Just the location is awesome. All rooms have Vally view. And the bathroom of truck house is on another level. Feels like taking bath under the natural waterfall. I am really overwhelmed by your service and friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and the view was out of this world. We were very fortunate to see peacocks roaming around in the fog. Thank you Nisarga for such an amazing experience.

Room was really nice, clean spacious. The view of the hills & valley was a real treat. However, the overall package was not really a value for money, food was good but lacked variety & avg. price seems to be quiet high. Maintenance of the rooms need more improvement & the overall landscape of the campus was way below my expectation. Apart from having a nice view of the hills & comfort of the room, there was nothing more in offer.

Beautiful resort .Need to book prior as they are alwez full of reservations.there is no connectivity with city .Its highly expensive that its worth.If you want to enjoy nature then must go for a stay.

We were planning our weekend since very long, and we were so excited about friends get togather at Nisarg hotel, booking was done for the Stone cottage for 8 people, advance payment was also done. At last moment we got a call that it has been given to someone else you take something else. But no cottage is as big as the stone cottage. After some arguments he offered to refund like he is showing pity on us.Very rude behaviour.Not recommended.

I felt place is little pricey.. food options for breakfast needs to be revisited and shall be served hot..

We had a completely unique experience staying in the truck room and the spa room... the rooms are extremely spacious, clean and very unique. the staff is very courteous and helpful and food is delicious!evening activities like live flute and laziem dance, bonfire in the room, cycling, chess, rustic feel to the entire place.

Nisarg is an awesome place to stay if you are ok the Pune Bangalore highway. Best for a one night break if you are enroute to Goa or Bangalore.

Its a nice resort on outskirts (45 mins away) of Kolhapur. The rooms are nice and clean. Kids enjoy playing in the play area... There is a dog / birds / hens... And a spacious dinning area... The food variety is limited but its fresh yummy hygienic food...They will give you child friendly food...

Great place to stop en route from pune to goa . Missed Rhino the resident dog. Peaceful. Caring staff. Good butter chicken and bhakhri. Nice and simple breakfast. Visited the Jyotiba temple that was close by. Trees need to be pruned as they block the view from the balcony. Fun to come here as a group

Around 5 Kms from highway and on d main road to Jyotiba / Panhala when going from Kasarwadi phata.....place is very beautifully made with stone structure, stone interiors, path ways, green grass lawn, childrens play area.... Truck homes n stone cottage etc.... Good service..... Excellent food, attention to details, hygiene and natural beauty (Nisarg).... Loved our stay! Even visit to Rock garden for sunset viewing was Gr8 experience! Off roading in 4 X 4 gypsy! Wil make this a stop on d way to Goa..... Everytime!

I have visited Kolhapur for the very first time properly and I went straight to Nisarg. The sheer beauty of this place makes you feel at peace the instant you land there. And the way they have maintained the place, cleanliness and services are on point. If you are an entrepreneur or a business owner you would realise that maintaining such a place is no Joke. The food is simply delicious and no matter what you ask for will be made available to you. And the staff is always humble. A must visit for any age group.

A very nice place on top of a hill, which gives you a nice view over the city. We had villa one, with a great bath next to a valley overlooking window, which was great at night! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the private balcony was a nice extra.The bathroom was one of the nicer ones weve seen in India, with a rain shower in the ceiling.The breakfast was a bit less perfect. Maybe its because there were not much guests when we were there, but we had expected more of this.

We recently booked Nishigandh honeymoon suite for 3 days for our honeymoon! The location is fabulous completely located within the company of nature disconnected from the outer world. The rooms are extremely comfortable with all the necessary amenities and room service 24 x 7. Uninterrupted electricity hot water, food and other necessary amenities. The room we booked has a very very beautiful bathroom where one would get a feeling of bathing in nature and not in a bathroom! It has a very high touch of nature and is highly recommended for nature lovers.When we informed the management that we are visiting for our honeymoon they arranged for candle light dinner and faboulous room decoration as a welcome gift. The sitout areas in each room makes it a awesome experience in nature for breakfast lunch or dinner.The service was professional and highly recommended for anyone interested to spend some time in leisure and make the vacation worth.Thank you so much Nisarg for making our stay awesome!

Kharda mutton and chicken was goodService- quick and perfectRooms - spacious. All amenities. Each room with spectator view.Overall good stay. Calm place . No common crowd, good collection of old, antique items, pure village theme restaurants...Good for privacy, relaxation, great food, good for nature lovers, great for photographer, Rock garden must visit....

Stayed at Nisarg for 3days..This place has one of the most amazing views of the entire Kolhapur city. The hotel is really well maintained.hats off to the management. Rooms are clean ,spacious and very well kept.all modern amenities are available. Ambience is also very natural. Thier stone cottage is the pearl of their necklace. It is a room worth staying for overnight stays.. P.S. it has its own private lawn... Food is really up to the mark.. A lot of indoor games of very good quality have been provided. This place is based on a concept of yesterday which can be understoodfrom the decor in their dining area. They still dont have a swimming pool and other amenities, which I learnt they are working on.. Overall one wonderful stay from a very happy customer of room 106 Thank you to the management for making this place they way it is and may God Help you make it better.

