Pleasant Haveli gives you the most authentic Rajasthani vibes. With beautifully crafted rooms and the luxurious lighting which provides a royal touch at the most affordable price, you wouldnt regret spending every penny on it.

Owner is very good staff is not so good. In toileteries they only Provided shampoo and body lotion. Bedsheet for jharokha is very bad. Overall you can pick this place just make sure things are in place beforehand.

Post Covid 19 review:Only Restaurant review:One of the hotels which was allowing outsiders to have meal in their restaurant. Overall place looked clean with heritage appeal. Restaurant is on the top floor (3rd/4th floor, I guess) and have ample sitting space. Food was amazing with quick service and prompt response by staff. We enjoyed our dinner and had a good time.

We stayed in a sandstone room the night after our desert safari (excellent experience - reviewed elsewhere). The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable and plenty of hot water. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent, but the hotel is also close to the many cafes and restaurants in the old fort area. Highly recommended.

The rooms are nice and clean... washroom was lavish...hot water was available all day... location is central... service was good..room also has a heater...but wifi is an issue.. breakfast was not included in the price..The restaurant is ok, service is very slow but its rooftop nd the jaisalmer fort is visible...no ola/uber available so you can tell the owner, they help u in getting a ride..

Enjoyed staying at this hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful with whatever you need. Rooms are clean and lots of hot water. The rooftop restaurant is cool and has a great view. We also went on their desert trip and it was amazing, about an hours drive, well away from the horrible tourist camps at Sam, it was the perfect end to our trip. Best hotel in town I reckon.

We were coming from a bad hotel and ate diner at the pleasant Haveli rooftop restaurant. We were so in love with the accomodation and the people were incredibly friendly, we left our bad hotel and immediately came to this place. We were so relieved! This place is very welcoming and we immediately felt at home, thank you for taking good care of us, this was our best stay in whole India!! The food at the rooftop restaurant was very good and lots of options,awesome views over the city and fort. We recommend this place to EVERYONE and please do not hesitate coming here, it is really the best place to stay!!

This is THE best place in town. Very clean, very private and very helpful people. The hotel itself is well organized and has a great rooftop terrace. Everyone is genioisly nice and they do not pressure your like so many other places do.They do camel riding, which I highly recommend. The tour was very private (only 3 guests) and felt amazing. The camel ride was amazing and the animals were treated great. They set up a small camp in the sand dessert and cooked a great meal. We were able to bring along heaps of beer. They really went out of their way during the tour and even had a birthday cake for me at midnight (it was my birthday). Thanks again! The night our there is very special and different from other remote places. Heaps of stars of course. You can choose to sleep outside, without a roof, which I recommend. In the morning we drove back by jeep and they even allowed us to take over the wheel, doing some drifting in the sand. Very very nice!

As soon as you reach nearby, you feel like you have stepped in some animal hub. All access routes on foot are full of animal dung. You might witness goats race or cows making faces. Ignore that and step in quickly because all Jaisalmer lanes are full of animals droppings. Cannot be angry at this because these animals are the lifeline of the people out there throughout the rest of non-tourist seasons. So, stepping inside Pleasant Haveli will definitely make you feel pleasant. Sandstone building totally. Nicely done floors and walls. Big rooms. Each room is Color Theme based. In one room if theme is blue, then lights, bed covers, quilts are all blue and likewise. Food is not top-notch but top-roof restaurant has a good view. Nearby there are restaurants with better food. In basement there was some art gallery which I skipped but overall its a more than decent, actually its Five 🌟 definitely. Except for the noises in bathroom coming from nearby rooms, its quite peaceful out there. A small library is also there on terrace.

Good rooms , excellent location close to the fort .. most of the foreigners make this hotel their abode when traveling to jaisalmer.. the only issue is there is no room service , not even for tea or snacks .. the view from the rooftop reataurant is amazing specially of the well lit fort in the night !

We visited the restaurant here. Very serene and calm place. Has a romantic ambience (not recommended for kids). The food was very good and the service was excellent too.Also, the place has very nice fort view. We went there in the night but could imagine how beautiful it would be in breakfast.Also, we wanted to book this for our stay also, but it was packed up but as a hotel also, it looked super clean and full of character.

Lovely place to stay in Jaisalmer. Centrally located. Spectacular rooftop views. Food is not great but the beer and ambience more than make up. Very helpful and responsive staff. Owner on site and minds the place unobtrusively. We will stay here again. They also arrange desert safaris at reasonable prices.

I went for lunch to this restaurant yesterday. I had a worst experience. Worst food and wordt service I ever saw. They took us in we ordered our soup and starts, after few minutes they came to us and said they can’t make food for us because they have a bigger table coming. I don’t know what was that, we are so disappointed and left empty stomach. Don’t even consider to eat there.

