I had been to Pavilion, having heard of this restaurant, completely based on the theme of Cricket, having collected relics from many matches all over the world.The place looks absolutely fantastic, with some astonishing pieces of memorable articles from matches, including signed cricket bats, signed balls from various matches.Coming to the food, it was an absolute delight, being at this place. The food is just incredible, with amazing starters. My favorite one would certainly be the Beer Batter Fish and the Tempura Prawn. The main course was something, I would again recommend you to try especially the Lachchha Paratha and Kadhai Chicken. Having travelled around the globe for quite some time. I can say this Restaurant cum Cafè is in a league of its own. There are a handful of establishments which have their central theme as Cricket. Im fortunate enough to have visited the ones in England and Sri Lanka. The food served here is absolutely lip-smacking and one of its own and can successfully deliver to the Indian palette. The Chai served here is to die for. The memoribillia in the cafè accentuates your taste buds and leaves you craving for more.Thank You Team Pavilion for a wonderful experience.

Ambience was nice but the food was not upto the mark. If you are looking for sometime pass u can visit this place but for food purpose there are hell of better places in judgment of food.

Ambience is amazing.They serve some amazing,delicious and finger licking dishes.We have tried some of delicious dishes from their menu.Gondhoraj lebu ghol- This welcome drink was so much refreshing.Mangolic wrap- Love this dish.Chicken cooked with some spices and wrapped with a omelette. This one was so spicy and tasty as well.Tempura prawn- This Japanese dish was too good. Crispy coated prawns were perfectly made.Pea grilled fish- Soft pieces of fish grilled with some masala was very tasty.Chicken cheese kebab- Succulent chicken with cheese they served was so tasty. Chicken was tender.Pahari kebab- This kebab was also good. The taste was mint leaves,coriander leaves, lemon, green chillies was perfectly balanced.Cumin fish-Fish was so soft. Fragrance of the masala with the taste was awesome.Beer battered fry- This is a fried fish.A fresh fish filet fried with a batter made with flour,eggs,beer,salt and seasonings.Club sandwich- This sandwich layered with shredded chickens,juicy tomatoes,cucumbers was really good.Steamed chicken cheese momo- This juicy cheesy momo was awesome. Stuffing of minced chicken and cheese was too good. Outer layer was so thin. Loved this.Bangla fried rice- Steamed basmati rice fried with lots of veggies,cashews,raisins was awesome. Loved the little bit sweetness of the fried rice.Kadhai Chicken- This North Indian dish was perfect with Bangla fried rice. Gravy was so tasty. Chicken pieces was so soft and perfectly cooked.Laccha paratha- This multi layered flat bread was really good.Chicken tikka butter masala- This Indian chicken gravy dish was perfect. Succulent roasted chicken pieces dunked in a creamy gravy was awesome.Gokul pithe- Finished with this mindblowing dessert.This is basically kheer stuffed sweet fried dumplings soaked in thick sugar syrup. Enjoy this IPL season at the pavilionPavilion by plaite is a new food joint of park circus located just opposite to zeesan. It doesn’t look as spacious from outside as it actually is. Although park circus is jammed with numerous restaurants and cafes which are already popular but it won’t take too long for a place like pavilion to establish them self.Various cricket memorabilia including signed bats, balls , jerseys adorns the walls of the restaurant. Overall a different atmosphere then every other restaurant. Food is also delectable and praiseworthy.To start off we had Gondhoraj lebu ghol, a traditional Bengali lassi which has an additional ingredient of ghondhoraj lemon to add an extra aroma.For the starters we tried a few dishes like the Mongolian wrap which has chicken paste wrapped inside thin egg sheets.Tempura prawns : a traditional Japanese dish made of fresh prawns coated in a batter and deep friedChicken cheese kebab : An all time favourite , boneless chicken pieces marinated with malai or cheese and finished in the tandoor or grilled.Pahari kebab : Pahari kebab or hariyali kebab is another take on the classic tikka kebab where the chicken is marinated with herbs , curd and sometimes green chilly paste before it is grilled. This is green in colour and hence the name.Cumin fish : A new dish tried where boneless fish fillet has been chopped into pieces coated in a very thin and light batter and fried with cumin seeds.Beer batter fry: Another popular appetiser where boneless Bhetki fillet has been coated in beer batter and deep fried to give it a crispy texture from outside whereas underneath you get a moist flaky and juicy fish fillet.Club sandwich: A gigantic sandwich with multiple layers of fresh veggies ,mashed chicken. A little dry to be honest, may be adding some mayo and cheese will increase its beauty.Shredded chicken cheese momo : Momos with great filling , cheese oozing out paper thin outer cover.For the mains we had fried rice in Bengali style, rice cooked with lots of veggies , cashew , raisins paired with Kadhai chicken. A rich gravy of chicken with lots of Indian spices.Laccha paratha and Chicken tikka butter masala also played its part in our grand supper. flFlaky lachcha paranthas paired with cream butter masala is always a great combo to deal with.For the desserts we had Gokul pithe , a traditional Bengali sweet which is a coconut based fried dumpling soaked in cardamom flavoured sugar syrup. The sweetness of the sugar was spot on.

It was served with the usual red chilly chutney.Kadhai chicken : A popular North Indian delicacy prepared with chicken cooked in a spicy and flavourful gravy made with onions, tomato, capcicum and freshly ground spices.We paired it with our very own Bengali style fried rice, which was loaded with veggies, raisins and cashews.Chicken tikka butter masala : Another blockbuster from the North indian Cuisine. Chicken tikka chunks cooked in a tangy, tomato based rich gravy. We paired it with flaky, layered laccha paratha.Gokul pithe : We ended our meal with this traditional Bengali pithe. It is basically khoya stuffed fried dumpling soaked in cardamom flavoured sugar syrup. The pithe was soft and the sweetness was perfectly balanced.Apart from the amazing food and hospitality, I was also impressed with the proper maintanance of sanitization, social distancing and hygine protocols followed in the restaurant.

Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, seated and drink order taken, was maybe 8 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful.

A tale of 2 greatest pleasures for us Kolkatans - Delicious food & Cricket. Below the new wing of Maa flyover beside Zeeshan, I came across this newly opened hidden gem called Pavilion. The smell of the fresh brewing tea and kachoris drew us in.Tea is awesome and the Kachoris and Samosa are hot and tasty. But the surprise awaited inside. The whole restaurant has been done up tastefully with loads of cricket memorabilia like autographed bats, caps jerseys etc.The amazing interior is ably supported by tasty food. Fresh delicious kebabs, pasta, combos, indian food etc. A must visit place for us foodies who are also cricket buffs.