MESMERIZING EXPERIENCEWe found this place out of the blue when we were finding a quite place to go for relaxation... As soon as we entered the place we got this vibe of positivity and प्रसन्नता... We stayed at Jai villa and back drop from the balcony was supremely beautiful... Neat and clean rooms, 24 hour hot water available even in the bath tub... This place is enriched with lot of antiques as it is a hobby of owner Mr.Avinash...Talking about food, I loved the simplicity in the style of serving food. One must try Maharashtrian food. Food was not unnecessarily spicy. It was fairly balanced with spices and most importantly didnt have any side effects after eating mutton 3 times in a row. They have a farm to table concept Which I experienced for the first time in India. They grow their own vegetables and have their own poultry too which ensures food made with fresh ingredients always. For me delicious food is important and not the fancy service and unnecessary garnishes. नाथा मामा (head cook) cooks amazing food.Overall staff was very courteous and responsive. One of the best places to visit and stay near Kolhapur. They have just a few rooms, but each room has a splendid view of Kolhapur. And the service is exceptional.They have developed a rock garden close to their property, which can be accessed only by an off-road vehicle. The location and view from the rock garden is just fabulous. We were taken there in the evening. We got a fantastic view of the sunset. We were also served tasty tea and biscuits at that point.I would recommend Nisarg resort for a one or two nights stay to get back in touch with nature with the comfort of a 4 star resort.

Firstly the Nisarg resort is exquisitely designed. Rock steps, natural contours utilized for the design, plenty of greenery, use of earthy colours, generous and large spaces in bedrooms and corridors, quaint design, little things of interest here and there, good food, very clean premises and most dear, an incredibly beautiful location. This is real distressing from the urban chaos. Even on a hot May afternoon, one can sit in the balcony on the bamboo swing and gaze emptily into the lovely view.

Located 6km off NH 48. Overlooing Valley with Kolhapur in the distance. What they claim cottages are actually not cottages but rooms in a common structure Ground+1. Rooms on 1st level have better view. Rooms are of good size. The room is equipped with mini fridge and tea/coffee making stuff. There is a balcony sit out which offers good view of the valley. The other option is Villa room which has bath tub in addition to the standard amenities. There is one so called stone house which can accommodate 6. The food is strictly Maharashtrian and no other option. Menu has limited options. The food is simple but good. No bar. The network coverage is poor in this area. Moreover hotel wifi is not available in the rooms and is erratic, so business travellers beware.

Not sure why its rated low by other users. I almost was in 2 minds whether to book this place. Its located away from the city and offers awesome night views from the balcony rooms. Very well designed and clean rooms. Located far away from the city and noise. Has a restaurant with limited items on the menu, but all Kolhapuri items so offers whats needed. Has limited rooms so need to book in advance on busy days and pre-customers often tend to come back to visit again. Google provides accurate directions to the place and one does not need to ask. The staff are courteous and welcoming. Has limited rooms and staff manning the place. Very good to relax and close by to Panhala. The breakfast is limited to 2 items but can have as much as you need.The place is under expansion and would keep getting better. Mobile signals are limited (which may not be a bad thing) and you can get better signals in the balcony.Would definitely recommend this place if you are using Kolhapur as a stopover and are not specifically looking at a stay in the city.

A calm, relaxing and peaceful stay with excellent cuisine and wonderful ambience (especially the dining area was awesome). Spacious well lit room, balcony overlooking the hills and a lavish bath tub to soothe all senses are worth mentioning. Local entertainment, indoor games and cycling made our stay even more thrilling.

Great place to stop at on a road trip with pets, between Bangalore and Bombay. Allows you to push extra hard on the first day and then take the second day a bit slower. They have two dogs on the property, a large dog and a smaller one. The large dog is normally locked up in his own space. They can also lock up the smaller one, if you need to take your dogs for a walk. The place has good views and decent food, but it gets extra stars for being so pet friendly!

Awesome and worthI stayed here the experience was very good.Sharing some details -Location - superb, scenic landscape. Situated at a small hill top. Cold breezes even in the month of May.Room - AC cottage with Valley view Garden. Nice and affordable room with back doors opening into a garden with a panoramic view of the Kolhapur city.Cleanliness - Extremely well maintained premise. Clean and helathy environment.Service - service was literally beyond expectations.Staff - staff is so friendly and communicative. Really liked the way they treat and respect the customers. My one year old daughter gave them a hard time but they reacted nicely.FOOD - Food quality was simply Awesome. Authentic Maharashtrian taste. Dont go by the size of kitchen. Its small but extremely tasty food comes out from there.Cons -Issues with wi-fi. Probably temporary for the day I stayed.Parking not covered.Finally, the overall experience was very good. Would love to visit again.

Its a resort with three star facilities. Food was mouthwatering. Rooms were very clean and tidy. View from the balcony was excellent. Its little far from the main city , if you are planning to visit Mahalaxmi temple you have to drive atleast 15 to 20kms. Had a nice time.

The resort is on top of a hilloc & has beautiful view. Rooms are spacious. Villa rooms are very good. Stone cottage has a good lawn attached to it for evening get-together. Food was good. The only reason for poor rating is that half of our group members suffered food poisoning symptoms on the last day after we left the resort.

Excellent location with an awesome view of Kolhapur city. Dinner was good. Breakfast was great. A few things need to be taken care of in the stone cottage from a housekeeping perspective for a 5 star review rating - fan not working in top bedroom, inside latch of main door not working, light switches in poor condition, bedsheets need to be replaced before guest checks in. However, these were minor nuisances compared to the overall experience of staying here for the night.

Food is excellent. Resort location pretty good. But seating arrangement in restaurant not comfortable. In bathroom water splashed out as no curtain .

Amazing place! They have three options. Normal rooms, villas, and a cottage. The cottage was beautiful. The staff is extremely helpful. We had an entire front yard to ourselves with a view to die for. Very clean. The food is great too. Economic packages. They even arranged a campfire for us at night.
