As someone who has lived in Montreal where there is a huge Lebanese population, Ive tried many Lebanese restaurants.(One even featured a belly-dancer on Saturday nights along with a cultural programme.) I dont expect the Indian versions of the same to live up to that standard BUT Shawarma Nation should be sued by all nations whose people consume shawarmas for misappropriating the name.To be fair, I didnt order a shawarma - I ordered Shish Tawook and hummus with pita bread and paid Rs., 40 for garlic sauce added on the side. The Shish is supposed to be marinated skewered chicken but this tasted like only colour had been added (bland x 10).The hummus tasted like some kind of processed powdered paste with absolutely no flavour. Its supposed to be chickpea blended with tahini, garlic, lemon juice with olive oil on top. Sometimes Paprika is added for a little punch. This was garbage - I wouldnt offer it to my dog (and didnt, BTW) ! And, the garlic sauce.was a microscopic amount of white sauce that tasted like regular mayo with sugar added - gross!! Not a single item even measured up to other Lebanese/Arab joints in Kolkata, let alone what Im used to.If a restaurant cant make hummus and they slap that sweet junk sauce on to a Shawarma, Im sure that item isnt up to par,, either. Unless you like throwing away your money on tasteless food, avoid this place. The chicken Shawarma wrap or sandwich at South City Spencers Food court is way better! And, cheaper, too. Its a place I recommend if you dont mind being crammed on not so clean chairs and tables with tons of shoppers during a global pandemic. I cant fault the food, though. (Take it out and it it in your car or on the street - much safer). There was a hole-in-the wall eatery called Royal Lebanese on Sarat Bose Road, which was also pretty decent but I believe it has since closed maybe due to the Pandemic. Even Go Lebanese, basically a street meat place, which has shawarma sauce that also suffers from a sugar addiction, is still better than this place. Im a Bengali/Bangali who is not averse to sweets and sugar in food - but , COME-ON, does it have to be added to everything in this city??? There is no place for sugar in Lebanese food, except for the desserts (maybe in pickling turnips - though Im not even sure of that).

Though smoothies are available everywhere but still here its a bit different. When u have it u will understand how thick it is. Made with least percentage of water and all pure juice.👉Chicken Rice Bowl- This is a new time which I had. It is served in a ready made box containg rice topped with chicken pieces and inside the rice is a gravy. This is a small outlet in lord’s more. This place can accommodate about 10-12 people at a time. I ensure I visit this place everytime I’m here in kolkata. Thayer serve amazing Lebanese food and had been a visiting this place for over 7 years now.Earlier they used to only server shawarma rolls and salad but this time I was impressed with the wide spread menu. I had tried a new item from the list that was shawarma shots very crispy from outside and super soft inside.Also I was impressed with the salad quantity this time compared to what I had tried last in 2019. So I would definitely recommend this place to all those meat lovers out there! I’m sure you would love the lebanese food served here.

Went to shawarma nation Lords More outlet with friends one of my first outings post pandemic. I wanted to try some good Mediterranean and lebanese food while keeping hygiene and safety in mind. We had ordered one chicken shawarma wrap, I absolutely loved the thickness of wrap along with the mayonnaise coated with it. Wraps are an integral part of this restaurant. The Moroccan falafel wrap was my favorite with a very distinct taste. When it comes to Mediterranean dishes hummus is a must. The hummus here was authentic in taste and was good.Chicken shawarma bowl was a tad bit spicy with chicken chunks and gravy it was mild yet perfectly suited the taste.Fattoush salad was filled with veggies but was a very delectable salad.The chicken albama curry was delicious with mild taste and tender pieces of chicken. We had tried 3-4 smoothies of different taste. They were of kisi, strawberry and mango flavours. Id personally suggest the kiwi smoothie to be the best.I absolutely loved the Lebanese food and had a great experience.

You will get a total Middle East vibe over there...What I ate:🔅Chicken Shawarma Rice Bowlwhich is 170/- and its quite filling. It looks really tempting. The bowl is totally filled with rice and chicken and they also provide some salad along with it.🔅Chicken Nuggets, which looks really yummy. They serve 5 nuggets with mayonnaise in just 140/-. Its really crispy and crunchy.🔅Israeli Chicken Shawarma, which is absolutely filled with mayonnaise, chilli pepper and veggies. Its costs 160/-🔅Smoothie was also really good.You need not worry about the hygiene they maintain all the hygiene and will give you disposable plate and spoon each time you order.

One of my favourite Shawarma joint in town. Love them. Love there food. The quality has always been great. I do generally visit there Lords More and Kasba centres.Dont forget to try there Mint Lemon Coolie. Its super refreshing and a must have after a Shawarma.

Shawarma Nation is located Lords more which nearby South City Mall & This shop famous for Shawarma have different varieties of Shawarmas.The ambience & Seating space less hardly 10-11 people are seat once in a time. Otherwise the food is tasty but have a doubt of freshness of the chickens.

The shawarma and falafel place you have gotta try if you are in Kolkata. Its located right opposite to the Prince Anwar Shah traffic signal, at the Lords More. They make some amazing stuffs and I enjoyed eating there.

