially famous for the evening addas (gossips and chitchats) spending quality evening time among people of all ages sits near the stair cases in front of auditorium for a gala time.The auditorium itself is very good with excellent seatting arrangements generally is given for rent to schools and other organistions for annual functions, events and programmes.

It has big auditorium which can easily consume 500 people. Besides, acoustic is also very very good. Chairs are comfortable enough. Stage is also big.This situated just beside of Dakshinapan market near to Dhakuria bridge.

A well known auditorium located in Dhakuria. The place hosts cultural programmes such as vocal arts, dance, drama are regularly. The auditorium is quite big and have approximately 800-1000 sitting capacity. Only problem is with the sound system. A better sound system would have earn a five star rating.

Large Auditorium which can seat 500 people. They have both stall and balcony seating arrangements. The place hosts many cultural programmes, especially plays. The acoustics are very good and lighting is decent. The stage is also very big. The auditorium is also very clean. It is just beside the Dakshinapan Shopping Complex and right on the main road, so connectivity is also very good.

Unfortunately the asthetic beauty of Madhusudan Mancha has been destroyed by the government by constructing the Urban Haat building. It has covered the beauty of the front facade of Madhusudan Mancha which could have been avoided. Furthered there is not enough leg room between rows of seats.

Cultural centre of South Kolkata. Nowadays, functions are not held regularly. Although, renovation works have been completed already. Have wide premise to sit and pass time with friends, best with girl friends if available. Added benefit of having market complex, even its not properly managed. Government should take initiative to popularize this landmark area.

The place is adjacent to Dakshinapàn Shopping Mall. We went there to see a drama staged by Rangapat. The communication of this Mànch from our home is convenient. The hall is good but the toilets for women needs to be improved.

The Madhusudan Mancha at Dhakuria bus stop is a location where cultural activities are being performed. During the left front government the Mancha started to work and will go on and on. At the time of Pachiche Baisakh and Baishey Shravan people gather here to celebrate Tagore. I am really looking forward for many more occasions to be organized by the Mancha. Thanks.

I have been there in the last week. It was a ceremony of musical ensemble .The location of this madhusudan mancha is very apt for every sort of transportation is available from the nearby locations.The seats and the whole arrangements were so comfortable.Overall it was a very nice experience!

Specious auditorium at Dakshinapan, just beside Dhakuriya bridge. Dakshinapan host a lot and variety of garments and handicrafts shops from wide range of States of India. Also good food shops and speciality tea shop is there. But the hall needs better maintenance.

South Kolkata located center for drama art and culture. Unlike other similar halls, it has sufficient sitting arrangement. Very near to dhakuria railway station. But adjacent parking lot is very small to accommodate. Telephone booking of seats may also possible.

This was opened in 1995 and is managed by the Cultural Department of Government of West Bengal. The auditorium has been recently refurbished and acoustics and interiors have been thoroughly upgraded. I am here today to see a play presented by a renowned Bengali Group Theatre. The seats are quiet comfortable and I terror and lighting arrangements are good. The acoustics I find have been thoroughly improved. This auditorium was an official venue of the Kolkata International Film Festival 2017. The place is well maintained and facilities are clean. The added attraction is the proximity to Dakshinapan, where you can hang out. You can also relax sitting at the outside open arena which is a great place to catch up with your group of friends. Great place for all round entertainment and spending a quality evening outing.
