Very Good restaurant and awesome food and aumbience..

I hope I am the first and the last one to rate this place.At first, we were asked to seat in the corner of the restaurant with no one coming to attend us for next ten minutes.Our waiter for the day - Prasanna was not at all the knowledgable on the menu. He didnt even bring the Drinks menu to us in the first place. After we insisted, he got us just one menu, seeing there are two people on the table.We wanted to have Old Fashioned and Prasanna had no idea what that drink was. We were later informed that the restaurant ran out of bitter. How can a hotel like Taj run out of bitter ? We settled for Kingfisher Beer.The dinner started off in a very disappointing way when we were served some tasteless Anitpasti that can only be compared to Corn Fluid. The Main Course tasted equally bad.For the main course, I ordered a Spaghetti and I made pretty clear that I my pasta needs to be a Spaghetti but I was served Linguine. Again, there was no communication in terms of how our food and our experience was. Moreover, our waiter got us one plate and kept the other guest waiting for next ten minutes. In a restaurant, you always get two plates together. Thats restaurant 101.This was very disappointing experience. And, I was charged Rs 3600 for this experience. We left the food on the plate and walked away and no one even enquired about that.If you still wanna go to this place. Be my guest.

Food was good, but the view was stunning although we were seated behind a wall. The food was as an expecting mother is...prego

Do you want an outstanding Italian gourmet experience in Chennai then try Prego. These people do take their time but it is worth it. The beef here is phenomenal. So is the pasta and the risottos. Loved it !!!!