Tried their Lebanese chicken wrap, Israeli, falafel, irani chicken wraps, shawarma & Irani chicken rice bowls, crunchy chicken burger, chicken shawarma salad, classic hummus & Arabi biryani.The warps are amazing with great filling. The pita bread that they serve is also great.

An affordable place for trying out Lebanese cuisine, a must for anyone looking to try something new. Their service is prompt and all their prices are listed pre-taxed so you pay exactly what is written, something that not too many places offer these days. Also since taste of food is subjective, quality however, in my opinion is pretty decent.

I visit this place quite often. I am a big fan of Shawarmas. This place is located in Lords more. They sell different kinds of wraps, burgers and smoothies. They have changed their menus and deducted few items but increased many other types of burgers and platters. They have a small sitting area inside. The wraps are so deliciously prepared that will make you lick your fingers for a long time.

Been there 2-3 time but shawarma is never ready always sayin it will take 40mins-1 hr

Loved the food, especially the grilled items... They take a little time, but its worth the wait..

Opted for Delivery from this takeaway joint!**Things Tried** = We were a group of hungry men and had ordered for :♛ Tunisian Shawarma :: This was awesome, with spicy harissa sauce and toum(a special garlic sauce), loved the crunchy stuffings.♛ Tender grill chicken burger :: Probably my favourite from the list, and I would suggest all to try this one,the spicy mayo sauce makes it finger licking good.♛ Shawarma Sub :: Submarine with shawarma meat stuffed inside a huge submarine burger. 1 sub is enough for 3 people I would say.♛ Turkish Shish Tawook :: Shish tawook is a Lebanese chicken kebab that was served with some pita breads and I liked this.♛ Arabic Chicken Dum Biriyani :: Comes with raita, it is different in taste and not like the regular dum Biriyanis we have in Kolkata, with cashews and raisins topped with some onions. I liked it however.**Purse Check** = Rs.400/- would be more than enough for 2. Very reasonably priced place.**Overall** = They serve some quality Turkish and Lebanese dishes, I would order once again the Grilled Chicken Burger and Shish Tawook. Cheers!

Earlier the staffs used to make swarama wrap the best but since they left and new people joined the taste has drastically dropped down. I am eating from this place for almost 5 years and I can feel the difference. Let me know if you too feel the same.

Good place to have some good shawarma but sitting place is small

Its is not about the food its about the behaviour and unprofessional attitude from the staff who denied taking order from me saying the kitchen is closed where as within next 2mins or less the outlet took order from another customer without any hesitation.In this adverse pandemic situation where most of the businesses are struggling to survive such behaviour is quite unacceptable and foolish from the brand. I am sorry but I have to mention the name of the staff as such people do not deserve to take the place of an unemployed yet deserving candidate. Thanks a lot Sanjoy Das..if it was his real name..

Its good in presenting the dish... But somehow the place is not that charming. May be due to space constraints. We had Shawarma salad looks good in 1st place but can be better on mouth next time while I visit.

Food quality is good but the quantity is microscopic. And to top that off the staff there are very rude they dont know the meaning of being polite. This is a shout out to the owner of the shawarma nation, please train your staff the basic of customer service.

Ordered the Chicken Sub and Chicken Alabama Rice. The sub was cold, didnt taste fresh and i found a chicken feather! A CHICKEN FEATHER! Heights of negligence! The rice dish isnt even near enough to satisfy a grown persons hunger. So less quantity for such a high price Totally disappointed! What a rip-off! Wish I could get a refund or something!

Visited here a few days back to celebrate brother birthday, and chose to have few of our favourite delicacies from here. The items which we took were Chicken Hummus Beiruti,Smoothies, Crispy Chicken Burger and finally the famous Lebanese shawarma wrap. The items were excellent and served hot, proper sanitization facilities were available. The quality of the food items were wonderful. The burger was crispy and juicy and the pita bread used in hummus was simply wow and went really well with the mayo sauce, quantity of chicken provided in each items was simply excess and at the end our tummies really got food. The smoothies were wonderful, I took a mango smoothie. It was an awesome blending. Really enjoyed the meal. Looking forward to visit again❤️

The food is not bad types ....But I have had better Shawarma Rolls... I must say...There is no parking and it could be a complete nuisance with the local auto drivers even with a 2 wheeler ...But the worst part is the cook just wont listen to your request.

Really good quality food. I love Middle-Eastern cuisine so this place is my go to for food cravings. Prices not very affordable but still the pricing is good.The picture below is of Cheesy Chicken Burger which replaced the Lebaneh Chicken Burger. This is pretty heavy, tasty and worth the ₹140/- cost.

Cozy place. If you r planning with family parcel will be better option. If you go as a couple its very nice and cozy place. The ambience is amazing with deemed yellow lights. Among the foods swarma varieties are awsome afcourse though Lamb/mutton wasnt available. Not much variety for drinks.

Why is shawarma so hyped? Its better in other cities but dont try it in kolkata not worth the price instead have regular roll of your choice.
