Absolutely beautiful placePics on the website arent half as good as the real place.However.... Dont take the dinner buffet ... they treat you like outcasts If you go spend the evening in the garden ..Renovated rooms are better.. some are old. Avoid those.Overall... A good place to stop over

Property is very good but a dignified hotel has good hospitality which you will not find here an ounce if you are an Indian. They cant serve you water also properly. Dont ever plan to dine over here unless you like cold food. Worst Management you would ever found. Special mention to Mr. Ram a man who promises a lot and cant deliever even what a watchman can offer. Ruined our anniversary and stay in Jaisalmer. 100% not recommended.

It was magic for 2 days to stay in a place Rajwada Fort . It even turned better and grandeur. We would recommend this place to any and every guest with complete faith.The management of the place is infallible, the teams creativity, efficiency, dedication and attention to minute details was in comparable. We had a pleasant stay at the hotel last week . The staff was very courteous. Rooms were very good & spacious. No issue with hot water.Buffet breakfast was very well,even jain food was good. Only grudge swimming pool was not filled, maybe due to COVID times. It was a beautiful experience.

We visited Fort Rajwada during our trip to Jaisalmer. We were served with a six course meal in the courtyard for dinner! The ambience in the night was just magical, with the folk singers performing in the courtyard. The staff was super courteous. In our six course meal, we were constantly asked for feedback. The food was scrumptious, the service and the attention to detail made it even better. Special thanks to Ms Kripalini and Mr Ram for their hospitality. I would highly recommend this to be a part of anyone’s Jaisalmer itinerary!

This is the worst experience in terms of hospitality we have ever had! My husband and i are frequent travellers and have been to several properties in India and abroad but never seen staff talking like this.The hotel intercom connects you to the front desk and this is the worst behaviour iv ever seen.They refused to give us glasses in the room 1st night! Saying it was not in the hotel policy. On the second night when we insisted to meet the Manager to show us the policy, they said they will send other glasses but couldnt send wine glasses unless we ordered wine from them.A 12rs mrp soda bottle was billed to us at rs 170!!! Its horrendous!The staff passing by your room will poke into your room!Beautiful property but the experience was totally ruined by the staff!I will not recommend anyone to stay here or else just check and confirm the things you need beforehand with the staff or else they might say its not in the policy!!I will highly recommend the management to get a soft skills training for the staff.Special thanks to the only guy who was cooperative, Kapil in the restaurant who had the skills required in the industry

First of all its not a heritage property. Its just built to look this way. Secondly its not a 4 star hotel from any angle. Its a 3 star hotel with average food and overpriced tariff and food menu. Not worth the money i spent thinking it wud be a 4 star heritage property.

If you cannot afford Suryagarh and Marrriot, Rajwada is best place for you. It has a serenic outlook. It is quite majestic. You can walk around the hotel after food. So many spots inside tge hotel for photography. You wont find more polite Reception staff than Rajwadas. Room service is fast. Other staff is also cooperative. Rooms are very spacious. Bathroom is also spacious and cozy. Overall a great experience.Caution: Hotel is away from the city. If you want to shop around in the market, you need an auto which is hard to find around this place. Hotel people can arrange one though which charges around 200.Suggestions:1. Charging point should be on the both side of beds. It is only on onse side2. Breakfast lacked non veg options. U can improve upon that.3. You can provide slippers for 2 in the room.

Definitely amongst the good hotel resorts in Jaisalmer. The Rajwada offers a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. With a good sized swimming pool and terrace restaurant and bar, this hotel has everything that any tourist would desire. The rooms are good sized and are kept well organised and tidy. The bathrooms are hygienic and clean, with all possible amenities. Its definitely not priced in mid level, and may pinch your pocket, but nevertheless the stay here is worthwhile. Happy vacations.

A paradise in the middle of the desert. The rooms were clean and well taken care of. The catered food was very good and i even got away with drinking non bottled water in the dining room. Currency exchange is available at the desk also which was a better deal than at the airport. Overall Ive had a great stay. Would recommend.

