A wonderful restaurant serving delectable Asian cuisine.Asian Kitchen ticks all the right boxes - the ambience, the service, menu and the food! The staff is very professional and knows how to pamper the customers. The dining area is spacious and well laid out, not to mention how clean and tidy it is kept. The wash area and the lavatory is spotless, with special mention for for the latter for the way it has been set.The menu is vast, with a huge spread of signature Asian dishes. The prices are a bit toward the high end. However, the experience is worth it.I would suggest Ebi Tempura and Dim-sum. The Tempura is perfectly crispy and cracks in the mouth. The Dim-sum just dances with the spicy flavours. The rice and noodles were delicious, perfectly complimenting the other dishes. The Sushi, however, is an experience I don’t want to be reminded of. Phew.Recommended.

Due to lockdown we couldnt dine in. The takeaway was well packed, with wooden chopsticks and essential packing.Tamago maki/japanese egg roll with wasabi paste, soy sauce and kimchi : the sweet tasting egg was a new experience. The portion size is small, just like all authentic japanese dishes.Tom yum goong thai shrimp soup : Rich with spices, very good when enjoyed hot.Chicken Yaki udon noodles/Japanese buckwheat noodles : a unique taste, thoroughly enjoyed the experience.Although we went at off hours, the staff was super polite and punctual. They returned the calls when they couldnt pick up due to inconvenience and spoke and dealt with us very professionally. The place is a little removed from the city, but easy to find as its opposite Kerala Fine Arts Museum. A board at the side road leading to the restaurant from the main road could benefit sales immensely. All in all, definitely planning to return when dining in is allowed again. The Asian cuisine is an experience, and the aestheic, presentation, unique table manners and dining ambience all contribute to this experience. We regret not being able to dine in.P.S. : If you learn to use chopsticks well, it could help immensely with the experience.

Must visit place in Fort Kochi if you are a foodie. Food is so good. Staff is also very nice. You can try sushi and sashimi from here which is very rare to find in Kerala. For 2 people it will cost approximately RS 1500.Please note that the bathroom has an open roof which might not be convenient for all especially ladies. Also bill has 10% service charge apart from GST. So giving tip is up to you. And this service charge is not mandatory. You can ask them to cancel service charge if you dont want to pay.RatingsFood 5/5Quantity 4/5Staff 4/5Ambience 3/5

Venue : Asian kitchen by Tokyo BayContestants:1. Pork Ribs in BBQ sauce.Sauce tasted more like honey chilly but no complaints as it was truly delicious, soft and juicy.2. Shredded Chicken in Black Pepper sauceHint of pepper was evident in each bite and crispiness gave it that extra edge.3. Sliced Beef and bell pepperThis chap stole the show. Cant explain how ot tasted but it really did play som magic with my taste buds.4. Chilly Chicken DryWas good but struggled a bit to make it to the list.5. Nasi GorengMissed the Sunny side up guy in there, but taste and chicken skewers filled that gap pretty well.6. Vegetable Hakka NoodlesExcelled in tatse and quantity.Result : If you havent guessed it by now, Beef was the clear winner with Pork ribs finishing just few inches behind.Price wasnt definitely on the lower side but for ambience and service they provide, its nothing beyond reasonable.

This place is pretty darn good and has potential to be better! It’s a bit overpriced, especially the tofu dishes. I wish they had more vegetarian options, like veg sushi. We had the vegetable tempura which was amazing and the mint spring rolls, which were just okay. My partner had the Udon noodles, which they kindly made without onions (this place is allergy friendly for sure). He loved them. I had the vegetable wok flat noodles which were just okay. This place also has live music!

