It is in Fatih, Iskenderpasa Neighborhood, Öksüzler Street. Another Ahmediye Mosque is located in Üsküdar. It is also known as “Etmeydanı Mosque”, “Ahmediye” and “Middle Mosque” because it is located in Pious Etmeydan, one of the old districts. It was built in the middle of the Janissary rooms in Etmeydan by İbrahim Pasha, the son-in-law of Suleiman the Magnificent and the first Grand Vizier (Maktul-Makbul) in H.934/M.1527.The first construction date of the octagonal Ahmediye (Orta) Mosque, adjacent to the İskenderpaşa headmans office, was built by Makbul İbrahimpaşa for the Janissaries. The wooden parts, especially the dome, are very nice. Very clean mashallah. It was stated that it is the only one in the world in the form of an octagon. It is among the rumors that Young Osman was killed here.

Ahmediye Mosque or Kefçe Dede Mosque; It was built on the Anatolian side of the Bosphorus in the corner of Essapdar and Esvapci streets, in 1722 by the shipyards chief Ibnul Emin Ahmet Aga. The mosques architect plan is in square form. It was built with rubble masonry on an area of approximately 250 square meters. The minaret to its left is made of cut stone. The last congregation place, which is said to have been built in 1931, was removed during the repair in 1965 and no new ones were built. The last congregation place of the door is mihrab. The mosques placing and architectural arrangement is very successful. The dome of the mosque sits on sliced trumpets and there is a window on each side of the eight-sided pulley. The altar is in the form of a simple plastered niche. The marble pulpit is small but a beautiful work of the period. The mosque has seven windows at the bottom and eight at the top. The mosque, which was devastated in time, was repaired in 1861 and 1885. It was repaired in 1965. It was originally built as a mosque. Later, his burial, imaret, muqakkithanesi, fountain, medical school, madrasah, library and public fountain were made. The mosque remained around the corner. The area where the mosque was located was known as Kefçe Dede District until 2008 regulations. The mosque is very close to the Malatya Ismail Aga Mosque. The head of the mosque, İbnül Emin Ahmet Ağa, is a medfiye. The tomb of the mosque, Eminzade Ahmet Ağas 1730 tombstone, and Kefçe Dede, who built the first mosque, is located in two parts on the Qibla and north side of the mosque.

After the new cherry quarry was destroyed by Mahmud II, the name of the mosque was changed to Ahmedia and Et Meydanı was changed to Ahmedia. The middle fountain, which is fed from the Byzantine cistern, must be here, and I think the cistern is locked and may be hiding as a result of those bitter memories. The old Davutpaşa barracks, which is currently located at a few km distance from the Yıldız Technical University and Teknopark, played an important role in suppressing the Janissary Rebellion. Especially the presence of Young Osman in Yedikule dungeons before being massacred are historical events. As much as a historical place, Mahmud the Second wanted to erase that bad history by opening these places to the settlement. Aksaray subway, the area around the Police Headquarters formerly called the Janissary quarry and meat square.
