A very good hotel to stay for individuals as well as for family. Hygiene is ensured. Staff is humble and polite and provides good service. Food is served in room due to pandemic situation. Food is fresh and taste is good. Location of the hotel provides good connectivity. Overall good experience and recommended for good and safe stay.

We stayed here for 1 night in Feb 2021. Hotel was undergoing renovation work. Our room was partially renovated, bathroom was not renovated. Hotel location is excellent, approx 10 car parking space inside premises, nice restaurant and party hall is availble in hotel. They accept all Cards. Limited rooms with good views.

First Good hotel as you just enter in Kolhapur city from Mumbai Bangalore highway.

We booked via Yatra.com app for family 2 adults + 1 Child. They just gave us 1 bottle of water? It should normally be 1 bottle per person in all hotels above 2 stars. Tight parking space. So not so good experience upon check-in!!

It was a quick stop for dinner since the restaurant at the place we were supposed to stay had closed and we were pretty late by the time we reached Kolhapur (10:30 pm) and were famished. We had previously stayed in Hotel Ayodhya on our many trips to Kolhapur over the years. The rooms had been comfortable and the staff polite and cooperative. The food in the restaurant is really tasty. The highlight of the night apart from the food was the live music. It was superb the guy who was singing was amazing.Note to the Management: the singer on the night of 01/02/2020 was amazing!

The hotel is located at a convinient lication with connectivity actoss the city. The hotel staff and management is polite and helpful. The room size is sufficient and rooms are clean. They do give free toileteries and 1 drinking water bottle per room.( differs from room to room so check if you are eligible for the type of room you booked) The rooms and lift make the hotel ♿ accessible from inside, however the entrance is not ♿ accessible as it has few steps. They have an internal laundry, room service, reception hall, banquet area, dining area and a restaurant too. They do have vallet parking facility. They follow COVID measures.😷

Comfertable place, nice rooms, with friendly atmosphere. Restaurant service and food is excellent. We did not had breakfast as were busy attending Wedding ceremonies. Should do regular maintenance is the only advice. I will come to stay again if happen to visit Kolhapur.

I had never been inside hotel Ayodhya. But it has been a landmark for all kolhapurkars. That area is known as Kawala Naka, but many of the people doesnt locate this, as there is no such landmark.Tararani statue is another landmark there.But specifically where you can look for a person , it is hotel ayodhya..Shanbhag family runs this hotel whole heartedly.

Hotel Ayodhya is situated at the entrance of kolhapur city at Tararani chowk. It is an old hotel with comfortable rooms and good food. Breakfast is simple maharashtrian fare. Lunch and dinner is on the restaurant on first floor and has a good choice of veg and non veg food. The restaurant is pretty popular with locals. The food is good and quantities decent

Ayodhya has been my favourite venue for arranging get togethers. Understanding of customer liking and preparing their menu accordingly has been a speciality of Hotel Ayodhya. When you plan a get together or ceremony, explain them a theme and be assured your ceremony will be memorable one.

Rooms were not clean, they dont serve breakfast in the room, as you are need to pay extra if you need your breakfast in room, bathroom were not properly maintained

I have travelled to Kolhapur for the first time. I went to the hotel after hearing from my friend that it will be good. I reached a bit late and I asked if the food is available to serve and they said yes. I waited sitting for 10min and I asked who is gonna take the order. Suddenly a random server just told, no food is available and it’s closed. There is no kind of regret gesture from anyone there. At last I moved out. You just don’t need better ambience to get people into, learn to behave with customers. Whatever taste your food may be, I won’t recommend people to visit the place.

Rooms are big, washrooms are clean and big too. Only issue is electric sockets are very less and not at convinient places like beside bed on both sides. So charging mobile and other things is irritating.Breakfast is average. Staple menu like omlet, pohe, upma, Shira, tea, coffee, basic misal etc. One cant get toasts for omlet or otherwise which is surprisingly disappointing.

What you get is filled from a water purifier.For kolhapur, the rates are quite high for the quality and services that they are offering.

Very good restaurant. The food is tasty. We liked the Jawar roti and Vangyachi bhaji. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. We went here 3 times so far and found nothing to complain. There is also kids play area.

An amazing place to stay whilst visiting the beautiful city of Kolhapur. Its on a 10 minute walking distance from the railway station as well as the bus station.

Went there for a late lunch around 3pm, very friendly and curtious service. Modern building, well kept partotioned air con restaurant with good first floor views through full glass overlooking the outer terrace and surrounding area. International standards throughout, clean bathroom facilities, everyting works! Good food, no stomach problems afterward. Easy to find on a main road with many landmarks in a relatively quiet part if town. They also have a Texas licenced bar.

A pleasant place for a stay at Kolhapur.The hotel accepted the booking over the phone & that too without any advance payments.The place is at a walk-able distance from the bus and railway station.Location is on a principal road & is noticeable even while moving.The parking lot is tad small.Rooms are elegant.Choice of items for morning breakfast is limited.

The hotel rooms were good. The best part of the hotel is the staff. My son fell sick and had to be rushed to the doctor and was advised to eat home cooked food. In an unknown land expecting home cooked food is not possible. But the hotel staff assured us. Cooked special food like home for my son. Frequently inquired about his well being. Most importantly inspite of being in business didnt charge a penny for the service provided towards my son. Thumbs up! Looking forward for more stays.

They have renovated the hotel now and it looks pretty good now.The rooms are spacious, good with all the necessary amenities.Prices are decent, affordable.They provide complementary breakfast.They also have a bar. Variety of cocktails, cocktails are served here. Prices are a bit on a higher side.The restaurant - Mithila is very good and the food is delicious with lot of variety.Recommended dishes -Starter - Veg. PlatterVegetable/Curry - Veg. Kheema PersundiVeg. KothimbiriDum Biryani is tasty too.All in all, when in Kolhapur, I would recommend this restaurant.