Went in with a few of my friends for a lunch on a public holiday and the place was almost filled. Zomato doesnt allow you to book tables here, but it is risky to turn up without a reservation- we were lucky after a quick chat with the steward. I knew local Japanese cuisine well and my friends accepted the challenge to try out a few, so it was The Asian Kitchen by Tokyo Bay where we headed to!We were in the mood for some adventure, so ordered a Miso soup and a Tom Yum (non-adventurous option) to start with and the different varieties of Nigiri Sushi- Tuna, Salmon, Tofu and Egg. The Miso soup (astonishingly, vegetarian base!) was very similar in taste to the Japanese one- so the faint-hearted who cant take the sea-weedy/soy-saucy/fishy taste, stay away from it- I liked it for its authenticity. The sushis were an entertainment with the chop-stick lessons; the wasabi paste was chalky and not fresh, however it is a must try if Japan is on your mind. The meat was fresh and kudos to having provided such well made Nigiri Sushis. On the starters front, veggie tempura was a very safe option and it was well prepared and eaten sumptuously by those who were a tired after the Miso soup :) The chicken-momos were juicy and rightly spicy too (Chinese though I suppose)! Two very well received dishes. For the main-course, ordered each of the Chahan veg rice (said as Japanese), and wok tossed flat rice noodles, along with stir fried veggies and a chicken dish. The flavours in the noddles were a bit over-powering, but apart from that, it all went well. It wouldve been more convenient if the main course was a paired combo of rice/noodle with a sauce/curry. Amidst all this food, we ordered 4 mocktails- the bottom four it was a decent mix.Overall, the place can be recommended if one is in the mood for an adventure and has a deep pocket- 3.3k/4p with Zomato Gold. The ambiance is pleasant and warm, situated inside the Cochin Club- a perfect place for a post lunch stroll. The washroom is inspirational, dont miss it ;)There are some conspicuous spelling mistakes floating around, anybody who finds it reply to my review and your next Nigiri🍣 is on me😉

I ate here tonight and it was one of the best meals I’ve eaten in India! My boyfriend and I shared a soup (they were kind enough to split the soup between two smaller bowls!), rice, Vietnamese pork, veg noodles, and shredded honey chilli chicken - everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The waiters are all so friendly and kind, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The ‘senior captain’ (sorry I can’t recall his name!) was kind enough to bring us prawn crackers and an extra bottle water, neither of which we were charged for!The bill was fantastically priced for all that we ate and we highly recommend a visit here! We’re sad to be leaving Kochi tomorrow, otherwise we’d have visited again!

It’s the one stop place for authentic Japanese food in kochi. I would highly recommend the sushi and the ebi tempura(giant prawns) if you’re a sea food fanatic. The ambience is superb with a beautiful view facing the lawn outside. The service was top notch too. The staff was patient enough to explain each and every dish to me, since I didn’t have a clue about Japanese cuisine. But a fair warning, it will most certainly explode a grenade in you’re pocket. So do pay utmost consideration to this factor. But I would still recommend the Asian kitchen as a must visit eat out spot in fort kochi.

Was excited to see a restaurant serving Japanese here in Kochi. We had salmon sushi, triple fried beef, thai raw papaya salad and thai red curry with jasmine rice. The fish was tasting slightly bad, seemed like it was in the freezer for a long time. While I understand that you cant get fresh salmon in Kochi, it is indeed possible to get frozen fish that doesnt taste bad (we get it even in Bangalore). The beef had also spent some days in the freezer. In Kerala, I dont think I can be blamed for expecting fresh beef. And then the Thai red curry - galangal and Kaffir lime were missing, so again a let-down. Not going back here again.

Very expensive prices for what you get. I ordered the garlic shrimp and broccoli. I received 7 shrimp and 3 very tiny pieces of broccoli. Being that it is one of the most expensive items on the menu at 455rupees, I would think it would be more of a meal not like, an appetizer. I was disappointed. I had to go to another place and get a sandwich- I was still hungry. Why not include more broccoli and maybe some rice or something? It wouldn’t cost them much to include it. Service was impeccable (great)- waiters were very attentive- and the restaurant was nice and has AC. I just hate going to places where I pay much more for something and get only a tiny amount of actual food.
