Nice place. Well decorated. Ambience is good. Ice creams are also eye catching & delicious. But was too sweet due to the decorative items & various mixes. Food was ok type. The place is a bit a expensive.

I visited this place earlier. But today I had mixed experience. The food was delicious as usual. I ordered Abu kebab, veg chowmin and in dessert I ordered Noori (sundae). The service quality has gone down.

Both Rogan Josh and Butter Chicken was well cooked, very delicious and when I had it with the crispy dosa it tasted just amazing. Highly recommended.Mehfil ka shaan was the show stopper, it is a huge platter filled with spicy noodles, biryani, kebabs, Indian Bread or naan, raita and onion rings. This is perfect for 2-3 people. They also provide you with egg and aloo of the Biryani. This platter is an all in one package for biryani and kebab lovers!🔸Abu Chicken with Pita Bread - Served in sticks, comes in 6 pcs with laccha onions. The chicken was very soft and full of flavours.🔹Mutton Rogan Josh with Plain Dosa - I have had Rogan Josh few times but never with dosa and trust me it wont disappoint you. The rogan josh was delicious, perfect balance of spices and soft mutton pieces.🔸Turkish Kebab -Minced Meat mixed with variety of veggies and spices. And other sanitary measures were taken.Coming to the food.Mehfil Ki Shaan : This one is the eye catcher and main attraction here! Costs Rs 499 and has enough quantity for two people! Had biryani rice with aloo and egg. Then two types of chicken kebabs, nepali aloo, naan, spicy noodles and raita.Then comes their dishes with plain dosa.Delhi Butter Chicken with DosaKashmiri Mutton Rogan Josh with dosa.To my surprise they were really good. I guess the combo of dosa with the tangy gravy felt really tasty. The non veg preparations were outstanding! Though to my taste the combo might result salty.Turkish Pizza : This had minced chicken as toppings. The base is very very soft. The outer portion was tasty and soft but became dry. Otherwise the taste was extremely good and it was soft.Then they are serving kebabs with pita breads.Abu Chicken /w Pita Bread : The chicken was on the spicier side. Well cooked and tender pieces. No complaints against the chicken.Turkish Kebab with pita Bread : The kebab was fantastic 🔥 Loved it. A fancy way to call it a Turkish Kebab due to the bell peppers, which made it look bright and colourful.Tbh the kebabs were very very nice, tasty and soft. But the overall combination was a bit dry but from a calorie point of view it is effective.For desserts we had :Noori : 4 scoops of ice cream with nuts and tutty fruitty on top. Its a few min walking distance from Esplanade metro station.Ambience is beautifully decorated with lights and a soft pink tone which actually gives you such happy vibes.Theyve started their special Iftar Menu for this Ramadan season, from which I tried,1. Muskan wala (5/5) - A really cool refreshing drink and a very royal drink flavoured with strawberry and chia seeds so you can enjoy and look after your health as well.2. Mehfil Ka Shaam (5/5) - This is their special iftar thali named which is a must try for a gang of 2-3 people. The thali included biryani with aloo, naan, noodles, two types of kebabs, raita, traditional potato fries and raita. Its itself a very good meal.3. Visited this place today. Extremely disappointed with the food, service. Ordered grilled chicken sizzler and BBQ hot wings. Sizzler had 2 chicken piece which was hard like stone, no taste or tenderness. Hot wings chicken was also not fresh, hence was extremely hard and chewing like rubber. Both were extremely overpriced. When you pay 300+ for a dish, you will expect a good quantity, or else good taste. Both were missing. Will never go again and will not recommend anyone to go.

We ordered a chocolate shake - just a simple chocolate shake. Priced at 210/- it took them about 49 minutes and 3 reminders to prepare. And when it came - it was not sweet. No sugar, too much of cream. Not cold enough.Not going there again

Good Food quality with awesome environment...

The pink egg was the USP lmao. The ambience is great, the taste is good if not great. Ive gone there only once so theres no way to judge. The location is among the prime ones. You may have to wait to get a table as it is really crowded with families.

Had the worst service Ive ever had at a restaurant, the waiters acted like they had no ears, ignored customers completely. All the other customers were very concerned about such pathetic service too. Had to go somewhere else after waiting for 20 minutes without even giving an order. Overpriced food and nonsense management are not the best attributes for a restaurant for sure.

Compared to the price the sundae was nothing extra ordinary. Specially the chocolate based one we ordered was served with a cold dry brownie. The waffles served in the sundae were evidently old and was smelly. The fruit based sundae was better in comparison.

Though the food is quite good, but the service is extremely extremely bad. Nobody in the staff cares to greet anyone. You have to wait a long time in the que to get the seats. Even you have to ask for the bill or water for several times.Food delivery time is also quite a bit. And the quality has degraded a lot over the years.

Scoop has come up with some amazing drinks and some fusion food which is available from this puja.I would really like to write a few words about the kind of food they serve.Poles apart is a type of biriyani which consists of butter chicken, Biriyani and Dosa. This combines the flavour of South and North. A spoonful of this biriyani is the celebration of flavours. They got both of the culture together in one dish.Next one is Thai me, here they have experimented a bit with the fusion of Thai curry and biriyani. What I liked is though biriyani is overpowering itself, the taste of green curry is present and its not lost.For the vegetarian option they have Peri peri French fries combined with pulao rice. Very bad food. Very bad staff behaviour, especially the angry lady behind the counter during the 4pm shift. Chicken tikka masala had no chicken tikka but gross boiled chicken in a gravy that had the weirdest taste of mustard oil. Worst money spent. Mood is pathetically spoilt.

The chicken cutlet was very crunchy and delicious and filled with lots of chicken. It was awesome. The Kebab platter had six kebabs and Biryani rice. It was superb! The Chicken Sizzler was just finger licking good. It was served with Parsley Rice, lots of veggies and two pieces of juicy chicken.The desserts are a must try here. Scoop is one of the restaurants in Kolkata which is famous for its ice cream and dessert flavours . It is located at The New Market area in Esplanade, beside KFC and below New Empire Cinema Hall. The ambience of this restaurant is very attractive. If you are an ice cream lover and love desserts too then this place is a must visit. There are other varieties of food available here too. We had ordered Zing Zang from the menu which was brownies topped with vanilla and chocolate ice creams and this was super yummy.

Though the ground floor has lost its grandeur and replaced by more trendy yet horribly cheaply cultured shops, scoop has tried to maintain the old Calcutta charm till date, though modified a lot. Menu has brought up many a trendy dishes but today they they were serving ,as a part of Christmas celebration, old Calcutta Anglo Indian foods. Prices are little upish but food were good . Staffs are well behaved. Loved to go after a long time

Tik Tok Murg (festive special) - 2⭐️[Nothing special about this variant of kebab, 3 pcs in a small bowl with a slice of lemon. Guess the only thing special about this was that the pieces were actually on top of the green dip. So, even if you didnt want to have the dip, tough luck my friend]2. Grilled prawn (in garlic butter sauce, bread rolls & veggies) - 1⭐️[Starting with getting us the wrong order (rice instead of bread rolls), being casually unapologetic about it, and the frozen prawn being dry and tough AF, this dish was a dismal failure]3. As You Like It (classic sundae) - 2⭐️[They served the 3 scoops of ice cream along with the prawns. So, eventually by the time we had finished the prawn and planning to move to the dessert, it was already about 70% molten]Amazingly understaffed, I personally had to go up to the counter to ask for the welcoming glasses of water. The food came in either at distant interval, or, as in the case of the dessert, not following any logical order.A definite 1⭐️ for this place, keep it up 👍🏽