Stayed for 2 days. Good property, good rooms and nice location. Staff is helping and courteous. Nice pool and food as well. Only problem is food if not included in package then it’s very costly as compare to hotel room rates, infact normal lunch cost can reach the rate of their room rate. But overall it’s complete value for money and perhaps the best property available at Jaisalmer.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK. SAVE YOUR MONEY. The pictures you see of Fort Rajwada on their website are misleading. The swimming pool with the light setting (its nothing like that), the grass in the courtyard (fake grass), the folk entertainment (with two rows of plastic chairs), the rooms (we were given a room with twin beds put together and a bathtub that was broken; to their credit, they did give us a better room, but it left a sour taste in our mouth), the restaurant (serves bad food for astronomical prices), etc. There is NO terrace restaurant. There is NO valet service. A room that cost us 6500 a night, a bad dinner that cost us 4200 and a feeling of PAIN that I wasted my money, left me with no option but to warn every person who is planning to stay in Fort Rajwada. If you have read this, then you probably also want to know where to stay. Well, thats upto you my friend. I just helped you eliminate one more off your list.

Absolute joy to be at, especially in a large group. The desert camp that was arranged was unbelievable, stars, amazing Sufi music, 22 km from the border, but so peaceful. Food is immaculate. If you like cocktails Sunnyji the bartender is your man, and for sheesha get a hold of Rahulji. Absolutely lovely personalised service and the weather around Feb is beautiful. A new experience! Corporates would find Vinay a pleasure to deal with. So professional and warm.

Well maintained rooms and premises. Well groomed and responsive staff. Ideally away from the city buzz. For business trip or for leisure the property is ideally located and suited. Food is nice drinks are good. One of the best hotels in Jaisalmer city.

Had a harrowing experience in Fort Rajwada. Will never visit the hotel again. My kid by gods grace escaped from being hurt by an unstable fancy item placed on the doorway of the restaurant. It was unstable and fell down while she was trying to go out of the dinning room.The operations team did not do a proper risk assessment on the potential safety hazards to the guests. This could have resulted in a serious injury. We were in a state of shock but was relieved that she was unharmed. The restaurant staff present at that time told us not to worry. To our surprise and shock two days later during checkout the reception staff told us that we have to pay for the damage of the fancy item kept on the doorway.We were treated as though we have committed a crime and felt harassed and helpless. We had no access to the higher ups at that time and with no options left we paid ₹ 6000 just to get out of the situation. There was no concern or remorse by the staff at the reception and they were rude and not ready to listen. No professionalism of Hospitality industry was demonstrated. Only after insisting they gave a bill stating the cause.I am sure that their behaviour would have been different had my daughter got injured. This sort of a treatment was not expected from a hotel of this class although the hotel was good otherwise. The happiness that we enjoyed during the vacation was shattered in a moment by the behaviour of the reception staff.

REVIEW OF FORT RAJWADA, JAISALMER:To start with this is a highly over rated place. Though the place has been nicely developed but it lacks the class for a 10k per room for a family. The hotel has managed to create good ratings for itself in tripadvisor, because of which we too got enticed to book this over others available.However I would like to share our experience here..1. Reception: you are welcomed by highly unprofessional services of incompetent staff.2. Food: pathetic quality of food and very poor spread of food in buffet. Nothing tastes good. Some food items are even stale.I wish we could have taken a picture of breakfast spread to show what we mean! . Good part is that room service was the saving grace!3. Rates: Hotel very smartly offers very reasonable room rates (7.5k + 2.5k for extra bed). But please do check for their in room dining menu. Youll end up paying more than the per room rates only in food. If you order liquor too, god save you.And most importantly we were told that owner Mr Khosla was present. It felt that his presence disrupted the effectiveness and decision making abilities of all staff.One would expect that the owners would come and take the feedback if you are a 21 member group having taken 6 rooms, but it seemed he was least interested in feed back and more important in how he can loot one time people coming into property.Their F&B manager Nepal Singh is only a puppet who committed certain things and then would go back on his word stating owners instructions. No Accountability.NET NET GO ON YOUR RISK IF YOU WISH TO SPOIL YOUR HOLIDAY.