Nice place for dinner in night at roof top to get wonderfull view of jodhpur fort. Thali is good but less options in the price which u can get best in other places here. But food is super tasty. Nice service.

We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the hotel, the restaurant and the camel safari. Well worth a recommendation, this was an excellent place to stay in Jaisalmer. The view of the fort was incredible and the location meant easy access to the sights. Great hotel!!

We booked one night in March 2017 but my wife and I were so impressed with the hospitality of the owner and the roof top restaurant we ended up booking an extra night. We had room 10 and it was clean and very comfortable.As we exited the room there was a lovely balcony and seating area with comfortable cushioned seating and electric sockets under the seats for our phones.The views of the fort were spectacular which is beautifully lit up at night. Going up some steps from here and you are straight into the restaurant.One of the highlights of our 1 month tour of India. Thank you to Narinder for his hospitality.

Courteous staff, spacious rooms with an amazing rooftop restaurant. Special mentions to their staff, had one of the most satisfied stay in a hotel. They provide complimentary taxi service to the railway station as well. Their non-commercial camel desert safari is a must try experience.

The hotel is very nice and comfortable, also very well located and convenient. Our room was spacious and clean. The terrace and restaurant have a great view of the Fort. Breakfast is not included and not very good, otherwise food was quite good.

Liked it in many ways. Warm and hospitable staff, clean surroundings and necessities in the attached bathrooms, clean and home like food on a roof top setting.A family stay in the golden room was comfortable with nicely lit and clean room. Its a small property with 9 rooms, more are being added. The front office guy Naresh was more than helpful in making our experience worth the next stay.A recommended place if enjoyable night and personal attention wins over a five star comfort.

The rooms are very clean, clean sheets, comfortable beds, nice Italian showers with hot water 24/7, the staff is awesome (our room wasnt booked and our departure train was late so they allowed us to stay in the room until early evening) and the traditional style of the building makes it for a magical stay. I can not recommend this place enough when visiting Jaisalmer. Vraiment top nhésitez pas.

The staff here are so friendly and inviting, they make you feel like family, really going above and beyond to make sure you have an excellent stay. The havelli is beautiful, with really nice interior throughout the hotel. The rooms are really clean, with a comfortable bed, best sleep weve had in India. Everything in the room is new, you have everything you need for a relaxed stay. This is the best hotel we have stayed in and we recommend you stay here when visiting Jaisalmer!

Wow, this place is a gem in India. If you are missing long, hot showers, many fluffy pillows, amenities in your room, and serious hospitality, then this is your place. The place is pricier than some of the budget places you can get in Jaisalmer, but still much less than the other nice hotels here. And beyond worth it.We checked in on a day I was feeling unwell, and I literally did not leave this room until check out. We were even granted an extra hour late check out on a day I know they are sold out. They have offered to keep our bags overnight as we go on a camel tour. Not sure what else they can do to help, they are so nice here!The room itself is absolutely gorgeous, with wood ceiling and stone walls. There is a strong ceiling fan, AC, refrigerator, tons of water, like six pillows, coffee maker, fluffy duvet, modern bathroom, mood lighting, I could live here forever. The rooftop restaurant is fabulous.The only possible con is that we enjoyed staying inside the fort, and this is a short walk to it. But its fun going through the town, and you are next to a few other cool places, like Wanderlust rooftop. The view of the fort lit up at night is better than the other way around, too!Highly recommend.

Great seating arrangements with typical rajasthani seating on mattresses with throw pillows. The staff is super friendly and will help you choose the food as per your taste. The best place to stay in Jaisalmer.I had a pleasant stay with my family in Pleasent Haveli. Its clean with small but comfortable rooms, clean toilets, good restaurant with tasty food and a fantastic view, everything at a very reasonable price. The staff there is also friendly and hospitable people.

Absolutely helpful staff. We landed randomly on a Monday morning and they helped find a desert tour, kept our luggage and even fed us with free chai and papad. The rooms are good and everything is walkable. They even have a great fort view restaurant on the top!

A big thank you to the hotel owner Narinder for his kind overwhelming hospitality. Me and my husband stopped here 2 nights, The views of the kila were breathtaking from the hotels open terrace restaurant. The rooms were so clean and very spacious would recommend room 10. The food was so tasty and the service was 10/10. Narinder also went out of his way and assisted us in contacting the airline to extend our stay, would definatly return. Thank you all again.

This place is overhyped, and costlier than what it should be. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR STEPS AT THE STAIRCASE AS THEY ARE HIGH AND SLIPPERY WHERE YOU MAY FALL. NOT GOOD FOR ELDERLY AND THOSE WITH KNEE PROBLEM FOR YOU HAVE TO CLIMB HIGH UP TO ROOFTOP FOR EVERY MEAL. At such high price of RS 5428 a day, they do not include complimentary breakfast. The restaurant is full of flies. But rooms are good.