Hotel property and aminities are not at per the star rating and tariff of hotel. Food is good but highly expensive. You must try dal-baati here but only if you are willing to pay around 900 bucks for the same. Very limited menu of cocktails. No major activites or play area for kids around 5-10 years. Seat of commod was poorly fixed. Gym area is also poorly maintained. Evening poolside cultural program was good but if you are to visit desert i then there is not much difference. Hotel property and garden area is huge and very well maintained. For me one is sufficient if you want to spend leisure time here.

The ambiance is very good. The rooms are big and luxurious. The staffs are very very hospitable and they make you feel like a King(or a Queen). The hotel is spread across a huge area and so there is ample of open area like garden, a huge lobby, a big swimming pool, etc. They offer delicious food in their restaurants. The cultural program which usually happens in the evening is simply mind blowing. You must not miss a chance to enjoy their candle light Dinner along with the cultural program. This is the place to be.

The resort is one of the many lookalikes of fort in the area. It gives a feel of a palatial fort with royal splendor. Rooms are spacious and well maintained.the property is spread in a huge area. The swimming pool is good and is always buzzing with activity. The buffet is sumptuous.service is quick and very courteous.

This hotel is good compared to other hotels in Jaisalmer but... it lacks the luxury of high end hotels. There is no elevator and I actually got electric shock from the bed side lamp.The dinning room is large and impressive but the food is not diverse and there are not any fresh vegetables in the breakfast buffet.

We are staying in this hotel today 5th Jan 2019.plz dont book this premises as every thing is fake n with no service at all. First of all ...rooms are not up-to the mark n they gave very few options .So we have to select rooms as per their choice. Then we ordered tea but after half an hour no response so we cancelled our order. Now TV is not working due to insufficient balance .... But still no response . Lets hope for best for coming day... Very bad experience 😬😬😭😭

Not a very happy experience overall...PlusProperty is well designed and good looking even though a little away from the main town Staff was generally very courteous Spacious rooms Minus The hotel had a party on the night we arrived and wanted to force us to join @Rs.**per head i.e. **for four people. Only when we put our foot down that we would not accept did they back off...but this turned the first experience sour Food quality was poor. It felt that international cuisine dishes were being served for the first time We were asked to pay 500 per hour for use of pool table. Gone are the days when hotels used to charge for pool table facility especially when its a holiday resort.On the whole, made it clear that they are in for ** on your money.

This is the best place to Stay in Jaisalmer. The staff was extremely cooperative. Stay in Fort Rajwada was the best decision as the place is value for money. We booked through goibibo and got the most best deal than any other site. Food was good and the rooms were beautiful.

Jaisalmer has a lot of options to stay. Rajwada is beautifully built with most of the possible amenities of a Hotel.However, for the same cost one can get a more luxurious stay in such tourist places hence the cost wasnt justified.But if you are looking for one place, where you can relax, swim, chat at the terrace, have hukkah, beer and a good food then this is decent enough. And yes, dont miss the evening cultural program at pool-side.

Lovely hotel. Nicely laid out and landscaped. Good pool. Spacious rooms. Food is ok, not great. Pricey, as many economical options available, albait without a swimming pool. Main problem is location. Quite far off from city and hard to find public transport like auto. They say it is 3km, but more than that. And in a small place like Jaisalmer, that is too far off.

The hotel looked beautiful from the outside. Very royal, elegant, palace looking. The rooms were very spacious but slightly outdated. The Continental breakfast spread can definitely be improved with few more options. For the price we paid we were expecting a little more from the hotel but please note that the options for 4 star hotels at jaisalmer were limited and were just as expensive for my travel dates.

Not worth it at all!Looks amazing from the outside and in the photos. But service and the rooms were sub par. Not that the staff werent nice...but most people in Rajasthan are nice to the tourist. You expect a certain level of competency from a hotel in this class. Things that went wrong:1. Room was underwhelming in terms of comfort, bathroom looked tacky2. AC smelt like it was blowing air from a nearby toilet3. Found hair in the food, which was kindly exchanged.4. The most abismal breakfast buffet I have had in my 2 weeks in Rajasthan. PLEASE SKIP THE FOOD HERE!5. Room service was subparCannot stress this enough, DO NOT PAY EXTRA FOR FOOD.I would recommend the Marriott for rooms and Sree Jee for food instead, at least quality is guaranteed.Good thing about this place was how amazing it looks. But in all it was a hollow experience. Disappointed!
